The Seven Sins Legacy Challenge

7 Generations. 7 Sins.

A Sims 4 legacy challenge where each heir is ruled by a deadly sin passed down from the generation before.

No cheats unless required

Cheats allowed for fixing bugs/glitches

Lifespan must be set to normal

Aging on, no aging off during a generation unless playtesting.

Each heir must complete:

Their career path

The listed skills (to level 10 unless stated otherwise)

Welcome to the Seasons of Life, a 4-generation Sims 4 legacy challenge where each generation represents a different season — not just of the year, but of the soul.

Each generation comes with:

a unique storyline written in second person

custom traits, aspirations, careers, and skills

meaningful gameplay challenges

a theme that connects to the one before it

Whether you love detailed storytelling, immersive gameplay, or building deep legacies, this challenge is made for soft hearts and creative minds.

Start in spring. End in something eternal.

Your legacy begins now.

Start with one sim. The founder begins alone on a modest lot (choose the size). You can use freerealestate for your first house but reduce your money to 1000 when starting.

No cheats for money and needs. This challenge is about evolving through the seasons — even the hard ones. You can use cheats for storytelling purposes (like death, divorce, etc.)

Each generation has a story. Play each generation with intention. Follow the storyline prompts, complete the required aspiration, traits, career, and skill goals. You can adapt slightly to your gameplay style, but the core of each generation’s story should remain intact.

Aging must be on at all times. Play on Normal or Long lifespan (your choice). Aging off is only allowed for screenshots or story pauses. Life must move forward, as seasons do.

Heirs can be chosen freely. You don’t have to use the oldest child unless the story calls for it. Choose based on narrative, personality, or even random roll. This is your legacy.

Optional packs are allowed. This challenge is flexible. If you don’t have a specific pack, just substitute with something close! The emotional and thematic goals matter more than the exact features.

Most important rule: Play With Feeling. This challenge isn’t about perfection. It’s about storytelling. It’s about falling in love with your Sims, letting them fail, letting them grow. Let it be messy. Let it be soft. Let it be yours.
