Felt like my studio needed some color on the walls so I painted a big green blob, & I love how this still life from last week looks with it. I know my colors, the ones that seep into every part of the life I’m curating without me even consciously noticing until later. Color is therapy, can’t convince me otherwise. This gray greeny shade just does some grounding things for me. Makes me feel like I’m walking in the woods on a winter day, or maybe I’m a rain droplet floating in my cloud covering waiting until the earth needs me again and I’m released. I’m in the tub & I get sensi in the tub, hence the extra metaphors. Anyways, it’s a really good green.

Over the past year I’ve found myself in a real tug-of-war with social media. After so much time on Instagram, I’m just not feeling like it’s where I want to do heavy sharing anymore. I need some more barriers between me & the general public, so this space is just going to be for you and me. You, who find yourself wanting to dig a little deeper into my life, I feel safer with you here. So welcome to a page where I try to revisit the feelings that tumblr gave me when I was a teenager and needed somewhere to store my thoughts. Might get messy.
