This is why you can't trust the information from these 'supporters', because once again, why do they have relationships with Cooper and Payton Koch? Why are the celebrating the birthday of an actor in a TV Show. A TV show that goes against the very people you're supposed to be supporting. But this isn't the first time that this account has done this, they're supported by Rand, by the wives, Talia, AnaMaria etc. This is why they never call out anyone close to the brothers. Remember when they made that ridiculous Father's Day post for Talia.

If you are the supporter of the brothers, then you have to come to terms with their wounding and the people that they've let into their lives. Why are you posting about mental health and then supporting destructive, coercive relationships? Why do you support bullies who doxx teens and threaten legal action? Why do you support someone who turned a blind eye when her own daughter was being abused?

I really think that people don't know what activism actually is. Saying a few words isn't activism, actually doing the work is activism. But people praise Cooper for the barest of minimums. I remember at the Golden Globes, he donated a measly $1000 to their defense and everyone acted like he donated a million dollars. It's insane how this grifter can get away with doing nothing. Seriously, this guy is Hollywood royalty, and we're praising him for $1000, get fucked.

I have no issues with accounts sharing content etc, however if you're standing against bullying and claim to be a mental health advocate, then walk the damn walk. True advocacy is taking hard positions, when everyone is against you. But you know, morals count for something.

This is supposed to be a Menendez Brothers support account, that continues to go out it's way to support bullies like Tammi and Talia and people like Cooper who were involved in what a consider to be an orchestrated smear campaign against the brothers. I've gone into this a lot in this blog about Monsters, but why is this account only supporting Cooper? I mean Chloe and Javier were also nominated, why don't they get a post? Because Cooper said that he supported the brothers in the most tepid way. I will say this once, if these accounts support Monsters or anyone associated with Monsters then they don't support the brothers. They just don't. I don't care how many Chat GPT posts they do about parole, they're not supporters. These people aren't activists, they stand for absolutely nothing and they only support what's trendy.

A man who joked about his penis when talking about a sexual abuse victim. A man who had zero issues with playing into tropes of prison sexual violence that occurs regularly and doesn't get reported. Erik even said in Erik Tells All, that he heard inmates getting raped. But sure, lets make jokes. Lets get oiled up the shower and then make make slapstick jokes about a childhood injury that was probably caused by oral sex.

Cooper has never once apologized for the depiction of Erik or Lyle in Monsters. He's never once spoken about prison reform in a meaningful way. He's never spoken once about recidivism, poverty, the cycle of abuse. If he had any morals at all, he would have taken himself out of contention, but like everyone in Hollywood his narcissism needs to be seen. I guess he's being an activism wearing Ralph Lauren and going to fashion shows, my mistake.

What an absolute clown this man is. Of course he makes his nomination all about himself and his humble brag about going to Wimbleton. How convenient that Lyle just happened to call, just as the interview was about to begin. This is stage managed at all.

Also you've only known the brothers for like 8 months, and already you're acting like family. Talk about a lack of boundaries. I will remind everyone that Cooper hangs out with Tammi and Talia, two people who bully and dox people. This guy only ever uses the brothers to gain clout and publicity.

Now I have issues with Javier Bardem and the way he approached this project, but he spent the entire F1 press tour talking about the Palestinian genocide. That is how you get your message. But Cooper is way too self involved to speak about this prison, or prison reform in any meaningful way. The guy has had months to get educated and he doesn't care. He only cares about himself and his career. An absolute fraud.

Here's an idea, why don't not we not support actors who take roles in shows that go out of their way to malign the person who you're supposed to love. Why are Rand and Rebecca so supportive of Cooper? He's done zero activism, he only brings up Erik when it's convenient for him and the rest of the time he's off doing fashion shows and other influencer events. No shade, but I would much rather he stayed silent since his 'activism' is so shallow and he doesn't know what he's talking about. A reminder that he only visited the brothers due to damage control, with Kim Kardashian, who is friends with Ryan Murphy. He only brings up the brothers when it's advantageous for him. This guy couldn't even call out his co-star Nicholas when he said something inaccurate. But according to Reddit, the brothers will be strolling along the red carpet with him. Give me a break. Yes, we really want the brothers on the red carpet, in an industry that covers for pedophiles and sex pests. Not to mention the PTSD that they'd have being in a large crowd.

