Well, it's been a while.
Things in my head have been messy lately, some things have changed very dramatically since the last blog post here.
I'm not 160 pounds anymore, I usually hover between 125/130.
Justin and I have not only Andrea, but also Sophia now. Two beautiful and loved baby girls ♥

Diet blog, day nine! (Thanksgiving!)
Today was hard! So much good food!
We cooked pretty healthy this year. Though we had stuffing and rolls, i didn't have any. what I did break down and have, was a few bites of apple pie. it was delicious and I don't regret it one bit!
I think I'm doing this on my own now. Justin doesn't seem to want to do it at all, and I don't want to force him into anything he doesn't want to do. so that's fine.
We had some ham, and prime rib for dinner. with peas and perl onions, and sweet potatoes! yummy!
time for some warcraft! (:

Diet blog, day six!
Things are still going really well!
The cravings for sweets and coffee have still not gone away. Though i have discovered an instant coffee that doesn't taste to bad black, and I enjoyed a cup of that the day before yesterday. I think I'm going to make myself another cup here in a few minutes. My daughter is down for her afternoon nap and I need to get cleaning.
One thing that I've really noticed, is how lazy I've been feeling the last few days. That very well could be because of the way I'm eating, or just about any other thing going on in my life right now. Maybe I need to try eating more, so I have more energy? I don't know. I know it seems ironic, but I have a hard time eating those 3 square meals a day. I always have my breakfast milkshake in the morning, it tastes just fine, but It still takes me a while to finish it. Then I basically just forget to eat until it's later at night and Justin is telling me that he's hungry.
He has been complaining quite a bit about this whole thing, asking me if we can have this or that, and it's really not very helpful at all. If he would just stop thinking of eating as something to do for fun, I think he would be having a much easier time with all of it. But he just loves to graze! He just eats and munches and snacks on anything that's in the kitchen, and in my opinion, he eats way to much. We bought a container of Orange-Banana juice yesterday. I had one glass (That he drank from too) and the rest he finished. In one day. Why? Why? Why? What's wrong with drinking water? Or tea for that mater? I don't have any problem saying no to doing these things whatsoever, and I just wish I understood what he's thinking when he gorges himself like this. I need to figure out a way to talk to him, without me seeming to be against him. But at the same time, he is a very tall, big man and I don't want him starving, obviously. I don't know how much he is supposed to be eating in the first place. So I suppose I have no place to talk.
I don't feel like I've lost an weight, though i don't know for sure because I don't own a scale. D: I do feel a lot less bloated though. I don't feel like a big blimp floating through space like I used to. The only thing I really have to complain about is my lack of motivation. Before I started my diet I would usually have either a coffee or an energy drink 2 out of 3 days. If I have a problem being addicted to something, it's caffeine. Even though I've discovered that I can have my normal total zero Red Bull without cutting any corners, I still feel like that's kind of a treat. I don't know why, but I still feel like it's not healthy at all for me to have. So I'm going to stick with my cup of black coffee I'm going to make here after I finish the last of my shake from this morning.
I have to get my little brother Ajay off the bus today at 3, and I want to get the living room cleaned up and vacuumed, and the dishes done before he gets here so I don't have to worry about it later. And right now, I'm wasting my time blogging! Haha.
catch ya later!

Diet blog, day three!
Today was a good day!
I tried a new recipe with our morning protein milkshakes. I used a fruit medely instead of a berry mix, and coconut milk rather than cranberry juice. I thought it was rather tasty! No better or worse than the berries though.
We also did a little shopping today, I found some chicken sausage that fits the guidelines today. I was pretty excited! Its going to be great for breakfast tomorrow. We did a little produce shopping too, I made salsa and got some delicious hummus and dipping veggies to go along. Its still to be determined if my salsa is fit for human consumption. Haha.
I got myself some coffee today too, regular black coffee, and I added a splash of coconut milk. It wasn't a white mocha, but it was what I was craving!
I've held back on all the other cravings I've had. Mountain dew, Starbucks, corn dogs... Lol.
I just made myself a pre-gaming snack of a banana, tangerine and a handful of cut in half grapes. I'm going to go get my WoW on!
See you tomorrow!

Diet Blog, day two!
Today is day two!
I'm feeling good! I've eaten two meals and a snack so far today, still waiting on dinner. On top of not eating the no-no foods, I'm also trying to up my water intake. Yesterday and the day before I could only drink one of my bottles of water, as of now I'm on my second one for the day. I like to put fresh fruit and Felids of Flowers in my water.
I don't feel hungry, which I'm surprised about. I thought for sure that the first week or so I would be starving to death. Haha. I can't get enough avocado! I love it! I mix it with my quinoa, and I think it's just the bees knees.
The only cravings I've really had problems with (so far, lol), is coffee. Well, a white mocha from Starbucks, with an extra shot of espresso, a pump of hazelnut, and no whip. I would kill for one.
Still glad to be doing it. (:

Diet Blog, prep day! (from last Sunday)
My Name is Lizzie(:
I’m participating in removing 7 foods from my diet for 21, and possibly 30 days, providing I can stick it out.
These foods include:
1) Gluten
2) Dairy
3) Eggs
4) Soy
5) Corn
6) Peanuts
7) Sugar & Artificial Sweeteners.
I am a 22 year old mother of an 8 month old beautiful daughter, 5 foot 4 inches and around 160 pounds. My boyfriend Justin and I will be doing this together. Today I was presented the information of the program, and started cleaning out my pantry. I read the ingredient labels on the back of all the boxes of rice, pasta, hamburger helper type dinners, and so on. Either I threw them out, or put them high on the top shelf. (Out of sight, out of mind. Right?) We are taking a few days to prepare for cutting these foods out of our diets. Today is a Sunday, and we will be starting on Wednesday. We are starting to try these new foods we will be enjoying and slowly be replacing our meals with them over the next few days.
We went shopping at Costco today and purchased frozen chicken breasts, brussel sprouts, snap peas, quinoa, concentrated cranberry water and a few other fruits, vegetables, and a little bit of nitrate-free black forest ham.
Being a single income, 3 person family, we are doing this on a pretty strict budget.
My goals for the next month or so are:
1) To drop to
a healthier weight.
2) To explore and experience a new style of eating.
3) To learn how to feed my body in a more natural way.
4) To discover any food allergies I may have.
Lets give this a try!
T-Minus 3 days to launch!

^ That's me.
