A love that breaks.

The door locks with a heavy click behind you.

You turn,and there’s Joe.

Not smiling. Not faking kindness anymore.

His usually soft eyes,are flat now,unreadable...like he’s already somewhere else in his head.

"You lied" he says. His voice is even. Too even.

"I didn’t want this. You made me." he continues, after a short pause.

You step back don’t even meaning to. Your body reacts before your mind can catch it.

Joe notices. His jaw tightens.

"You’re scared of me," he says quietly "After everything I did for you... you’re scared of me?"

"No, Joe," you breathe, forcing a smile that feels like it might crack your face in half. "But right now... you're looking at me as if I were a stranger."

He laughs...a hollow, broken sound.

"Because you already are."

He moves fast.

One second you’re standing there, the next his hand is wrapped around your throat: not squeezing yet, just holding, almost like a promise.

"Shh" Joe whispers. "It’s better this way. You don’t have to be afraid anymore"

You feel your heart thundering against your ribs.

You know he’s too far gone to reason with,but you try anyway.

"I love you, Joe" you say. "I never stopped."

For the first time, something flickers in his eyes;doubt, pain.

He loosens his grip just slightly.

You take your chance, reaching up with trembling fingers to gently touch his face.

"You saved me," you whisper, voice breaking. "You were the only one who ever really saw me." you actually just want to run away, you regret not realizing who he was sooner. But do you think, would yelling at him do any good?

Joe’s breathing shudders. His hands shake.

He leans his forehead against yours.

"I just wanted you to stay" he whispers, almost childlike.

You nod, tears spilling freely now.

"I’m staying. I promise. I’m yours."

For one suspended, awful moment — you believe you might have reached him.

But Joe is Joe.

And this Joe is broken,too broken.

His hand tightens again,fast and reflexive.

And he whispers against your skin:

"If I can’t have you the way you were supposed to be... maybe it’s better this way"

His hand still grips your throat, the pressure steady and unwavering. He’s not yelling. He’s not screaming. But there’s something about his stillness that scares you even more.

"I tried, you know," Joe mutters, his voice low, as if trying to convince himself. "I really did. I wanted this to be perfect. I wanted us to be perfect."

You open your mouth to speak, but the words feel useless...

You try to soften your expression, to calm him. "Joe, please..." you whisper, your voice trembling. "I love you. you know I do."

But there’s no warmth in his eyes now. There’s only the cold, haunting look of someone who’s already made their decision.

Joe’s lips curl into a twisted, almost mournful smile. "I loved you too," he says softly, his voice cracking as he pulls you closer, like he’s holding on to something slipping away from him. "But you made me... you made me do this."

In that instant, the grip around your throat tightens again, this time with finality. It’s not a reflex anymore. It’s a decision. His decision.

You can’t breathe. The panic claws at your chest, and everything inside you screams for air, for him to stop. But he doesn’t stop.

His voice is soft, almost gentle, as if he was tucking you into bed. "You’ll be safe. You won’t ever leave me. You will always be remembered" His words are haunting, coated in love and madness. "I’ll make sure of that."

Do you know what’s worse than yan fused Zamasu?

Yan infinite Zamasu

But like- imagine reader, just trying to survive in this post-apocalyptic world, and then hundreds of fused Zamasu’s descend from the sky and kidnap them lol. They make utopia and then just sorta all chill in little cabins and force reader into basically becoming their loyal devotee

And then you have the anime’s infinite Zamasu, which is even worse because he can actually manipulate everything and anything he wants at any point. He wouldn’t need a mere dragon to now make reader immortal, and there would be no fleeing him because he is literally everywhere all at once

At least Bardock is sane enough to not put reader through some horrific shit, he probably wouldn’t even stray as far as to kidnap them unless he truly feels they’re in danger. There isn’t even room to compare! Though I’d imagine Bardock would get worse if he acquired Super Saiyan form because now he can better protect reader and they shouldn’t leave his side (though he’d probably accidentally trick reader into staying close rather than kidnap them)

Exactly, I really believe that once the reader is also deprived of their only chance of escape (at this point,death) there really would be nothing left to do...you also want to think about how bad it must be to know that the same guy who killed literally EVERYONE on earth is not killing you? I think that in a certain sense the reader would also feel a sort of guilt,but at the same time I don't think they would be able to think about it too much because if we're talking about infinite zamasu the thing would be just truly horrific...it's essentially you not having a minimum of personal space because wherever you go he is always there lol. But when I say I think it would be horrific i really mean it,and to be honest I think he is literally one of the worst yanderes that could ever being interested in you.

