Overdetermination
The way we analyse art or media, is that what is or something else? Asking questions that may not be answered, in the movie cure of wellness their was a scene of mother and son, the mother gives its son a small ballerina dancing before he lives for trip. He asked why is her eyes closed? Why is the ground blue? Why give me this one since she makes multiple ones? He will never know the answer. This goes with art and media, the artist and directors like to keep us hungry for answers.

Fractured Identity
This type of identity is where one individual is able to show multiple identities, able to adapt in any situation. I’ll say I have three types of identity but as for example Hannah Montana was a living the life of a rock start. As she was able to create that identity, her real identity Miley Stewart was just an average teenage high school girl. As one in fiction a characters a girl named launch in dragon ball series, was able to change identities just by sneezing, the appearance change, voice and personality to a more evil feel.

Essentialism
Essentialism is the view of one’s identity; this can apply in creative practices. This is what defines a person or a community or what they represent, creating an identity so others can identify you, such as logos and symbols, defining and distinguishing people or groups from one another. For digital media, media people they express themselves through their content, their techniques shows others of who they are. As a digital media student I’m including a photo of my previous work to represent my own identity, showing that I am different and who I am.

Creative identity
The way you present you work to society, for digital media you don’t really express yourself if your been directed not unless if you create your own videos. I create my own videos, with the skills I acquire in my practice I’ve been able to play around with premiere and other programs. Creating my own identity through photography, filming, video-games, sculpting and drawing, that’s my identity. Below there’s some pictures of my previous work where I had the chance to film, time-lapse and sculpt.

Subjectivity
This is the effects of ourselves, Sigmund freud views is when we grow up we are subjected to our surroundings and we take that in which that is what shapes how we act. For example children get hurt many times as we grow up when encountering you know the consequences and choose to avoid, it’s our motives into how and reason we present ourselves that way. It also works seeing yourself through someone else’s personal view point, helps out to understand them.

Authenticity
Acts of self-awareness, self-direction, and self-reflection that what I think, it means not only be yourself, but ignore what others say about you, e.g. haters. You have to be authentic to be yourself, be unique, social media is where you can be as authentic you can be because it’s all done in comfort zone e.g. home, phones. I try not to hide anything because if I do that will stop the things I want to do and love. Also be more authentic when showing of your work because that what identifies you, this creates your own identity. A youtuber called messyourself, his funny and unique, I haven’t seen any other as energetic as he is.

Creative influence
Is what influences the individual, the influence can be from past experiences or someone said to you. Basically like parenting, children get influenced by their parents and follow their footsteps. ‘[I]dentity operates as a set of resources which people draw upon in presenting and expressing themselves ‘ (Tagg & Seargeant 2016, p. 343).
As for myself I have been influenced more by YouTubers, during the years ive been jumping on stop motion shots, hyper-lapse, gaming and building. For my year 12 major work I presented a stop motion clay video, which it required over 1000 photos. The title was ‘forgotten things’ I was influenced by Blu animations and other videos in short Blu.

Sensory Knowledge
This is important this is how we learn and face the world we live in; basically everything we do is sensory knowledge. Its information that ourselves obtain through your senses. Hear and feel, experiences that we have during the day and the other, technically building up that knowledge so that we can build ourselves up. Looking through digital media point of view, watching media day to day, youll start seeing small changes, some could trigger certain feelings and responses because we rely of our need for approval. What I mean is that we need to learn, no matter how small and unimportant the work is.

Social Identity
Technically a group observer having an opinion or feedback about a character, the feedback of the film gifted hands, the identity shown for the main character was strongly judged for its race in black, because back in the 19th centuries white race was superior and black not part of society. As a digital media student I have to construct my own identity, by giving out my expressions through my content. Having my own identity and audience is important, they are the ones that give you feedback and the reason as the creator improves.

The Unconscious
The unconscious is like your other self but you not aware but you are aware of its actions and responding to the environment. With the unconscious can be used to improve itself, daily activities and influencing our creative thinking. The unconscious It can’t really be changed, as an example habits you just can’t get rid off, as a creator having their own way to create their content style. The unconscious can gain self-improvement, almost like a born talent and mastering it. As an example Caroline Leaf created tinted 70 mm film footage, the two sisters, her unconscious gave her the idea to produce this artwork.
