There’s a lot you can learn in college. How to take a shot without wincing. How fast you can run when you sleep through your alarm on an exam day. How to write a good paper while watching TV in another tab. That it’s better to not show up to class than to fall asleep in it. What’s the best food to get you through a hangover. Et Cetera.
The single most important thing that Pete Wentz learned in college, though, is to always say yes to extra credit.
---
Wherein Pete is the 'It Boy' of UIC Chicago's party scene and Patrick is the 'Golden Boy' of the music program. They should have passed like ships in the night, but some people are always meant to find their way back to each other.

To give a little more context since I still haven’t posted, I haven’t been entirely happy with the last few fics ive posted, so this time I want to spend a long time planning and editing before I start posting. I’m 4 chapters in so hopefully I’ll be happy with it soon. I’m really excited and can’t wait to share it.
I know I’ve been MIA for a bit while I’ve been working through some writers block but GOOD NEWS I’ve found inspiration and will be posting something within the next couple weeks as soon as I get a better handle on the details. I can’t wait to be back

“It's strange how it's always the smallest things that end up having the biggest impact in our lives. For Patrick, it's an email sent to a spam inbox from a stranger that sets off the most confusing friendship he's ever had.
After moving in with Pete on a split-second decision to avoid eviction, Patrick has to learn to live with someone who is his polar opposite - energetic, extraverted, and confident - and then learn that they're not as different as he thought. Maybe this would all be easier if they weren't sleeping together.”
Merry Christmas! Have a Christmas fic!

"He first met Kurapika at a bar while waiting on a flight. They made casual conversation until Leorio had to leave to pick up his second foster son. He didn't think much of it at the time but the mysterious stranger from the bar somehow kept finding his way back into Leorio's life, no matter how much each of them tried to avoid it.
Where Leorio is a surgical intern just trying to look after himself and his two foster sons, Gon and Killua, and Kurapika is exactly the sort of distraction he doesn't need."
