Except for the fact that i cannot scroll past an ad, it makes me go whatever website it’s advertising. I get an ad quite literally every two posts. And its getting harder and harder to detect whats a cleaver ad or an actual post. I also get ads when scrolling through someone’s profile to look at their art/fics/posts. I get that they have to make money to fund the website, but I am unable to scroll and enjoy the website anymore. I come on and post, check up on a couple friends, and then log off.

Sure its not over run with a million bots on here, but the usability of the app is near impossible for me. Im tired of scrolling and being sent to an ads website without even clicking it. Im tired of having to see an ad every two posts.

can’t believe tiktok is actually getting banned, twitter is infested with bots and brainworm-infested musk bots, facebook is king of QAnon, instagram caught the plague from facebook and is dying a slow death in real time… and as the dust settles… only Miss Tumblr is left standing… failing upwards once again

Im trying very hard to be active on here, but tumblr is not very user friendly anymore. I see about three ads per one post i scroll and it makes it hard to view and interact with other creators. Not to sound old, but what happened to social media?

Everywhere you go its nothing but ads and paywalls just to scroll a website. Even branded websites have ads. Im not talking about those little banner ads to promote small creators or small businesses either. Im talking ads that take ip the whole screen, pop up the second you go in a website, ads that you literally CANNOT not click.

TLDR; Im exhausted and scrolling to decompress has now become a chore due to ads
