Lucy rose her brows at the mention of the Highlands. "Oh, how I've enjoyed doing the same the rare times Quidditch practice was cancelled over the years... Who cares about Imelda's balloons when you've got the rest of Scotland?" A genuine smile formed on her lips as she met Angus' eyes.

"You should definitely check out a game this coming season then. Perhaps Ravenclaw versus... Hufflepuff, or Slytherin." She put her hand to her hip on the topic of rivalry, and his heart in particular. "But yes, if you were in the game, you'd definitely be a rival. Are you saying then, Angus, you can't handle your heart beating fast against me?" @acourtcfmuses

Angus shrugged a little. Like Eilidh, he had been given extra assignments to catch up, he just wasn't as studious as his sister, and she had tried to teach him some of the extras, but her time had been taken up a lot the year before. "Eilidh tried to teach me everything she'd picked up last year during the summer, I'm just not the best student, and she was struggling a bit with Fig." he admitted with a sigh. "I ended up blowing off her tutoring sessions and going flying around the Highlands instead." when ended up with Eilidh going to visit with Sebastian, Ominis or Poppy.

"I'm not too shabby on a broom, but I don't know if I would be any good at Quidditch - I've never even seen a game, just the model in Kogawa's office. I'm interested though." He gave her a lopsided grin. "You realise if I made the team and then your made yoursonce that ban was up, we'd be rivals though. I don't know if my heart could handle that." he teased dramatically with a hand over his chest.

Shamefully late but about time I got here

"Extensive tutoring is a must. Who's helping you with all that, if not your sister or Professor Fig?" Lucy didn't know Angus too much, but she knew enough. She was in the Ravenclaw table watching Angus and his sister getting sorted to their houses... as late blooming Fifth Years... and she was aware that Professor Fig was no longer with them for Hogwarts. And in spite of them being from different houses, she felt comfortable talking to him, he wasn't a pureblood snob, and she needed more of those in her life.

A fake, dramatic, exasperated gasp escaped her at the mention of her infamous Quidditch ban. "Only for a year! And that year is up, so I plan to do tryouts later. Are you sure you don't want to join? I've seen the way you've gone broom-to-broom with Imelda." @acourtcfmuses

The Hufflepuff glanced up from over his book in the middle of reading a passage on the patronus charm as he was whacked on the shoulder.

"Need I remind you I'm currently at a four year disadvantage when it comes to all this, homework is a must." He'd barely passed his O.W.L.S, he couldn't afford to fall behind.

Though the mention of Quidditch certainly peaked his interest. Of course he'd never seen the game other than the model in Professor Kogawa had in her office, and it looked brilliant; and Angus wasn't too shabby on a broom. Maybe he could try out for the Hufflepuff team? "Wait, aren't you like banned from Quidditch?"

Lucinda couldn't help but overhear the conversation Lucius was having with their other classmates during class. She turned around, letting one of them continue their train of thought before joining. She knew she wasn't pure-blood like the rest of them, and while it hurt sometimes, she also recognized that didn't change their sharp knowledge of magic. @familyname

"Well then, what would you say defines magic as dark from light? How is it, that the Memory Charm is not considered a curse or dark in itself? Memory modification is practically stealing one's memories from them, and I doubt anyone would say that stealing is child's play."

At the mention of stealing, she thumbed her pendant, recalling a lecture of her grandmother... Thou shall not steal from thy neighbour. Then again, what define a neighbour? With the limits of such, did that imply that stealing was sometimes necessary?

Who needs a wand when she's got a rolled-up copy of The Daily Prophet to lightly whack her classmate on the shoulder with!

Who cares if they knew she got kicked off Ravenclaw's team during the Fourth Year? It was Sixth Year now, the captain of her team had already graduated Hogwarts, basically she was in the clear to try out again!

Anne’s Punishment

Last night I figured out a possible way, not to cure Anne’s curse, but to keep it dormant, and I’m surprised I haven’t found anyone else yet who’s had the same theory.

And what— whoa that 3rd definition LMFAO let’s not start something there.

Okay, and what did Victor Rookwood say to Anne before cursing her?

“Children should be seen and not heard.”

And what then, per first definition of “curse”, would Anne be punished by Rookwood for?

I think everyone else, with this set of leading questions, can figure out what it could possibly take so that Anne may not feel the effects of the curse, assuming this is literally the condition of the curse. The drawback would be that Anne cannot let herself be “heard”, or verbally communicate or use magic without eventually being wrongfully punished per the curse’s magic for it.

Blog created June 8, 2023. I am 28. I thought, what if Hogwarts Legacy had a Ravenclaw companion for the Sixth Year?? I immediately decided to make this blog after coming up with the perfect url.

For Lucy’s Questline, any OC / MCor canon muse can be her quest companion! It’s totally optional but something I want to try! I’m aware it might be OP if Lucy just somehow knows all 4 of the “Rewards” offered, so we can discuss if she learns it from your muse or if she teaches them to your muse instead but I think at least 2 of the 4 should be explored!

Undesirable anons or asks will be deleted. Not here to fight anyone regarding JKR.

Dark themes and spoilers won’t always be tagged unless it is stated in the rules of other blogs I follow.

Lucy has been a part of Hogwarts since her First Year, but her mind is often somewhere else. Or maybe she needs more to occupy her mind and time while adjusting from the muggle life to a witch’s.

With the return of Quidditch in her Sixth Year, she is excited to make a new friend during tryouts, of whom she can share her knowledge with… and possibly enlist to help break out an old friend who’s been wrongfully incarcerated to Azkaban.

Lucy was once a devoted Catholic, Holy Cross draped over her neck and all. She grew up as the eldest muggle-born daughter of three sisters and two brothers, assuming many domestic duties typically expected of her time. To break out of poverty, her father arranged for her from the age of seven to be betrothed to the son of a wealthy Portuguese merchant. Life was simply predictable and perfectly planned out, or so she thought.

Unfortunately or fortunately, the discovery of her abilities as a witch became a conflict of interest.

While she was eager to attend Hogwarts, she didn’t realize how difficult it would be to part from her mother, who struggles to raise her non-magical siblings when her father walks out. She also struggles to maintain her engagement. In an effort to balance it all, she ends up resorting to using Obliviate on her family members during a heated altercation. She inevitably loses the young man she formerly considered as her “First and For-ever Love”. She got kicked out of Ravenclaw’s Quidditch team by her Fourth Year and is currently at risk of expulsion from Hogwarts.

Sometimes she wonders if it would be easier if she just drops out of Hogwarts to retreat to the countryside as a nun, but through her education and potential as a witch, she is drawn to learning more of how she can lead a more independent and fulfilling life. Who knew Gringotts Bank needed people to break curses to bring gold to the vaults! Who knew a dedicated team is required to scout the muggle world, to erase a muggle’s memories of magic and its existence in honour of the International Statute of Wizarding Secrecy! Who knew Unspeakables of the Department of Mysteries saved lives by tampering with the laws of time?

Alas, who knows if she’ll complete her Hogwarts education… or if she’ll become distracted by something or someone else, and ultimately lose her chance to be properly trained as a witch.
