 Pulls out phone.  Displays picture of idol costume.

"What're you gonna be!"

"Halloween royalty?! Yeah! I want free chocolate! So… What’s your costume?"

Promptly pulling out her phone, the petite placed his name, as well as a quickly snapped picture of his face in, before slipping it back into her pocket, dropping it in with a quiet grin.

"Madi- Madi Brynne!"

         ”—Yeah, I remembered it.”

   A soft laugh chimes before his head shakes, one of the blond’s hands raising so he could point toward himself.

          “Names Jaune, Jaune Arc. Short, sweet, and rolls off the tongue.”

"Yeah, stuff happens.  We grow from it.  It's not like their souls were harvested, or anything."

"My duty was to keep those people safe! And I couldn’t even do that."

Tilting her head, the petite shifted on her seat, half lidded, hazed eyes widening slightly at the sight of the strange, blue haired boy.

"..I love you." 

This, obviously, was directed at him, though it wasn't her intention to do so.  She was tired, still half asleep.  No going back now, though.

A small smile was given to the redhead as he caught a glimpse of her.

“Hey, sorry if this sounds weird but I love your hair.”

"We'll get so much candy, Alex!  We will be the Halloween ROYALTY!"

"Madi! Let’s go trick-or-treating together on Halloween! I need a buddy!"

"Oh, did you remember your phone number?  I'm so glad!"

Concept of flirting completely goes over her head.

   Did he mess that line up? It sounded right, but she didn’t seem to…get it.

This irks her. As a student of Death, himself, she can only see responsibility for powers- and his?  There was absolutely no comprehending the issues he faced with it.

"I don’t want to be Spider-Man anymore."

Proceeds to stare at him.  Absolutely, and positively, confused.

"Is it like when you forget where you live..?  Cos that happens to me a lot."

Liar.  She didn't see- nor did she understand, especially with his weird getup.  Regarding him calmly, the petite raised an eyebrow, golden hues widened.

"Then, Mister Magician.  Can I see a trick?"
