It had been an innocent conversation to start but as soon as Hope started to ask any questions; the other became invasive. Not wanting to give her straight answers and goddamn she was sick and tired of being treated like she couldn’t handle anything. She was tired of people under estimating her. Maybe that was her fault. After all, all she did was stay in the shadows. Choosing to observe rather than participate right away. “I really thought you’d be the only one that wouldn’t.” Maybe trying to guilt them wasn’t the nicest or smartest thing to do but at this point Hope didn’t care.
