We've had the idea of bringing some extra players and live strings on stage for a little while now. So excited for the opportunity to finally make it happen! It’s so easy to lose yourself out here, in the best ways imaginable

I’ve been thinking about how we all got to where we are. The incredible amount of things that occurred for that to happen is something that's always been amazing to me. Honestly, I find it inspiring. Kind of like how a complete stranger can share some of the deepest parts of their life with me just minutes after meeting. The fact that human beings can still open themselves up to be so vulnerable. Sometimes I can forget just how much we all affect each other. So what are the days, and weeks, and years "supposed" to look like? I couldn’t tell you, mostly I try to capture moving pictures in the form of sounds. I’ve been allowed to do this for a lot of my life now, and I say “allowed” with much appreciation. It’s something I get the pleasure of experiencing on a daily basis and reminds me constantly of all the things I wish to keep finding.

I just wanted to quickly say, on as personal a level as I could over the internet, thank you for continuing to actively change the course of one person's life. Which I’m sure you didn’t even know was happening, and even more a part of the beauty.

Lydia is currently writing & going to record our new album in a few months and I genuinely can’t wait to share more of this crazy planet with you all. This one already feels special...

Leighton here, I wanted to fill you guys in on what Lydia has been up to the past few months and what is to come! So, for basically the past year we have been busy writing AND recording our new record. It was honestly one of the best songwriting experiences that I had the pleasure to be apart of. After kicking around a couple dozen songs and ideas we ended up tracking half of the record at home in Arizona and half of it in Florida. The combination of all of the people we went through this process with, all of the songs that made the cut, and everything else that came together for this new Lydia record - I can say it's been totally unreal. It is truly something I'm going to have a very hard time waiting to share with you all!! That being said, we are getting ready to head out on the road again - starting in just one week! Our tour kicks off with a handful of headlining dates this May - the first ones as early as next week! We are really looking forward to a special performance at Big Guava in Tampa, FL - we're playing the second date of the festival alongside headliners The Strokes, Pixies, and Hozier to name a few! Pretty wild, it's going to be a good one. Then, we have a slew of dates on a full US tour as direct support for The Early November. That tour takes us to some cities we haven't visited in ages which will be a lot of fun. We're stoked to have a couple of headlining gigs sprinkled in the mix of the tour as well! We will be playing a NEW SONG off the upcoming album during our set on this run - so come out to one of the shows for a little tease of the record! It's been over a year since we've toured the US and Canada. That is way too long without seeing all of your faces! We absolutely cannot wait - we hope to see you at one of these upcoming shows!
