What actually happens when I think about Djibouti, this country can roar into life because it is blessed with some of the loveliest people I have ever met. We hugged the Red sea, drove around the port while singing, we shared fish and broke bread together and laughed a hell lot. This broke the ice and allowed brother hood and Co existence. Such basics are paramount in starting the conversation. Djibouti can can and will fulfill it's undoubted potential and that's the #African story I prefer. With what we have in our hands only doubt is holding us back. Enough of the insecurity let's roar towards fulfilling our potential coz regardless of all we are #Stillstanding

Trying to gain some perspective in a week that has been packed with activities. The pick of all being the amazing photopgraphy exhibition at the just concluded Open Doors event and the first ever #Ubuntu talks. The amazing with them project by a French photographer #Ann revealed lifestyle of refugees in different settlements across the country. Her tool is a camera and a mind with perspective. Ben from Congo a young man am so privileged to work with and the amazing Grace are using music to liberate young and counter all forms of negativity especially hate speech . Limitations are pointers, more like rough edges where dreams are sharpened. How sharp you wanna become, comes down to aware you are of these pointers. Can't count how many times I have been told NO.
