Hayden: Thank you, luke. :)
Hayden: it is! my sibling just sent it to me because i forgot to tell her about it. but yeah, it's online.
Hayden: let me know what you think of it when you see it after your shoot?
Hayden: well, i'm having a blast around here. i might even consider getting an apartment or something. i just love new york so much.
Hayden: everything is so fast-paced. no one ever sleeps. everyone is awake 24/7. tiring, but fun.
Hayden: How're things over there?
Luke: I'm gonna check it out. I'm sure is brilliant like everything you guys have been doing.
Luke: The city is so dreamy, I totally get you. I never moved there but I loved to be there every time.
Luke: Sounds like you might have a song for your love for NYC in the works.
Luke: Here? Not much going around. Aside from the usual fights between my brother and his ex wife. Other than that, it's been pretty normal and uneventful.

Hayden: but you can't pick me up and save me tonight cause ... you're probably in crownsville while i'm in new york :/
Hayden: no more stargazing :(
Luke: Hey there, believe it or not but I was about to message you. I saw you on my TV. Congrats for that performance, blonde gem. Looked like so much fun.
Luke: Say congrats to Danny from me too, also for his win of the night and his later performance with his band, I am officially a fan now, hope he knows.
Luke: I know, but we can go stargazing once you're back, how does that sound?
Luke: How has NYC been though? I love that city, one of my favorites. Or have you guys been too busy to explore yet? I imagine the second option.

“ JUST KNOW THAT PICK UP LINES DON’T WORK ON ME. “ hayden points out confidently, chuckling innocently as she felt his arm guiding her through the spot she mentioned earlier. if anything, hayden was a bad liar. it’s either she shuts up, or tell the truth– but this time, she shuts up yet her emotions were visible through expressions. the smile seemed too prominent, the drunken blush giving her features a human-like radiance, and her heart felt like it was stuck in her sleeve. it wasn’t such a bad idea at all– or maybe, just because it’s with someone she actually likes. “ you should definitely do some things that you used to love back when you were a kid. that keeps me grounded for some reason, and calms me down whenever things get a little bit too overwhelming for me to handle. “ she settles on the ground, looking up to him as she waited for him to take the spot beside her. “ well, honestly… i still get them. but not as usual as it did before. which is… something, right ? “
“Don’t they though, doll?”, he teased once more. “Then why are you blushing again?”, he pointed out, smirking to himself as they walked together. He was really enjoying the time spent with her, there was something really wholesome about this night they were sharing. It all felt pure, something he hadn’t felt in a long time. “That’s a really good advice... I don’t think I’ve done stuff I did when I was a kid ever since I got to college, then Hollywood came and you just stop being yourself and you become theirs, the public, you know?”, he sighed a little, laying down right next to her. “I don’t think I’ve been ‘just Luke’ for a while, but right now I think I am... and that feels... nice, almost forgot what it was like” he admitted, chuckling a little. It was weird for him to easily open up to someone new, but with her it felt easy, and natural. “I’m glad they aren’t as recurrent to you, wish they were non existent instead but you know, at least it’s gotten a bit better”

