"When Lucy and I were little we'd spend hours outside laying on a blanket in the grass by my mom's flowers and just read books together or look up at the shapes in the clouds and eat cookies. I never minded the silence and always felt comfortable just being near her. Especially since she never judged me when I was learning how to bake said cookies and would sometimes flub up the recipe. "I'm an only child so I had the great task of finding these films all on my own." And would then proceed to try and coerce her mother into watching them with her, no matter how bad they turned out to be.

"Perfect!" Lucy grins, following with a nod. "Popcorn. You can't have a movie night without popcorn." It was only natural, as tradition dictated. Or, at least how the Driscoll family declared it to be. "I've got a huge box of donuts. Not the most traditional snack for movies, but they taste pretty good."

"You might be awakening the competitive instinct I never knew I had until now." The blonde decares, stepping up on the dance floor next to Jared.

"I mean I grew up with an abundance of siblings, so it was inevitable that I was going to be exposed to such masterpieces." Not that he minded. Jared, as already admitted, had grown to love them and become fond of the chilled easy-watching chick flicks. Sometimes, he'd even prefer them over his usual genre of action films.

"Great, I'll swing by around eight-ish?" He posed, still trying to give her a chance if back out if she wanted to. "I can bring snacks, what's your favourite?"

He snickered, shaking his head, stepping up onto the machine. "Right, you're on. Prepare for the biggest battle of your life, Lucy Driscoll."

Lucy shrugs, "I had a lot of bullies at the time, so I tried to avoid tight indoor spaces where they'd likely be." She whether that might of been too much information and Mac was only trying to make a joke out of Lucy's aversion to prom as a kid. "Adults are just tall kids sometimes." She reasons, "Just because they grew some facial hair and joke grown up jobs, doesn't mean they grew up."

"Was there some weird online trend that I missed where going to prom stopped being cool there for a minute?" Mac questions out loud as she adjusts the straps on her dress that had gotten jostled from dancing.

"God, yeah, the ability to consume alcohol makes it so much more fun. And there's a lot of people here that haven't completely grown out of their dumb teenager phases."

Lucy sits on a bench in the middle of the shark tunnel, looking directly up a large stingray that shared the tank gently swim over her. Delighted, she looks like a kid in a candy store watching the cartilaginous fish mosey on by.

"Look how massive it is!" She turns to her company beside her, palms clasping together im the midst of her glee. "Okay, okay, I promise we can keep moving on now. I just wanted to see the Stingray go over one more time."

"What's your favourite dish to cook?" Lucy asks, whole heartedly. She loved learning interesting tidbits about the lives of her friends.

"I don't know, I guess that talent gene missed me. I like to bake every now and then, but it doesn't taste anything close to what mum and Liza can come up with." She shrugs, however Lucy doesn't feel despondent about that fact.

"I baked cookies a few times for my friend. She had a cool recipe to try, but I'm not much of a baker. I like cooking more."

Aiden feels there is more room to experiment. Baking is so exact, the little room left for mistakes stresses him out too much. Noelle does have a talent when it comes to cookies, though. Aiden is seriously considering a second one.

"Why don't you bake? You read a lot, so you can just read a cookbook on it."

"I know, but you've gotta admit, it's pretty creative. Didn't hurt anyone either." Better than most of the pranks a lot of kids executed at their own schools. Or, at least some that Lucy read of in her books.

"Okay, that's bad. The poor crickets!" The blonde skews her nose a little, "Stuck in the vents for hours!"

"Grooooss," Alfie grins, more tickled by that notion than he should have been due to the grossness that he highlighted, "People were really just doing anything around here. I heard something crickets in the vents for someone's senior prank one year. I think I'd take my chances with the bugs over the prawny whiff."

Lucy knows deep down Nikki would be heavily disappointed if the dog turned out to have an owner, however she smiles, and doesn't want to dampen the mood. "Let's go then! Hopefully she's healthy and happy."

Nikki grinned, fingers buried in the dog's fur, alternating between it's body and ears. "Of course I'm coming!" there was no way she'd miss out on the chance. "And we're getting you a pup cup, cause you're so good" she spoke to the puppy as if it was a child and then looked at Lucy grinning. "I'm such a weirdo right now..." || @lucydriscoll

Tell us about a memory you hold close to your heart.

Don't you dare tell me this is the most cliche thing ever, but it was the moment I held my daughter in my arms for the first time. I was so young and my life changed forever when I found out I was pregnant with Lucy, but it changed in the most wonderful way for me. I'm beyond proud of her and I love her so much I could cry just thinking about her.

How do you like to take care of yourself?

Sitting in my giant beanbag, almost the size of a double bed i'd say. I'd have a book, tea, noise cancelling headphones and zero plans for the evening. Well, apart from imagining myself in whatever fantasy scenario I'm reading.

Yes! From my family on my graduations, and sometimes on birthdays from friends.

"I didn't go to my actual prom, so I'm trying to use this to make up for the experience I didn't get then." It should be noted that Lucy not attending her prom was completely her decision. "I can feel like a dumb teenager again, except I can legally drink."

"The only thing this is doing is reminding me how much older I've gotten since my actual prom," Mac admits from her seat at a table, taking a long chug of punch to hydrate herself.

"I thought for sure I'd at least have until my ten-year reunion before I started to feel ancient. How you holdin' up?"

Lucy winces a little. Her experience in the high school wasn't.... fantastic. However she did have good moments, however they seem to overshadowed by the bad in retrospect. "I remember a guy put shrimp in my math class curtain rods on a Friday evening while the cleaner was locking up. They spent hours on the Monday trying to work out where the smell came from."

"I'm getting hit with the most vivid flashbacks at random every time I look around, not all of them ones I want to revisit," Alfie jokes with a mild grimace, looking to the person closest to him with a somewhat hopeful expression, "You got any good stories about this place? Shenanigans and such."
