it’s rare that lulu doesn’t remember a thing from the night before. however, it’s rare she goes out and gets anything more than tipsy. that was why waking up in a dark and cramped room was so incredibly odd for lulu. there was zero light shining in, and that worried her. what had she gotten herself into now? sitting up slowly, she rested her hand on the soft wall beside her. it didn’t seem to sturdy and was shaking a bit, so she gave it a gentle push. much to her surprise, it actually opened. as soon as the light hit, she felt the hangover and immediately squeezed her eyes shut. “ i think i’m dead. ”

babe laughed at the thought of her best friend giving arlo the third degree in front of a bunch of greek strangers “maybe we should hold off on that for now” she suggested tying her shoelaces at the edge of her bed. once complete, she sat next to lulu on hers, with her phone out to show her pictures of the night before. “we went to dinner at a little hole in the wall in athens,” babe smiled flipping through pictures of the food and arlo who was sitting in front of her smiling and goofing off “we had a few drinks” she explained with a chuckle as his expressions progressively got more exaggerated. “then we walked around for like fifteen minutes before deciding we were lost and called a cab” she added as the photos changed setting, some of the sunset and some, selfies of the couple in the cab. babe sighed contently as she put down her phone “so yeah, what did you do last night?”

☆ ｡ ▫ ○ — THERE WAS nothing better than seeing her best friend gushing with love and happiness. that was something lulu had always wanted for ruth. she was just a tiny bit jealous. but they’d both told each other numerous times -- your time will come. ruth’s was right now, and lulu was sure to follow. “ alright, only because you said so. but he’s not getting off lightly! ” even though lulu wasn’t at all intimidating. she rested her head on ruth’s shoulder as she looked at the photos on the phone in front of her. “ i’m glad you’re having such a good time. i’m glad you’re super happy. i’m glad i get to EXPERIENCE you being super happy! ”

Jace gave a soft nod, moving his mug back to the table. The soft clink of ceramic against wood brought Jace’s eyes to the source. “Definitely not. Even ignoring the history, this place is—well, you’ve looked around. It’s gorgeous.” Never one to ignore beauty, Jace turned his head to look out the window. A soft breath left his lips. He was quiet for a moment before looking back to the girl across from him, cracking a smile. “And, hey, when we all strike it rich then we can come back.”

☆ ｡ ▫ ○ — LULU HAD never been good at history, so ignoring it was pretty easy. what she was good at was gawking at her surroundings, and she sure put that to use in every new place. at his words, a chuckle escaped the blonde’s lips. “ that’s the dream, isn’t it? ” if only lulu had any special skills or had even gone to college. “ i can’t see myself winning big any time soon, unfortunately. so, it’s a distant dream. ”

“the last time well actually it was my first time too, we flew over a storm and it scared the crap outta me.” freddi remembered distracting herself with one of the mini booze bottles. “i think taking care of nerves beforehand might help.” she shrugged smiling as the brunette agreed to the drink “if there was ever a time for a drink i think this is it” she giggled raising the glass.

☆ ｡ ▫ ○ — “ OH, WELL that makes sense, ” lulu said with a nod. she rarely took trips by plane-- one of her first had been visiting ruth in chicago. so, she’d been lucky enough to not run into any turbulence. “ hey, i’ll take any opportunity to drink for free, ” she said as she opened the bottle.
