Hello everyone! It's Meow (again)

Every series or movie usually has a deep meaning about something specific, and I always thought Miraculous: The Adventures of Ladybug and Chat Noir was about love, and I think it's a nice month to mention this word, but love in a general sense.

Love is beautiful, but beauty is subjective. Because love is so broad that it encompasses all shades, from white to black.

That's why I think Miraculous: Ladybug and Chat Noir is about love, because in every plot, from the villain to the heroes, and in every character's subplots, there is love, there are conflicts about love. And this is more in line with the translations of the Ladybug song from the PV. Although they've said it was just nonsense, I liked one of the lines they translated: "Giving love has turned bad."

Some have tried to theorize, despite Thomas' confirmation (as always), that Chat Noir (PV) sings this song to Ladybug (PV) because of the many rejections she's suffered. And for my part, I don't like limiting love to romance (much less limiting Marinette to that) because it narrows our vision too much. I thought about this line from a broader perspective.

Taking advantage of the fact that we're in this beautiful Pride Month and with this beautiful couple, which unfortunately meant I wanted to draw all the characters who are possibly canonically part of the community, but my life isn't that accessible over time, and I wanted to take more advantage of this line that has captivated me. Because love was never classified as good or bad. In fact, its first definition is "an intense feeling of the human being that, starting from its own inadequacy, needs and seeks encounter and union with another being." We have characterized it in a certain way (is that bad? No), and living in the society we live in today, there are times when that phrase comes back to me and I wonder: "When did giving love become bad?"

However, religious people believe that love is having faith, and that faith, that love, has helped millions of people today have the right to love whoever they want. Perhaps we haven't yet made progress in discrimination as a society, and there will be times of relapse like now, but if you have been able to resist through love (because love is also resistance and rebellion), you will always be able to.

I'm very frustrated with producers, character designers or whatever.

Why has Adrien Agreste's outfit never changed? I understand why they've kept the same outfit for five seasons, but even now there hasn't been anything. Not even in the concept art.

He's a dress-up doll! And it's horrible to call her that because, to Gabriel, she's nothing more than an object. But it makes sense; she's always been shown to us, or promoted by Gabriel's company, as a doll you can dress and articulate however you want. Gosh, Gabriel does that if you think about it! Although I just want to say that I'm glad she's a character who, no matter what color or clothes she wears, is always beautiful, it's also a beautiful narrative about the abuse she suffers, her lack of identity, and how all the "fans" can have that tendency to do whatever they want with her. We also see it, for example, with the Alliance Rings, where anyone can dress Adrien up however they want. (Gabriel, you are a lunatic)

Oh! As for the clothes in this drawing and the previous one (if you haven't seen them, check them out), as you can see, they're very different from what he wears in the series. I wanted to give him a modern and attractive touch, because I think that's the idea behind his aesthetic. Overall, the color makes him attractive, sweet, and gives the impression of being a sweet guy. It wasn't a crazy strategy, but the color palette of his skin and hair gives him that touch (and especially his eyes).

I want to capture the character, delve into him, explore him, and, in that way, love him (It is only an interpretation towards the person). It's my way of loving characters.❤

¡Hi Guys! I'am Meow

This is my first interaction with the fandom 👉👈 but I know the series from its Ladybug PV trailer, but I lost track and in 2024 I watched it again with my best friend.

(It's also my first time posting on Tumblr but shhh)

It's no surprise, but I love Adrien/Chat Noir as a character. And this was a redesign of my first fan art of him, which I'm very proud of ❤ (and that's very important to me). As you can see, Plagg is a cat, a real one, and I justify my aberration because I think it's fine that Adrien can have a pet (even if it's magical, talks, and is destructive). My best friend and I imagine Plagg destroying Gabriel's things like any cat.

I have several Adrien Agreste fanarts which I have made between 2024 and currently, but I will upload them every one or two weeks.

I don't want to go on too long, but I love sharing the story behind each drawing and my opinion on the character I'm drawing. Besides, I have a very busy life and don't draw very often; college is completely absorbing me 😔.

My language isn't English either, but Spanish. I'll try to learn it, but for now it's done with Google Translate.