“ YOU JUST DON’T SEEM TO BE THE TYPE TO ENJOY MUNDANE STUFF. “ hayden admits, hiding her face with her hands the moment luke started commenting on the way she’s blushing like crazy right now. “ no, no, no. don’t do that ! that would be really, really embarrassing. if the radio plays it, then maybe you could try to impress me by singing along to it. “ and just then, they were at their destination. she was feeling quite better now, compared to earlier wherein everything felt as if it was moving when it shouldn’t. she takes a deep breath upon exit from the vehicle, and turned to the male once again before started to walk around. “ i think that spot looks neat and comfortable. “ in fact, she had memorized this park like the back of her hand. “ this is actually what i used to do whenever i have those sleepless nights back in the day. just sneaking out of my old bedroom and returning once the sun starts to rise. “
“Mundane stuff? How is it mundane? I love spending time with pretty ladies and you’re one”, he winked at her. It was evident the effect he had on her and he loved that. “Why embarrassing? It’d be dope, I could sing along to it then, you’re right”, he laughed. “Aren’t you already impressed by me though? Singing or not”, he teased. When they got out of the car, she rushed out of it before he could get there to help. Still she was a bit tipsy so he wrapped his arm around her waist to help her walk. “Is this a bit better?”, he asked, cheekily grinning at her. “Thought you could use the help”, he smiled warmly as she shared her story, walking together on the direction of the spot she had chosen. “That’s actually beautiful. I could have never done that back in L.A. I would just stare from the balcony at my mansion but not as good as a small town park.” he shared. “I mean, when I was a kid I did it a lot too, back in San Francisco. But those days are long gone so this sure is all a big nostalgic to me”, he sighed softly. “Are those sleepless nights gone for good now though?”

Lucy: yeah in atlanta! trust me, luke thomas. there were some pretty cute dugongs there. i don't think anyone's going to be asking for anyone's pictures except theirs.
Lucy: BUT YES LETS BE. well i'm not really... but maybe the boys will take some of the heat off you, whooo knows.
Lucy: amazingly. he organized a wHOLE CONCERT for me in atlanta just for our third date. andddddddd i told him i loved him. people keep saying it's too soon but i don't think so.
Luke: This is true, you're getting to know the real Luke Thomas. Exciting.
Luke: Dugongs? I'm more of a penguin guy to be honest.
Luke: Don't fangirls ask pictures with the girl their favorite celeb is dating though? Famous or not. I mean, it's happened to me before so.
Luke: A whole concert? Did he and his band serenade you?
Luke: 'I love you' on a third date? It's okay, Lucy, I won't judge you. You live your romance at your own pace. I'm really happy for you though.

chana-adelberg:
The last person Chana expected to run into in Crownsville was Luke Thomas so to say she was surprised was an understatement. Why was he here of all places? She never thought he would ever leave California. Well she tried not to think of him at all but that was hard to do. He was the only serious relationship she ever had besides Geo and she really didn’t consider Geo a relationship despite the fact they had a daughter together. What was one supposed to say to an ex? Not just any ex but an ex she had thought she’d end up marrying at one point and who she still cared about. It took her a moment to compose herself, holding her books close to her. “What are you doing here Luke? This is honestly the last place I thought I’d see you. Please don’t tell me you’ve moved here. Let me guess. Finally had enough of Hollywood?”
“Yeah, I wouldn’t have expected it either”, he joked lightly. It felt strange to see her again after all these years, after the last time they tried to work things out and failed once more. He always wondered why. She was his only real relationship to date. He’s dated a few other women after or in between the times they were not together. But nothing as serious as it was with her. Getting together from such a young age, when both their careers where just starting and finding stardom together. The couple Hollywood loved to talk about, she understood the pressure and the downside of it all. And she was by his side through it all, and so was he. And he still cared, he always would. But somehow, that was never enough to make it work. “Why wouldn’t you like me moving here?”, he asked. It kinda hurt to hear but he’d perfectly understand why. “I’m gonna start filming a movie in Atlanta and my brother just moved here to be close to his daughters so... I decided to move in with him too while I’m working on that project”, he explained. The whole situation felt awkward at that point. “What... about you?”

