i‘m posting this a day late cause i was too anxious yesterday haha

i drew this artwork for my one year hrt anniversary. which was technically yesterday but my first full day was the 27th of june c: so yay i‘m technically not even late haha. this artwork is a very personal piece for me. this journey has changed me so much in just a year. I feel much more comfortable in my body of course but it affected my mind a lot too. I know this sounds super cheesy but it just kinda feels like a fog‘s been lifted from my brain. And it also feels like i‘ve finally got the spark that i‘ve been searching for my entire life. so that‘s what this piece represents! hrt is life saving medication and anyone that tells you otherwise is wrong. there was a time where the only thing really driving me to keep going was that date in my calendar. the day where i could finally start taking the medication i knew i needed since i was 14 years old. the world right now is a scary and disturbing place for everyone but especially for trans people (which is also why i haven’t had the energy and motivation to draw/post much this year…). demonizing minority groups just works better for politicians than actually working on changing things for the better… either way; i hope that with this piece i can spread some very needed trans joy and euphoria ⭐️💫 hopefully i‘ll live to see the day where i have lived longer on this medication than without it c:
