Hey just wanted to say thanks for commenting with the names of some of those Australian horses! I don't know many at the top of my head because we don't hear of them much in the US, and I like to tag them as their names in case anyone asks me to post any of them :)

Go for your life :) I know majority so if I see any I'll just reblog with their names and you can do what you please :) doesn't worry me at all :) I'm going to try and post a few here and there :)

I want to make something really clear here at the outset.  I love bitless bridles.  I think they’re a wonderful idea.  If your horse has TMJ issues, if you’re doing pleasure riding, or your horse really prefers going bitless, or you’re just learning how to ride and not sure of what to do with your hands, the list goes on.  There are all sorts of good and very valid reasons to ride bitless.  If I was in another discipline, I’d probably use them exclusively.  I did use them exclusively back when I was doing CT and jumping. 

But I don’t use them for training my own, personal animals as much anymore, and this is the reason why.

Totally agree well said! People need to stick to what they know, they obviously don't know a great deal to make harsh comments about our discipline! I personally have never made any comment in regards to dressage or jumping or racing etc lost goes on! because I understand that's how the horses are required to travel and preform....

I am so tired of people bashing western pleasure and halter horses. OMG they go too slow! OMG that horse has so much muscle, it looks like a beef cow!

Every discipline requires a certain type of horse. Dressage wants uphill horses, western pleasure wants horses that can naturally...
