drawing lilies as a sign of purity - N0.1 Drawing, Knowledge & Prayer

I started drawing lilies today. I haven't actively drawn for a few years now and today was my first time drawing with coloured pencils. (I just have been starting to use them so I will show you the drawing when I am a bit more continuous in my progress.

In Christianity, lilies symbolise purity, the Virgin Mary and are associated with the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

I have decided to paint them because purity is very important to me. As I'm still young (teenager) there are certainly people who think I'm crazy, but I want to wait until marriage to have sex. It is a personal and important decision for myself that I have made of my own free will for myself, God and our relationship with each other. However, this is a topic that I would like to address again in another post.

I hope you will like it and I will continue to show you my process. But here you can see my sketch for now:

We are also able to create marvellous things with creativity, talent and the opportunity to learn. We can create masterpieces by drawing, painting, making pottery, singing. We are created by God and we too can create small things that are unimportant to others, but which can mean so much more to us.

Just as these lilies represent purity for me and in Christianity.

In the name of Jesus, I ask you, Father, our Creator, to protect people, put them on the right path, free them from their sins. Give them knowledge, love, hope and faith.

Let them create themselves, let them see you in their works of art. For Father, you are everywhere, in every human being and animal, in every plant and every tiny molecule. Father, you are with us, keep us and protect us.

talking about how i found to God (he literally healed me) - N0.3 Faith

Today I would like to talk about how I managed to find God.

I already talked in my 1st post about the reasons why I found God and what he changed in my life.

All of this happened after the end of a toxic situationship. As I mentioned before, I was treated badly. However, I no longer want to dwell on the past so I won't go into more detail.

I started to look more into my religion, which I had never believed in before.

After about six months I met a boy who was very Christian. He motivated me to start praying (without telling me, he was just there and I started to pray, he was really sent by God) and I began to deal with the topic of "sins". I started to try to fight my sins and at some point I even dared to kneel down and pray before God.

One night I let all my problems, fears and trauma fall from my shoulders. I cried harder than I have ever cried before, I asked for God's help AND GOD CAME AND HELPED ME!!!! I have changed so much in the last few months, I have stopped my self-harm, my self-hatred, I got rid of my excess weight, I raised my romantic standards again, I got rid of several sins. I even bought my first Bible last year, pray almost daily, read my Bible and can now say that I love God!!!!

I can tell you, and I believe it 100%!!!

GOD LIVES, GOD SAVES, GOD WILL COME!!!

Finally stop living lukewarm for God. Pray, ask for forgiveness, give thanks, love, charity, forgive, believe!

God lives, God will come, sooner or later. Stop talking up your sins and start changing something!

God loves you! God is with you! God sees everything! God will come and help you!

Ask God to help you. Tell him about all your sins, your problems, the things that weigh you down, even if they are only the smallest ones. Ask God to forgive you, to take the burden off your shoulders and to help you!

God is great and strong, he has fought the devil and so can you!

Little Prayer

Our Father in heaven, I ask you to help these people reading this post to understand how great and powerful you are, how important it is to communicate with you, to pray, to sing. Father bring the truth into their hearts, bring peace and healing so that these people can also live in peace with you by their side. For only through you can we find true peace, for you are the beginning and the end, the alpha and the omega, you are the light, the truth and the salvation!

talking about persecution of Christians - N0.2 Faith

Greetings my Christians friends, I would like to tell you something about the persecution of Christians.

According to Google, around 365 million people are currently being persecuted and discriminated against to a great extent because of their faith in our one true God.

I would like to make it very clear that we should pray for all the people who do not have the privilege of living in peace, without fear and persecution. Because they are our brothers and sisters. Our bond lies in our faith and that is why we should remember the people who do not have it so easy.

Now to my little story:

I am part of a small group of friends with three other girls and we sat together the other day and talked about this topic with a few other friends. (It's worth mentioning that a few people in this conversation are also Christian).

They said to me that they would just say that they don't believe in God, they would change their religion if they got into a situation where they were threatened to be killed if they didn't convert to another religion.