SHE TOTALLY AGREES WITH HIM. knowing herself more than anyone, she knew her attention span was similar to a goldfish’s. she could get distracted over the tiniest details, and hayden had accepted that by now. she looked at him again, her vision becoming clearer as she tries so hard to meet his gaze and not seem like a totaly drunktard on the loose. that’s the last thing she wanted him to think of her. “ i can’t believe you’re so down for this. “ she giggled, the blush on her cheeks notable despite the dim lit back seat. did he want to see her again ? or was it just because he really grew fond of the mad batter that he wouldn’t mind returning every once in a while ? the assumptions were coming, and hayden bit her lip as she dwells on that thought alone. “ i honestly can’t wait for you to randomly sing any part of the song– but it would absolutely be entertaining to hear you sing your heart out to the song’s bridge. “ she chuckled once more, a hand landing on his before closing her eyes again.
“Why can’t you believe that? I love fun things and that sounds like such a fun plan so”, he explained, grinning softly at her as he rested his head on the car cushions too. When he noticed her cheeks turning red, he couldn’t help but chuckle a little and make a comment about it. “Why are you blushing blondie? Look at you, that’s adorable”, he teased her, chuckling softly to himself. “Hey kids, spelling is fun!”, he added in a pitched voice to tease her again. “I might have drank tonight but you won’t catch me singing anytime soon... or maybe but I’d need more drinks” he laughed. “Maybe we can ask the driver to play the song though”, he playfully suggested, just a few moments before the car stopped, making it clear they have arrived to their destination. “Well, we made it... do you need some help getting out of the car?”

It hadn’t been too long since Luke moved here so he was still getting used to this place. He still didn’t know much around, or people around. But he decided to go out and explore the small town for a bit. Surprisingly enough, it was quiet and even if people recognized him, he wasn’t mobbed like he normally would in L.A. It’s been a while since he could peacefully walk down the streets of a place like this, as he made his way he spotted someone on the distance. A very familiar silhouette, but could she be? What would she be doing in this small town too? He decided to approach her, tapping on her shoulder so she would turn around. “Oh my God... Chana?” It had been a while since he last saw her so the surprise on his face was evident.
Since leaving Hollywood and moving to Crownsville Chana was starting to change. Over the last ten years she had let the pressure of fame change her. Had allowed her agent and publicists change her from the small town girl from the mountains into Hollywood’s dumbest blonde. The next Marilyn Monroe some had labeled her. That wasn’t who she was though. That was all just an image she put on. Though she may not have finished high school history books were a guilty pleasure of hers. She couldn’t get enough. That’s why she loved Clarissa’s book store, Cover To Cover. Books in hand, she started heading out the store. What Chana didn’t know was that Hollywood wasn’t as far away as she thought at the moment. Or at least someone. @lukethcmas

“ HONESTLY, I HAVE NO IDEA. should i start counting my drinks the next time i go to a party ? i mean, no person in the right mind would actually do that– but considering my current state, i think it’s about time that i do it. “ hayden chuckled along with the male, her head slightly turned just so she could look at the male beside her. “ lying on the grass ? we’re going stargazing ? i haven’t done that in a long time. probably the last was when i was like… ten or something. we should do that. “ despite the intoxication, the genuineness of her smile radiated off of her system. how could someone she barely knew seem like he already knew her all his life ? “ well… i have been busy with the music and the mad batter. though… i wasn’t around much since the industry was quite demanding– and you can tell that i miss my original baby. what’re your thoughts on the single, though ? i’m dying to know, honestly ! “
“You’re right, nobody would do that... and you’ll most likely lose track after a few anyways so probably not too ideal. Maybe ask a sober friend to count them for you though”, he joked. For being the second time they actually interacted in person things just felt so natural. Even when he barely knew her, with her he could just be himself. Not famous actor Luke Thomas, just Luke, the guy from San Francisco. “Stargazing?”, he raised his brows a little at her. “That sounds interesting, I can’t even remember when was the last time I actually did that, not gonna lie”, he mentioned, smiling back at her. A strange warm feeling invading him as he watched her doing so. He actually was really looking forward to the idea now that she suggested it. “Yeah I actually stopped by The Mad Batter the other there but you weren’t there, I suppose you were recording the music video with Danny”, he confessed briefly. “It’s catchy and fun”, he answered, he actually texted her his thoughts but he assumed she was drunk enough to remember now so he just decided to say it to her again, not that it bothered him. “Not the type of music I listen to but I liked it, my nieces won’t stop playing it now though... so I’m probably gonna learn all the words to it sooner than you think”
