2019 Sapphic Books To Add To Your TBR (40+ Titles)

We are entering a golden year of queer lit, especially YA. There is so much coming out in 2019! So many titles, in fact, that it would be very easy to miss some of the awesome offerings that are buried in sheer numbers. Here is my completely subjective, not-at-all exhaustive list of more than 40 titles on my personal TBR.

I will admit that I picked this up primarily because of the cover. A woman in high fantasy/ancient Celt robes, hair billowing behind her, playing an electric guitar? Add in the cover blurb (and the promise of queer content), and I was on board. Because I bought it mostly for cover appeal–I collect lesbian pulp, so I clearly have a weakness for ridiculous covers–I didn’t rush to start reading it. Instead, I waited for a time when I felt like reading something fun and a little bit silly. Unbeknownst to me, Gossamer Axe takes its rock n’ roll Celtic fantasy premise very seriously.

If this is a real thing....... where are my fics/comics of Yuuri finding random scribbles posted all over the house and every time he throws them away Victor asks where his note went until Yuuri eventually sees Victor writing cursive and wtf Victor you’re literally scribbling like a 3 year old. (And maybe Victor is insulted that Yuuri would say that about his beautiful handwriting...)