In this conversation, however, I came to a different opinion. I didn't dare to say it out loud, and I regret that. But if I were in such a situation, I wouldn't renounce my faith. And neither do many other people on this earth. I know I might not be able to speak for myself, thank God I've never been in a situation where I was persecuted and discriminated against because of my faith, but in my current situation I couldn't imagine simply renouncing my faith.

Because wouldn't that be a kind of betrayal? I don't judge anyone who has been in such a situation and abandoned their faith because they were afraid and wanted to live. And who knows, maybe I would act the same way in this situation. But from my position, I would rather die in my faith than live for another faith.

John 15:18 "If the world hates you, know that it hated me before it hated you" and "Therefore I am of good cheer in weakness, in trials, in distresses, in persecutions, and in anguish for Christ's sake; for when I am weak, then am I strong" in 2 Corinthians 12:10 also fit in with this theme and I think that these Bible verses also show us once again that even if we live in fear and feel weak, we are not weak at all. Because God lives in us, he loves us, he is with us and he makes us strong.

I may not have the right to write about this topic or think about what it would be like if I were in such a situation. But this conversation with my friends has been on my mind and I've been thinking about it and I‘m just a teenager but I'd like to know what other people think about it.

I'm sorry if this post is inappropriate. I mean no offence.

Nevertheless, I would like to pray for all the people who really have it so hard, who are really discriminated against and who are really persecuted and killed.

Little Prayer

Father in heaven, I ask you to look after all the people who need your help, who are treated badly and have to die because of their faith. Father keep and protect them and bring all your love into their lives, all your hope and give them trust in you. Many evil things happen in this world but we know that this is not your will. Human is bad and human does things that are not right. I am firmly convinced that if all people lived according to your word, our world would be more peaceful. And so I ask you Father, speak your word to the unbelievers, the sinners, those who do wrong to other people and bring your love into our world. Our Father in heaven be with the people who cry out your name, who need your help, who weep and with those who quietly deal with their problems and fears.

Our Father in heaven, thank you that you have heard my prayer and will do your work.

talking about gods healing strength in my life - N0.1 Faith

Good afternoon my Christian friends. This is my first blog post and I would love to pray for you.

But first I would like to introduce myself:

My name is Leonie, I am a teenager who still lives with many sins, worries and fears. That's why I don't want to judge or hurt anyone on my blog.

Briefly about my story: I grew up in a small village in a beautiful country, with my loving and Christian family. We were never a strongly Christian family, but my family were all believers. I was never someone who believed in God or anything supernatural.

After being in a toxic situationship 2 years ago that went on for about a year, I found God. (The boy manipulated me, stood me up several times, told me lies, slept with other girls, ...).

God saved me. From this boy and also from myself.

I struggled with self-harm, self-hatred, obesity, eating disorders, bad grades, procrastination, anxiety, sometimes panic attacks and much more.

I haven't been to therapy once in my life. Because I tell you that I believe with every fibre of my being that God saved me! That he set me free and showered me with all his love so much that I was allowed to heal!

I am alive again, I am happy again, I have joy in my life again. All my problems have disappeared.

God has lifted all my burdens.

After we have found God, he will no longer remember all the sins we have committed before our life with God, as it says in the Bible in Hebrews 8:12 "For I will forgive their wickedness and will remember their sins no more."

Jesus died for our sins. Jesus died for YOUR sins. Live your life for him.

For God himself gave his own Son for us, that our sins might be forgiven as long as we repent.

I would like to pray for everyone who reads this blog entry and also for all the other people on earth.

Little Prayer

Our Father in heaven, I ask you to bring all the love and hope and faith and fulfilment into the lives of all the people in this world! Bring all these miracles into their lives, heal them and help them to trust in you, to believe in you, to live with you by their side and in their hearts.

Give them strength to deal with their problems and allow them to suffer from their spiritual wounds.

I ask you, almighty Father in heaven, Lord, protect every person in this world and bring reflection into the lives of people who do not believe in you and live for you.

Our Father in heaven. I thank you that you have heard my prayer and will do your works.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.