Luckily Monsters won't win, against Adolescence and rightfully so.

But I am not supporting a person, who participated in a show that showed Erik, a victim of sexual assault getting nude in the shower in prison where sexual violence is extremely prevalent and a show that made light of a childhood injury that Erik got performing sex acts on his dad.

Btw Edie Falco was nominated in 2018 for her role in Law and Order and I didn't see any articles where Lyle and Erik congratulated her or that the actors spoke to the brothers when the show was far more accurate. And it was based off of Rand's book.

Rand is defending Scott Peterson again...for God knows what reason. Scott Peterson is guilty beyond a reasonable doubt, and this nonsense is funded by the Peterson family to further inflict pain on the victim, Laci Peterson. You know, the pregnant woman who cruely murdered because Scott didn't want to be a dad and wanted to keep having a fling with his mistress. There is no 'new evidence', this is like at the beginning of the trial when Geragos said that Laci was slain by a Satanic cult and that they had witnesses who saw Laci after she was murdered. None of this came to pass. Scott has been trying for 20 years to suggest that Connor's due date was later and that Laci was murdered after the child was born. All of this is nonsense and noise to make the public believe that Scott was railroaded by corrupt police that didn't follow leads, that did not happen. All the leads came back to Scott, because you're most likely to be murdered by someone that you know.

Rand has to stop equating this case to the Menendez case. Not once has Scott Peterson ever shown any type of remorse. Not once was he helpful, in fact he tried to hinder the case. Laci Peterson was murdered when she was at her most vulnerable and we cannot forgot that.

I've been a longtime lurker of the subreddits, going all the way back to right before Monsters was released. It was one of my main ways to learn about the case and keep up with updates about the brothers.

Something definitely shifted over time, because I don't remember it ever being this bad several months ago. I started posting on the fair sub just to get enough karma to contribute on the main one, but honestly, I've lost interest. I don't mind hearing pro-prosecution opinions, but all of them border on troll territory—like the woman who yells at everyone for being obsessed with the case while she's super active on three subreddits about it, or the guy who only pops up to white knight for Donovan Goodreau with weak theories that contradict each other—like claiming Goodreau fed Rand the lies Lyle supposedly told him to say, but also insisting he never mentioned the abuse to Rand at all. Both can’t be true.

Now I’m seeing people trying to justify the group showers as just being "European" and brushing off those photos, which are clearly evidence of sexual abuse. There are just too many red flags, even with some of the pro-defense members, and honestly, it’s best to just avoid it.

I truly believe that they're trolls, especially after hearing what Geragos said at the resentancing about the sock puppet accounts on X. I don't think that it's a coincidence that these accounts showed up, just when the brothers are getting support.

The issue I have with the prosecution talking points, is that they've been debunked so thoroughly during the trial. Like are we really going into the old, they murdered for money narrative, when the prosecution didn't even use it in their closing argument. It's really pathetic at this point. That's why, and this is my own personal belief that I'm not going to try and convince anyone anymore. The information is out there for those who wants it, and I think it says it all when the sources that they're using come from Blood Brothers and Norma. I am going to do a post about reading sources, and how to read media when I get the time to go into properly.

I cannot for the life of me understand why anyone would defend the so called friends who testified against the brothers. So let me get this straight, Robert Rand coerced Donovan for information that he didn't know at the time, because he wanted to expose Donovan during the trial. Like do they realize how stupid they sound? These guys were cashing in on their 15 minutes and talking to everyone. How is it Rand's fault that Donovan didn't say this was off the record. Not to mention that Donovan was shady even before that. It's like people who defend Jamie or Kitty, why?

