Meet Lunar Entertainment’s newest trainee, Jia!

[by @maraschinochoerry]
Full Name: Min Jia
Stage Name: Jia
Birthday: October 30th, 1999
Height: 167 cm
Nationality: Korean
Position: rapper
Talents: athletic (she ran track all throughout high school and usually ranked within the top three; she’s very competitive), lucky (always seems to do well with guessing games or anything based on chance), fast learner
Likes: fashion (her latest fixation is street fashion; she feels like it really pushes the whole rapper image, which she’s really proud of. she never goes out unless she feels like she looks good), doing hair (her personal favorite is wearing it in braids on herself, but she loves to play with anyone’s hair and try new things out if they’ll let her), sweets
Dislikes: singing (she can’t carry a tune to save her life, so ‘part switches’ are her greatest nightmare), airplanes (she’s never left the country before and just taken trains to travel anywhere else, so she’s scared of flying; that’s one part of idol life which she’s apprehensive about), cats (she’s very allergic, so they’re just a nuisance to her)
Family: Her parents recently divorced, so she’s been living with her mom and her little sister. Her sister is five years younger than her and she dotes on her a lot; she likes to play the role of big sister and absolutely spoils her rotten. She has a soft spot for the younger trainees since they make her think of her sister, so she takes good care of them.
History: She’s always thought that rap was the coolest thing; she loved the image that female rappers gave off especially, and always looked up to them (CL is her role model; she might just faint on the spot if she ever got a chance to meet her). She’d rap along with songs in her mirror when she was younger and always felt her best when she was doing that. As time went on, she started to feel like just playing around like that wasn’t enough for her, though. She wanted to learn proper techniques and perform for people, so she decided that she would audition and give it a try.
Other: She’s a really hard worker. Her family never really had a lot of money as she was growing up, so she started working as soon as she was old enough to. Between work, school, and track, she never really had a lot of time to herself, but she put her all into everything that she did. She intends to do the same with training. She’s also notably boy crazy; she’s loved boy bands all her life. It doesn’t take much for her to fall in love. Her current no. 1 celebrity crush/ideal type is Seventeen’s Mingyu; her personal goal is to perform on the same stage as Seventeen and just so happen to coincidentally meet Mingyu and fall madly in love.

She is really pretty and rich but isn’t a snob and is humble about it. Despite the way she looks she is a nerd, and does talk to new people quickly so like i mentioned before it makes her seem scary but once you know her is such a funny person. Jaehan grew up with maids and workers because her parents were always away so she never actually ever did work herself. Although her parents were away they still show that they love and care for her.
History: Its simple. Uj wanted to be an idol not only because she like to sing but also because all her life people did stuff for her so she wants to make her own living so when she is older she can look back at life and think that she did all that by herself. Meet Lunar Entertainment’s newest trainee, Ako!
[by @jisookazoo]
Full Name: Antonia Lily Camero Yoon
Stage Name (if they have one): Ako
Birthday (year included): September 6, 2002
Height: 5'1 (155 cm)
Position (vocalist, rapper, or dancer): Dancer
Talents (aside from singing, rapping, or dancing): Hairstyling, makeup, sewing, staying up late, yelling really loud,
Nationality: American
Ethnicity: Korean/Filipino
Likes: Doing dance covers, Cosplaying, Anime, DDR, Frogs, her older brother, hair accessories, orange sherbet icecream, giftcards, memes, the smell of freshly cut grass, dumplings, matching outfits, children, the color purple, bees, vocaloid, jpop, electronic music, nicki minaj,
Dislikes: eggs, the idea and desire to grow up quickly, heavy traffic, haircuts, doing laundry, studying, wasps, ASMR, staying still for too long, football, earrings, jeans, KFC, winter
Family: Ako’s parents are Korean (dad) and Filipino (mom). Her dad is an architect that works from home and her mom is an art teacher. She also has an 18 year old brother named Henry who just left for college.
History (why they want to be an idol, other training they’ve gone through, life at home, etc): Ako grew up in a close-knit family in the United States. She is especially close to her older brother and her interests were heavily influenced by his as they were growing up. She grew up listening to kpop a lot in her home, especially because her brother was a die-hard fan. As they both liked k-pop and anime growing up, Ako and her brother would always go to conventions. Hanging out with her brother introduced her to her hobbies of cosplaying and doing dance covers. Ako’s mother had wanted her to be a child actor but since that never happened, her mother was very supportive of Ako when she said she wanted to be an idol. Ako realized she seriously wanted to audition to be an idol when she was 13, but decided to wait until her brother graduated and moved to college first.
Other (add any other details you think are are important here): Her stage name was a nickname given to her by her brother. It’s a play on the -_-dat me meme because “yoon ako” is that in tagalog. Although she is Korean, she does not have a Korean name because of a deal her parents made in which one child (Henry) would have a Korean name and the next would have a Filipino style name.

