Entertainment News
The definition of "Entertainment", according to Merriam-webster dictionary, is an amusement or diversion provided especially by the performers. This can be in a form of movies, dramas, comics, books, etc.
When searching it online as how it was defined in the Philippines, it is a form of comfort; pleasure; amusement.
Looking at the entertainment industry in the Philippines through most of the social media platforms, it had became a toxic idea that actors or performers should meet the ideals and expectation of the spectators or audience. Seeing the comments of the said posts in social media platforms became so overwhelming, that when I scrolled through, I could see some actors or performers crying, with blatant comments against what could became of them.
Before social media, the entertainment industry was once a peaceful and comfortable way of diverting once attention from the stress and misery in real life. However, when social media was discovered, people blatantly exposed their opinions so openly.
This is where people would have wild imaginations or delusions of what could've been of this- and that-, and openly posts it in social media. As someone who holds a handheld technology almost 24/7, it is sickening to think that this has what become of people, and this would be how our children would grow up with, a very toxic way of entertainment.
We should be reminded, that outside of their acting or performance, actors/performers are also normal citizens. Yes, being exposed in the entertainment industry would exposed their personal lives as well. But, is it so hard to respect their boundaries outside of their livelihood. Let us all remember that acting/performing is a livelihood as well. We are all afraid of being criticized within our workplace, but as a spectator, we are fearless of sharing our thoughts about them.
It is saddening to think that our society became so fixated of opinions, that they forgot the word 'respect' and 'boundaries'. Supporting them is one thing, but blatantly criticizing the person based on their past seems so sickening. My words may be extreme in vocabulary, but the reality itself cannot be describe in just words.
Why can't we support them, and only support them? Bashing them, and sharing negative opinions is a Filipino toxic trait that should be stopped, even a long time ago. Comparing the past to the supposed present is not a good way of showing support.
Do we have to wait for actors/performers to cry so that we could wake up from the reality that the we, the spectators, made them cry just because of our blatant opinions about them?
We should only share the positivity with them so they can enjoy what they do, and just support them wholeheartedly. They are now where they are through their hard work and self-achievement, not because of the spectators, but because it is what they enjoyed.
Keep the entertainment industry a way it was defined. Be the safe space actors/performers could be proud of, not driving them to their downfall.

Point Ormond Lookout...
A Place known for an astounding sunset view of the Melbourne CBD, but for me, I want to see places in a different perspective. I took this photo, reminding me that I am still standing, that I am still living, thriving in a foreign country. I see astounding views around Melbourne around social media platforms, but what those posts didn't include was how people tend to come at this places, outside the busy streets of CBD to unwind, remind them to stay on the ground, despite their achievements and successes in life. Every person coming in this place has their own story. Sometimes, their story begins here. So entering the new year, coming to this place marks the start of renewing my perspective of life.

Deku’s Butler, from J-drama Mei’s butler
While watching this drama, it made me imagine if Izuku was Mei from the drama, and Katsuki is the butler who previously served Uraraka. I know that in the drama, it is an all-girls school, but in my imagination, it is somewahat a school for future lords and ladies, and Izuku is somewhat a grandson of the famous or largest enterprise in Japan, and Katsuki is willing to serve Izuku.
Then on the place of Mei’s childhood friend, it made me think of Shinsou Hitoshi, who is willing to study being a butler for Izuku.
I pictured Katsuki in a grey butler suit and Izuku in track suit with large glasses, and the schools uniform, somehow is gold with black lining, and the pants is black velvet or skirts.

Which is hotter: The Soft and happy Midoriya Izuku or the Evil and Angsty Deku?
This thought pondered in my head for countless times, how attractive can Midoriya Izuku be, and how would it turn out for the explosive personality of Bakugou Katsuki.
How do you think of that?

Regrets do come when it’s too late
I never thought reading my mom’s previous messages made me realize how a shitty daughter I am, especially the thought that I neglected her for someone who never thought about me the same way that I did. It’s so heartbreaking, especially that I never apologized for my mom for the last time. I am a shitty daughter, a shitty person that still lived as empty as a shell flowing at the bottom most part of the deepest ocean.

I saw a vid in tiktok and remembered I already knew or lived in that moment, like a de ja vu... The exact video, exact app, exact content, and as I swiped it up, the next vid is the same vid as I saw from that moment... Ever since, I have small moments that I already lived from way before, and was showed from dreams, way back months, days or years...

People can change... But no one knew if it's for the better or for the worst.
As long as we are true to our selves, no need to runaway.
We can escape temporarily, but eventually, we need to face it head on. Escapes are ways for people to think the best ways to face it back head on.
It's okay to be weak, it's okay to be afraid it only means we're human. We have feelings and our own individuals.
No one should define ourselves...
And I'm proud of what I am...