I can't speak for everyone, but coming from a European background, no we do all shower together. Maybe when people lived in a village in a communal bathhouse, but certainly not in a large home when your children are grown. I swear, some people will jump through hoops to excuse abuse. How do they describe those nude pictures? Oh a child took them, a child took clear images of another child's genitals. It's absurd.

I really think that if these subs allowed for open conversation about coercive control and female abuse, these subs wouldn't have happened.

People wonder why Erik and Lyle are so trusting of others, especially individuals who we, from the outside can see are shady. We need to put ourselves in their shoes, imagine going through a lifetime of shame abuse, only to kill your abuser. Then your entire life is put on trial, and dissected for the world. You then, bravely take the stand, and instead of being heard are ridiculed and mocked. Wouldn’t you reach out to anyone who’d listen?

I don't understand how people don't get why this community is the way it is right now. When you start censoring speech, people will look for other avenues of expression, these spaces will give rise to more extreme views and then suddenly you're overtaken with the loudest voices. I don't engage with these people because it's pointless. However both Reddit subs censored any talk about the wives, so now while I like getting an insight into communities that I would never pay for, the price is pro prosecution conspiracy theories.

What do we do? The main issue here, is that these people probably aren't even people to begin with. I am willing to bet that they're bots created to cause discord within the community. Personally, I'm not going to fight faceless people.

I think we also need to look into the very real parasocial relationships that have been fostered by these exclusive groups. What should have happened, was the family should have set up a website for updates and then people could have donated to the cause. I highly doubt that Erik or Lyle are getting any of the money that is being 'donated' in their name. If the family are reading this, highly doubtful, please delete these groups and create an official account or website. That way you're in control of the narrative.

It's so funny, because everything is there in the trial. So these people can call the brothers sociopaths or manipulative etc. It doesn't matter, because it was never proven in the trial. They forget that the defense used actual experts who proved their case. If they were so guilty, then why did Weisberg feel the need to limit the evidence in the second trial?

Something for the prosecution lovers to ponder.

Classic narcissism once again from Rebecca. Notice how she is always the victim, no matter what the situation, zero accountability for her own actions. Also nice mask slip with thanking people for the money, like we didn't know that, that was her prime objective here. Just to be clear, I was one of the first people to notice this behaivour from her twitter account, and I wrote about it in my blog. I have always felt that both brothers married versions of their mother, since they both have unhealed trauma. My hypothesis has always been, that Rebecca got him at his lowest moment, and didn't let go. She was obsessed with him for 10 years before they got married. I know that she said that they lost touch and then reconnected, but by her own statements she contradicts herself constantly.

Btw, it's been months and no one has called her out for facilitating underage and barely legal for Lyle to communicate with. Care to share about that Rebecca, people's birthday's are in this profile. It's not that hard to assess.

She's absolutely right, Erik has a lot of emotional empathy for others, which he doesn't have for himself. Knowing what we know about what Erik does in prison, it seems that Leslie was and is the person who knew him the best besides Lyle. She loved him for who he was as a person, and didn't project onto him her own expectations. She really was the mother he never had.

On This Day: July 2, 1996

Lyle and Erik Menendez are sentenced to Live in Prison, without the possibility of Parole.

Seven years after they shotgunned their parents to death in the family's Beverly Hills mansion, Lyle and Erik Menendez were sentenced yesterday to life in prison without parole.

Superior Court Judge Stanley Weisberg gave each brother two consecutive life terms, saying they carefully weighed the decision to kill.

"This was a decision made over several days," he said. "These were separate acts of violence, separate considerations by the defendants."

Judge Weisberg had no choice but life without parole. The only other punishment for murder is execution, which the judge could not impose because the jury recommended against it.

Erik, 26, and Lyle, 28, showed no reaction, and in the hushed courtroom their relatives and friends remained silent, but in the hall later, family members burst into tears.

Prosecutor David Conn said he was pleased with the sentences. He said the consecutive terms -- the judge had the option of imposing concurrent sentences -- served as a symbolic statement against the horrors of the killings.
