【京都南座＜9月＞】歌舞伎『流白浪燦星（ルパン三世）』描きおろしイラストのポスター・チラシ公開！

今年9月の京都・南座での歌舞伎『流白浪燦星』再演を記念して、ルパンたちが実際に登場する衣裳を身にまとった、描きおろしイラストのチラシ・ポスタービジュアルが公開されました！

ルパンたちが身につけているのは、五人の白浪（盗賊）が活躍する歌舞伎の演目『白浪五人男』を彷彿とさせる、『流白浪燦星』オリジナルの着流し。

ポスター版ビジュアルでは、本作の大詰で五人がそれぞれ名乗りを上げる「玄界灘勢揃いの場」の場面が再現。

そして、歌舞伎の大道具の背景画を手掛ける絵師が描きおろした背景が鮮やかなチラシ版ビジュアルでは、作品に登場する南禅寺の山門や南座の外観などが描かれ、ご当地京都を舞台にした南座公演への期待が高まります！

TMS just dropped the release date, title, and preview for the first 2D animated Lupin III movie since 1996’s Dead or Alive!

The movie will be released in theaters in Japan on Friday, June 27th. No information is available (as of this moment) on an international release. It features a new rock song by the band B’z called "The IIIRD Eye."

LUPIN THE IIIRD THE MOVIE: IMMORTAL BLOODLINE — for the parts of it we see in this preview, anyway — seems to take place on an island somewhere in the Bermuda Triangle. Now, in Mystery of Mamo, they went to an unmarked island in the Caribbean (where Mamo seemed to be headquartered with his cloning technology), which certainly could be the same island. Oddly, outside of Mystery of Mamo, the Bermuda Triangle has only been home to a single Lupin adventure: Part 2, Episode 95, “From the Ghost Ship With Love.”

The Lupin III: The Italian Adventure board game is now up for pre-order over on the Crunchyroll online store!

The game is due for release towards the end of February, 2025.

Shipping from the Crunchyroll online store will only be available to those within the United States and Canada. The pre-order price is $36 American, and $46 post-release. Shipping costs will apply, so make sure to double check your options when in the checkout.

You can also pre-order a copy from the manufacturers website directly, if you'd rather avoid the Crunchyroll store.

The 1997 TV special Lupin III: Island of Assassins (aka In Memory of the Walther-P38) will soon be streaming for FREE via YouTube within the United States for a limited time. 🇺🇸

The special will feature the English dubbed audio only. This means it features the mid-2000’s FUNimation audio track, which includes Sonny Strait as Lupin III, Christopher Sabat as Daisuke Jigen, and Mike McFarland as Ishikawa Goemon.

For those looking to pick up a version of the film with the Japanese dubbing track, a Blu-ray version is available from Discotek Media (although at time of writing, it is currently out of stock).
