SOOOOOOOOOOOOOO, remember like months ago when i said that i was gonna reorganize and move della’s blog? WELL, a bish was kinda waiting for a theme, and now the theme is READY SO GUESS WHO’S MOVIN BLOGS LATER TODAY? — its me. i’m bish. 

Anyhoo, i’ll post the link here when everything is moved but like, i set up tags and ish months ago, so i will be good to go pretty much immediately! Sorry i’m just like springing this on everyone but IMA HAVE A FANCY NEW THEME ON DELLA’S BLOG AND EVERYTHING. WE GONNA BE IN IT NOW FAM

SO RIP TO PEOPLE WHO HAVE HEARD ME RANT ABT MY VERSION OF THE TRIPLETS DAD BUT UHHHH, HERE’S A FUCKIN INFO DUMP FEATURING MY OWN COMMENTARY IN THE PARENTHESES:

His name is Elias Beak ( shout out to mr. walt disney’s middle name being the name of their dad bc my good friend bri is a genius and suggested that, and ofc we have beak for the bird pun bc i am a fucking loser )

He is a private pilot ( i made him work for fuckin glomgold bc i think i’m hilarious okay i will go more in detail w that later )

Elias was born and raised in Mexico, but he lives in Duckburg now 

He has a nice sized family! His father is still alive and retired, and he has twin sisters, Maya and Briana. Both of them are married and have kids of their own. Maya has three and Briana has two. ( Fun fact I made Briana into an OC recently as well, because I would fucking die for her ) 

Elias and Della are TOTAL FUCKING OPPOSITES ( legit y’all, it is a gotdam miracle these two dated long enough to have kids together ) 

Here is a small list of things that make them opposites: della can’t cook, but can bake, elias can’t bake but can cook. della loves adventure, elias would rather not take the risks. He’s organized, she’s messy. She’s great at split second decisions, he’s not. The list goes on and on and on 

He’s got a temper once he reaches his breaking point, but it takes A LOT to get him there. He’s very disciplined and doesn’t make rash decisions. ( most of the time ) He prefers to be able to evaluate a situation before making decisions. It’s when he doesn’t have the time to do that that he makes mistakes. 

Communication is hard for him and he gets so focused he overanalyzes and can wind up with tunnel vision. He misses out on a lot due to lack of making decisions. 

His dream is to just settle down with a big family of his own. He wants to be comfortable in life. Family is the world to him. 

He’s got a good sense of humor and can be very charming when he wants to ( it’s why della fell for him to begin with tbh ). He’s also incredibly stubborn at times ( another reason why he and della managed to stay together for as long as they did; they’re both fucking stubborn asses who didn’t want to admit they weren’t right for each other ) 

He is GOOD at business. Really good. He’s got a degree in it. He did this to help out his father so that he could retire and not have to worry about their family store. Even if now, Maya is the owner, Elias ran it until she wanted to step in. The two of them have managed to make the store a staple in their community. 

Elias is very close with his sisters. Their mother died when Elias was 15. His sisters were only 8 years old at the time. He helped his father with the twins as much as he possibly could. 

SO LIKE, Elias working for Glomgold is fuckin hilarious because Elias is one of the most normal men you’d ever meet in your entire god damn life, and he works for a fuckin duckburg billionaire. 

That is actually how Della and Elias met!! 

Scrooge vs Glomgold on sOMETHING or other. They both fly the planes out, those two idiots go do their adventure race bullshit that everyone just rolls their eyes at. Della, being Della, decides she’s gotta just mess with this poor dude. They became friends ( Della was dating Selene when she met Elias ) and eventually started dating. ( and bOY OH BOY DID THEY MOVE FAST, they moved in together after just a few months of dating, like damn y’all calm down pls ) 

Elias knew that Della had been fresh off a break up with Selene, so he decided not to ask her on a date - he’s respectful like that. But Della surprised him by asking him to dinner one day. Of course he said yes, because he’d been developing feelings for her. 

