🌊💄Mermaid Bath Spell For Beauty💄🌊

Every mermaid knows, as she gazed into her mirror, that beauty is in the eye of the one beheld! If you believe that you are beautiful, there is no doubt that most people will be charmed by you.

Method:

🌊 For this spell you will need a mirror- preferably a pretty one,with a handle. You will also need some spring water; some dried rose petals; some seaweed (which can be obtained in good health-food stores,or gather your own); a rose-pink candle; your favorite romantic CD (preferably instrumental rather than singing);and a natural sponge.

Make an infusion by filling a pan with spring water,bringing it to the boil, adding the rose petals and seaweed and then taking the pan off the heat. While the petals and seaweed are soaking, run a bath of warm water,light your candle in the bathroom, and start to play the CD, (or song on your phone,youtube or radio), to build up an atmosphere.

Strain the infusion and add it to your bath. (Note: it is always a good idea to test for allergies 24 hours beforehand by placing a small amount of infusion on your inner wrist.) When the water is at the right temperature for you, get in, and close your eyes.

Bring to mind your own special water fairy that you met in the previous visualization (here click here) and ask her to be near. You may feel her presence as a slight tingling, and if you are lucky, you will see her.

Pick up the sponge and stroke your body all over,enjoying the sensuous experience. Tell your body it is beautiful (even if you are in the habit of thinking the opposite). Say, “From the sea came my life, from the sea came my body. Like the mermaids I am beautiful.” Mentally ask your special mermaid to fill you with confidence and joy in your own sexuality.

Now pick up the mirror, look into your eyes and say, “I love you.” Say this as many times as you can, while sitting comfortably in the bath. Maybe your mermaid will whisper something encouraging in your ear.

Complete the spell by thanking your mermaid and snuffing out the candle with a drop of water. As the water drains from the bath, let your consciousness return to normal. Wrap yourself in a big, soft towel and pamper yourself.

🌱Some helpful tips to keep healthy house plants🌱

♡ Witch Tip: Eggshells ♡

I’m a “green” witch. I work with plants. I grow all kinds of things. And let me tell you, eggshells are my best friend. They’ve become essential to my practice where my plants are concerned. 

What eggshells are good for:

♡ Extra nutrients for your green babes

♡ Pest/bug deterrent

♡ Spells

♡ Protection (can be used as a replacement for salt)

♡ Feeling witchy (imagine the poof of powder floating around you and your plants as you recite an incantation)

Whenever I use eggs, I keep the eggshells and rinse them clean in water. After they dry, I grind them up into a fine powder/dust with my mortar and pestle. I keep the powder in a small mason jar with a charged sigil drawn on the lid for plant growth and protection. When I feel that my plant babes need it, I sprinkle the powder around them in a circle and over top of them. Sometimes I’ll say or think the words “growth and protection” to make my intent clear. The eggshell on the plant’s leaves and in the soil will deter insects that like to chew on your lil babes and provide a calcium boost. Depending on what type of spell you want to perform, you can also mix other organic materials (that are beneficial to your plants) in with the eggshell powder. 

As an added bonus, this spell never fails to bring me closer to my plants ♡

♡ Self Love Bath Spell ♡

Life is filled with self doubt and it can be hard to see one’s self in a good light from time to time, take time to relax and clear your mind of negative thoughts and opinions of yourself.

What you need:

Candles

- White and/or Pink candles

Flower Petals

You only need 1 or 2 of these and you can pick any 1 or 2 you prefer or have easier access to:

- Fresh or Dried light pink rose petals

- Iris petals, blue or white

- lilac petals

- lily petals

- magnolia petals.

Oils and Salts

- Coconut oil

- Epson salt ( meant for soaking in do not subsitute with any other kind of salt )

- Small drops of you favorite scented essential oil ( rose or lavender is my recommendation )

Optional:

- If you have any rose quartz those are handy as well :)

What to do:

- Run a bath at a comfortable warm or hot temp to your preference.

- As the water runs ad ¼ to ½ a cup of coconut oil depending on how much water you like in your baths.

- Stir in the oil and add in the Epson salt with your hands.

- Next scatter the flower petals of your choice into the bath, and around your bathroom if you would like.

- Add a few drops of essential oils to the bath to create a pleasant aroma.

- Light your candles and put them around your bathroom, and if you have space the edge of your tub.

- Lastly if you have rose quartz place a few around your bath, not in it though.

- I normally listen to calming music to help ease my mind as well.

What to focus on:

Soak for as long as you please, your body will feel relaxed as the worries slowly drift from your body, let your negative thoughts and self doubts be taken from your as your skin is nourished and softened by the water. Let it take all f those things away as it washes over your skin. Love and appreciate the body that you have and what is in front of you. You are you no matter what and loving yourself goes a long way.

After you soak, and drain your tub your worries, negative self thoughts, and self doubts will be washed down the drain with the water carrying them away.

Be sure to clean the petals from the water before you drain the tube to prevent them from clogging any piping.

Crystal Herbalism - Full Moon Ritual 

Burn a white or silver candle, place a moonstone near the flame, illuminating the crystal.

Look into the glow of the stone, what do you see? 

Meditate on the feels that arise. Honor your feelings. 

Take a small piece of paper and write your down your intentions for this cycle.

Whisper your prayers and the spell above into the paper and burn it in the flame.

The ash and smoke will carry your hopes to the moon.

Note: the December 2018 Full Moon rises on the winter solstice.
