im a disabled trans man immediately postop from top surgery, my father is abusive & very transphobic & has been threatening over & over with increasing frequency beating / raping me (things that have happened before) & i have had to repeatedly beg him to not kick me out, & to do basic things like laundry, buying food, taking me to doctors appointments. ect. this is heavily excaserbated by him finding out about my surgery.

i am currently couch surfing. i cannot return home.

my plans for getting out of my situation involve :

heading to the uk, i have a friend there that can house me longterm, & i have obtained my passport & required documentation. the primary issue is the visa fee. witch i cannot afford

i have a leg deformity that disables me, i hope to get a simple evaluation from an orthopedic doctor so that way i can submit it as evidence to obtain a fee waiver, as if the uk visa application office determines you to be disabled you do not have to pay the fee.

my current problem is that- my father is likely to remove me from the insurance plan, in witch case, i would have to cough up the money myself for such an evaluation. im not sure what to do here, i would love to know if anyone has resources on cheap ways to obtain the assesment i need.

if that fails, i will somehow need to cough up the money required for the uk visa fee myself. witch in all likelyhood i will have to crowdfund. alongside that i still will need to have housing in the estimated 3 months it takes for approval.

i do not trust my father. i do not trust doctors. in all likelyhood, while i am going to try very hard otherwise- i will have to cough up the UK visa fee.
