Overlords

Alastor: Not an overlord, actually! He has spent his years since death serving his lady, Lilith. Not even the Sins know why she keeps him around, no one knows him. No one remembers him well. But everyone has seen an awfully odd shadow following them. And maybe, just maybe, he has finally proved his utility to her. (Charlie, where are you?)

Rosie: Cannibals have always had a bad reputation, even between the sinners. So who better that a cannibal to organize them? Inside a little disctrict in the gluttony ring, you can see a group of cheerful sinners surrounding an old woman. Not powerful enough to command, but has gained respect since starting the Cannibal Sindicate. Member of the Overlord Council.

The Vees: A section all about them!

Vox started as an entrepenuer in the greed ring, always searching for more. After a couple of failed business ideas, he decided that the best would be to reunite other sinners to create a digital empire. The (un)official leader of the Vees, and face of every product. Member of the Overlord Council.

Valentino quickly followed, lust ringer through and through. He commanded the fame, the glory, and created the most beautiful scenarios to command.

Velvette, a surprising envy ringer, saw their market idea and decided they could do more. While not as famous as the other two, she's the genius behind the screen and the one who pulls all the strings.

Carmilla: While not that important to the main plot, she is one of the fiercest adversaries of the Vees, always trying to keep the peace, or what can be found of it, in the pride ring where she's from. Absolutely against the digital world they are trying to push and, sadly, Angel Dust. Vice-President of the Overlord Council.

Zestial: After escaping the fierce clutches of the sloth ring, Zestial met his savior.. Commander and leader, his name intimidates most, even while they haven't seen him do much. Just one single sinner remembers his beginnings, but luckily he doesn't talk much. President of the Overlord Council.

Husk: A fierce overlord, a manager of business. Gained many souls through gambling and cheating his way through life, but lost it all to a mysterious shadow doing it in the name of his Lady. Now he's just a Husk of his past self, remembering his good ol' days and trying not to fall in love with him.

Angel Dust: The star of the show. Instead of gaining souls through sheer power, he sold his body in exchange for them. Currently "dating" a certain Vee, though no one knows if that's the reason for his fame. If you see him, try to run, 'cause there's a chance you won't live to tell the tale. Member of the Overlord Council.

Judas: Did you miss him? Did you? Well, the followers of Jesus certainly did when he betrayed them. While the feeling of being in Hell would be enough to kill the most unfortunate souls, he stood by the test of time. No one quite remembers what ring he's from, but everyone that knows him call him "The Keeper of the Outside". Founder of the Overlord Council.

Continuation of this post!

So, Lucifer is in hell, surrounded by his closest confidants who supported him.

Beelzebub, Mammon, Satan, Belphegor, Asmodeus, Leviathan.

And Lilith.

He resented Him for failing him, failing his people.

He searched and searched for a way to make them great again.

Redemption is what he seeked, and redemption is what he wanted.

He tried to help the same fallen humans who he despised before, Sins and Lover by his side.

When Charlie was born, though, he mysteriously disappeared.

Maybe that's why she likes redemption so much.

Maybe that's why Lilith hates redemption so much.

And maybe, just maybe, that's why Heaven's been awfully quiet lately.

He's not dead, though.

Not completly, at least.

His soul is somewhere else.

Somewhere more divine.

Lucifer fell because he was too bored.

Boredness kills the mind, corrupts the soul.

Adam and Eve didn't eat the apple because they got taunted.

They ate the apple becasue they got bored.

Bored of inaction. Bored of knowing good and bad but never doing anything about it.

The apple didn't (doesn't?) symbolize knowledge, it symbolized action.

The power in their hands.

Lucifer saw an opportunity with Eve.

Adam acted, hunted, walked.

Eve looked around, nothing to do.

So she was the perfect target.

When God found out, He was furious.