As for Bardock,I agree that there is absolutely no comparison,like yes maybe obviously he wouldn't be the healthiest,but do you really want to compare him to infinite zamasu? nahh.

But yeah,I actually think if he became a super saiyan he would intensify a little,and I agree that he wouldn't kidnap the reader (unless something serious happens to them, like someone SERIOUSLY hurting them) At that point there is a serious risk that he could snap, because apparently he misunderstood the thing:you just showed him what he feared most,you are unable to ensure your own safety so you MUST have his protection.

The basic difference between the two is that while Bardock genuinely wants to protect you,and therefore wouldn't dream of putting you through anything traumatic,for Zamasu you are a less impure human,yeah, but you are still human. A human that he is mercifully taking charge of reforming,to remove that impurity that living with those disgusting humans has given you. So it doesn't matter what he has to put you through, what matters is that in the end, when he has reformed you (basically brainwashed you) you will be worthy of living 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 in his utopia.

just like you said in the tags if they merge it will be quite a nightmare (loving your description about black goku and zamasu as yandere,just like I think they would be)

I totally agree with you, like think of the worst nightmare you could ever face...well, fused zamasu can (and would) definitely do worse. At the end of the day he'll break you so fast you won't even notice.

Yan Bardock: trying to at least be somewhat kind to reader, overall giving them lots of freedom (still not a lot, mind you, he’s still a toxic yandere) and ‘spoiling’ them when he can

Yan Zamasu: insane, kidnaps reader out of absolutely fucking nowhere, preaches about their ‘divine nature’ and how humanity has corrupted them, basically on a mission to ‘cleanse’ reader of their sins, also spoils them, but way more forcefully, absolutely terrifying

Yan Fused Zamasu: about to make his other counterparts look sane and completely rational compared to him

LITERALLY LIKE THAT. Fused Zamasu would be a literal nightmare,and fun fact? you would have no escape because once their utopia is built,you are literally the last human alive on earth. Same exact thing with Zamasu,I think this awareness alone would be enough to mentally break you,and maybe with time you might even end up being successfully brainwashed (which would actually be one of the best scenarios for you,because I think once brainwashed Zamasu would treat you slightly better). Fusion Zamasu is worse because he is like 100 times more intense in everything,so you couldn't stand Zamasu? oh. good luck dealing with his merged version

In the end Bardock would really be the best of the three,because he wouldn't try to brainwash you in any way (at least intentionally),and as I said before, in his mind he just wants to make sure that no one takes advantage of you (still very toxic, but compared to Fused Zamasu he seems almost healthy lol)

Yandere Bardock sounds so cool! It’s a shame not many people write him lol! I would, but I haven’t seen either of his movies fully yet :/

I’m also on the hunt for Yandere Zamasu and Goku Black stuff because they are some of my absolute favorite villains in the shows!

I KNOW. I really think Bardock would be almost gentle with you (in comparison to other yandere) cause of course yeah,he wouldnt be romantic or things like that,I think rather that his would be more of a desire to protect you cause in his conception you are weak, and without him with all the dangers that there are in the world someone else would surely take advantage of you.

Completely different speech for Yandere Zamasu or Goku Black...I honestly feel the same way about them,but I think it's undeniable that they would be SCARY.

Think about what it would be like if your friends and family were suddenly all killed, with the perpetrators kidnapping you and babbling something about how "You are better than those mortals,you are not like them,being with them has only corrupted you"

Between the two,if you ask me,I also think that Goku Black would surely be worse:more provocative,clingy,arrogant and lascivious
