Bigger in the inside, smaller on the outside. Two large rooms, one for his followers to do what ever he wants them to do, and what ever they want to do.
One all for him. Of course, being somewhat sentient of manners, he appeared in his 9 feet tall form, resting on his sides at four souls rested at the palm of his hand.
Which one.... which one to eat first.
They were all of the same quality, truth be told.
Maybe after this, he’ll try New York famous hot dogs....
And than he feels it.
People outside, magical people. By the dozens.... and without a care to the world he instantly wars the entire door , barring his own followers from entering and leaving them to their fate.

voice rose and fell like a tide; liquid. amused. ‘ tell me, do they suffer before you devour them? ‘
So the vampire was aware of his taste, were his followers not discreet as he would have liked? Perhaps not if he had made such a accusation, no a statement. Either way it mattered less and less who knew, after all there was no crime to him as it was his followers who brought the souls.
“I only eat the souls of those who live long full lives of satisfaction. And after their natural deaths....”
Voice came out like a lion growl, mangled but still clear and loud enough to be understood. There was no amusement in his voice as he said so, pipe in hand as he continued to watch without much concern.
“Did you learn.... that from my followers.... I assume? Did you...make them suffer to learn that?”
