About a month ago me and a couple friends built the bed in my van. it was hot but with 3 people it took less than an hour. I am so grateful for the help I have/will get.

Updates

Been working a lot lately to cover big changes happening in my life right now. I built the bed in my van and have pictures of the build and will post those soon. I move into my van in a little over a month and I will soon be getting started on the solar/battery. that will be done in a couple of weeks then soon after I will be moving in. it wont be complete but it will be ready. I'm excited and scared but am getting by with some help from my friends.

Update

Today I decided to fix the body issue on my van, will be cheaper than buying a new door. I also went to IKEA and found a perfect loveseat to use in the van. comfortably seats 2 and isn't too big. Will hopefully start posting pictures soon. hopefully Wednesday of next week or sooner

Wednesday

Wednesday I will be going to the scrap yard to find some spare parts for my van, I will also be starting to tear out the floor that the previous owner put in. They started to build the van into a camper but did some stuff wrong that I need to undo. The floor has no insulation, the side door has issues, and the walls are horribly done. I will be taking pictures to upload from start to finish of the entire build. My goal is for this to be an inspiration for others to do as I am an average person with a low paying job(15.45 an hour working part time). I find a lot of people think that the average person cannot do what I hope to achieve and i wish to prove those people wrong. To all of those that follow me and support me along the way I say thank you. It means more than you know

Current thoughts

I Just got this van and it needs a little cosmetic work but it's perfect. i am anxious, excited, and a little afraid of what's to come. I've never willingly done anything this outlandish before. i have friends and family who live in vans/busses and they are willing to help me build it. change is scary, but not in a bad way. I think I'm ready for this change but am probably months away. I hope for the best. I haven't started building the van as I have only just got it but already have some ideas in mind.

Starting today

Today i am going to be starting a blog to talk about basically anything. i am trying to build a van i can live in and travel with as my home. i will be sharing updates and pictures as i build from start to finish. i am not good at writing so i will be learning as i go with all of this. ill also be using this blog as sort of a journal.