Height: 4’11
Description of Venus: Venus is a 4’11 girl with straight black hair and bangs that reach her eyebrows. She has small lips and big cheeks. She has large dark brown eyes. Venus has pale skin and straight brown eyebrows that add more to her innocent image. She has gold round glasses and uses them pretty often. Vee looks up to idols like Twice’s Sana and Jihyo. She likes kpop and knows a lot of dances that would help in random play dance games. She sneezes at least 2 times a day and always drops her glasses when she does. Venus has always dreamed of being an idol and even more the maknae. She plays piano, guitar and flute. She’s learning a few languages and is already fluent in Korean, English, and Chinese. She enjoys attention but not too much because she’ll get scared. She also looks up to male idols such as Astro’s Sanha and 24k’s Hui. She idolizes Daehwi, Jinyoung, and Jihoon from wanna one. Daehwi for his cute image, Jinyoung for his personality, visuals and voice, (Jinyoung is her bias that’s why she’s such a fan), and she idolizes Jihoon for his cute image as well. Venus is afraid of bugs and gets scared easily. She is gullible and can be easily pranked. She comes from a family of four having one older brother and two parents. Her real name is Ai but everyone knows her as Venus or Vee. Ai loves stars, planets and anything to do with space. She also loves sleep so if someone interrupts it or won’t let her sleep she’s not scared to fight.
Position: vocalist/dancer
Talents: Can make up rings or tunes for fun, she is flexible, she can longboard very well, and she can improvise quickly as well.
Nationality: Chinese

Dislikes: she doesn’t like arrogance, bugs, white chocolate, rude people, and push ups. Overall pretty simple.
Family: like I said earlier she has one older brother and has two parents.
History: Ai has always wanted to be an idol because of the fun that comes with it. She has always had pretty good grades getting an average of about 8.7 to 9.4 and is only bad at math. Vee is pretty good at home as well and fights with her older brother pretty often but they still love eachother. She hasn’t trained at any company yet and would love to join a company.
Other: She is pretty self conscious about herself and doesn’t like her body a lot. She thinks joining a company could help her boost her confidence.
She enjoys singing and tries her best at dancing and rapping. She enjoys cute things and is 14 y/o. She considers herself cute and small. She’s short and enjoys to be called cute. She’s a social butterfly and doesn’t like when people say bad words. In simple words: she’s the innocent one.

Meet Lunar Entertainment’s CEO, Moon Hyunji!
[by @maraschinochoerry]
Full Name: Moon Hyunji
Birthday: April 4th, 1988
Height: 171 cm
Nationality: Korean
Talents: Communication; she’s good at negotiation and can clearly communicate her intentions. She can be very professional when she needs to be.
Likes: taking things slow (read: procrastinating, putting things off, being lazy...), cold weather, upbeat music, astrology, funny people
Dislikes: mornings, being brushed off, arrogant people, storms, strawberries
Family: Only child; very close with both of her parents
History: She’s loved music and idol groups for as long as she can remember. Ever since she was a child, she would watch performance after performance with wide eyes, absolutely unable to look away. She always knew that she wanted to be involved with the industry somehow. She tried to train as an idol herself for 2 years in high school. With two left feet and a weak voice, though, ultimately, it didn’t work out, and she left the company she was training under. As she continued on into college, she began to realize that she had a skill for business and the administrative side of things, and she decided to strive to work on a different side of the entertainment industry: as the one producing it all. She worked hard throughout college and even afterwards to save up the money needed, and with just a little bit borrowed from her parents (she swears she’ll pay them back as soon as she’s successful, which she hopes isn’t too far in the future), she was finally able to establish Lunar Entertainment. Being not only a woman but also very young to be in such a position (she’s only 29 as of the company’s opening!), she knows that she’ll likely face a lot of ridicule and difficulties in making a name for her company, but she’s determined to make her childhood dream a reality.
Hyunji has a very relaxed, laid back personality. She jokes around a lot and can be a bit absent minded at times in spite of her strong business side. She doesn’t want the trainees to view her as some stuffy, untouchable higher up. She wants them to feel like they can talk freely with her and come to her any time that they need help, so she tries to make herself as accessible as she can. She tends to stay in the company building from early until late, working just as hard as her trainees to ensure that they have the best experience and best chance for success that they can.
“I’m really looking forward to working with all of you. Let’s shoot for the stars!”
