“I think I know what’s good or not for my career.” Lex really didn’t mean to sound as harsh as he did, but he never liked being told what to do, especially considering how long has it been since they had been in touch, considering everything that happened since last time, over two years ago. “Just because you think you know what’s best, it doesn’t mean it actually is.” He insisted, scandals weren’t anything new for him, he still had it his job, his fans. People knew about his father and what happened to his mother, it never stopped his career before, he doesn’t know why it’d be a problem now. Obviously he wasn't the most famous person out there, but his following was loyal. “Just talk to me,” he insisted, voice a little softer this time. “Please.”

plot: jiha jin and your muse, another idol/actor/etc, used to date before he went to jail, now he’s out and he’s been trying to avoid your muse - who’s finally caught up to him and is questioning why he’s avoiding them. male/nb.

“Look I’m not trying to hurt you I just think -“ How did Jiha explain this in a way in which the other would understand? “I just think for the sake of your career it’s best for you to not be affiliated with me.” Jiha knew those that still kept in contact with him since he’s been out had had issues, and he didn’t want the same to happen to them. It’s why he hadn’t contacted them in the first place when he’d been released, and why he was now trying to keep his distance from them. “I’ll always remember what we shared, but I can’t do that to do.” He’d been selfish before, but now? Now he had to protect everything the other had worked so hard on in the past two years. Now he couldn’t be selfish and hold on to them like he had before. Now he had to… let go. For their sake.

                 hazel didn’t mean to lose her keys, honestly who plans that . and it’s not her fault , really ... okay , maybe it is , but she doesn’t enjoy being as forgetful as she is . and now there’s a storm and she can’t get inside her warm, comfortable, safe, but most importantly warm house . really , there was not a worst timing for her to lose her keys . “ why do i always have the worst luck . “ she sighed , accepting she’d have to find another place to stay until the storm calms down . there’s no way she’s asking her friend to bring the spare key or calling a locksmith right now , it’s just cruel . hazel stays in front of her door weighting her options ... she could go back to her tiny car , not sure how safe that is , maybe knocking on one of her neighbors doors and hoping they’re home and willing to take her in for a few hours , yeah that’s probably better , she thinks , looking around to see if which of the neighbors had a their car parked or a light on . she wasn’t expecting much , honestly , she’s usually very unlucky , but seeing her cute neighbors light on and their car parked not very far from hers might get her to change her mind about that . so before she can think about any other neighbors , focusing on that fact that she’s cold and the storm is not showing any signs of stopping , hazel walks to her neighbor’s door , pressing the bell and hoping for the best . “ hi, “ the girl smiles softly when the door is opened “ i lost my keys so i can’t get inside , and you know , its raining a lot , “ her voice is almost drowned by a thunder , startling hazel . “ basically what i’m saying is : can i stay with you ? just until the storm is ... less strong . “ she  shivers from the cold . “ i promise i’ll be out of your hair as soon as i can , i just can’t call anyone right now . “ hazel keeps rambling , not sure how to make the entire encounter any less awkward .

“no- no! yuno are you dumb?! squishmallows are literally the best creation on this planet and they curb stomp stuffed animals any day.” there is a clear frustration in asta’s tone, staring at his brother in annoyance. “how are you going to look at me and tell me you think melting into a squishmallow isn’t life changing? it’s literally in the name…squishy and marshmallow-y!” 

“i didn’t say that, quit being so dramatic.” yuno couldn’t help but sigh, of course asta would get into that argument again. “i just think the regular plushies are cuter, you have more options with them, you know ‒ the shapes and sizes, and i like that better.” the discussion is stupid, in yuno’s very humble opinion, but he’s still going to humor his brother. “they’re timeless, if you will.” he paused “squishmallow's are okay too, i guess.”
