Malia walked into the vet’s surgery and up to the desk. Mountain Ash. Of course, she remembered Derek saying he was a druid but she couldn’t quite remember what a druid was. She knew he was close to her, well her aunt she guessed. She was dealing processing this new extended family she had recently received.

She waited patiently until Scott came into view. She smiled at the alpha. 

“Hey my Dad thinks he left his wallet here when he took our dog yesterday.” Malia told him. She didn’t know how her Dad could have been so foolish to forget something like your wallet.

“The dumbass.” Malia added on.

The scent in the air changed as soon as the bell on the door rung, and Scott immediately knew he had a visitor, and who that visitor was exactly. The smell between werewolves and coyotes was pretty distinctive. Once he’d finished cleaning up and doing what he needed to, he peered around the door, confirming what he’d thought.  After washing his hands, Scott walked out of the room, smiling at Malia. “Hey,” He started and pressed his lips together at her comment, giving the place a quick scan.  “I can check but I don’t think anyone has handed anything in.”  Once he’d checked the back rooms, he checked behind the  counter, pulling out a small rectangular object. “Or maybe they did,” he laughed, walking over to hand her the wallet. "He's lucky, people very rarely hand them in.”