This relationship was a hot fucking mess. They’d get along well, enjoy their time together and then Della would pick adventuring over everything else. This started to grate on his nerves, but he overlooked it a lot. 

They had SEVERAL fights about her lifestyle, but they were DETERMINED to make it work. 

Finally though, he’d had enough. A year and a half - ish after they initially got together, he wanted to propose. But when she went on a last minute adventure and missed the date, he knew he wouldn’t be able to keep on like this. So he confronted her and gave her the ultimatum: adventure, or him. 

She walked out without a word. 

Della found out that she was pregnant about a week and a half later, but never said a word to Elias about it because she was still hurt from their breakup. 

She’d planned on telling him about the boys, but then the Spear of Selene incident happened. ( and before u ask me ‘ash! why didn’t donald or scrooge let the triplets’ literal biological dad know abt them after della disappeared??’ because grief. and when has the duck fam ever been good at communication???? )

I have more on him finding out, but that’s sorta verse specific, so it’s open from there!!! 

Anyway I think that’s a long enough info dump, and that isn’t even everything holy shit. I love Elias so much, he is a good man and he just loves his family pls let him be happy ( I say as I created him specifically for angst and angst alone )

He didn’t quite pout at the reminder, but keen eyes would notice the slight droop of his tail at her words.

“That was not my fault, my love, the ‘actor’ - if he can even be called that - deserved to be taught a lesson in front of the audience. He was a disgrace to the creative arts!”

He wouldn’t apologize for making certain that any performance near him was at it’s best - the entire cast had been lucky they were not in his plane.

▬▬▬ ☾☆      She didn’t have to  look  at  his  tail  to  know  that  he  was  upset.  Della  knew  her  husband.  So  she  frowned  a  little  &&  reached  up  to  press a  small  kiss  to  the  tip  of  his  nose.

But - if you want to go see a show, then we will go see one. Because it’ll make you happy, && that is all I could ever ask for.  ❜

                                    SKY PIRATE AU NOTES. 

Della got into an argument with Donald and Scrooge about her recklessness, so she took off in the middle of the night with her unhatched eggs. 

Somehow, she found herself in Cape Suzette at Louie’s Place. 

When she met Don Karnage, she asked to join his pirate crew - it seemed like a good idea to her! A place to live, and she’d still get to pilot. 

Della and Don started dating shortly after the eggs hatched. 

Louie was named after Louie’s place, because that’s where Della met Don. 

When the boys were about 6, Della and Don got married. 

Della has her own verse in the sky pirate song! 

She also helps with plane maintenance, and taught Huey everything she knows when he showed an interest in it. 

Della got a new outfit, similar to Don’s, and is the co-captain of the Iron Vulture. 

Instead of getting rid of her old outfit, she gave the boys each a piece of it. Huey got her cap and goggles, Dewey has her signature scarf, and Louie has her jacket. 

Della considers every member of the Iron Vulture crew to be one of her own kids. She is the Mom of the entire ship.

Della has not spoken to Scrooge or Donald in over a decade.

He grinned down at her, stealing a quick kiss. It was rare that they could go on dates without crime - and yes, maybe he preferred there to be crime, but change was still good.

“I always like to earn new wanted posters. One must update their headshot if they want to stay relevant in the world! A walk in the park is most definitely romantic. And if we have time, maybe we can even go to a show. We have enough money for a few tickets.”

 ▬▬▬ ☾☆      Della smiled into the  kiss  &&  then  let  out  a  laugh.  If  new  wanted  posters  were  what  he  wanted,  then  that’s  what  he’d  get.  

                                ❛  Are you sure a show is a good idea? You remember what happened last time we went to see a show.  ❜       

                      She reminded him gently,  still  smiling.  She  loved  her  husband  more  than  anything  in  the  world,  but  Della  knew  all  too  well  of  his  inability  to  sit  through  a  performance  quietly  --  especially  if  it  was  one  he  loved.
