FOR ANYBODY WHO WAS WAITING FOR IT sorry it looks cut short, this was an assignment and it was due today so, yk
she's on the run
Don't you hate it when your aunt is stuck as your shadow because she failed on a last-minute effort to trap you in her place?
☝️Shadow is an indication of the body. It works with the physical world and it's a vessel for the conscious. Cue body swap.
Oh yEAH THIS IS ALSO PROPAGANDA FOR MY THREE CABALLEROS AU

A lot of "vibe shift" towards conservatism in the US right now is just that trad stuff is "in" and progressive stuff is "out." Many people, in the 2020s and even as far back as the 2010s, made the mistake of thinking the growing popularity of various progressive ideas was permanent and, more significantly, that it signaled a real growing commitment to those ideas. It's happened before, a bunch of times, throughout history. But it wasn't that. It was superficial popular support because those ideas were in. You might think, as a politically conscious person, or just a marginalized person who's affected by these issues, that's it's batshit insane for people to treat politics and human rights like fashion trends. And... yeah. It is. Unfortunately, they do. The good news is that for most of these people, their commitment to conservatism isn't any deeper than their commitment to progressivism was. Unfortunately that doesn't help us a whole lot in the short term.
Here's the uncomfortable part. I see this some kind of politics-as-trends behavior a lot from people who think of themselves as politically aware and active. Your job, as someone who cares about politics, is to be absolutely solid in your own beliefs and where they come from. Be able to articulate your values and explain how they lead you to your positions. Be informed. That doesn't mean you'll never change your mind. You will, sometimes, on some things. But when you do change your mind, understand why you did it.
We still have to deal with the people who decide our elections acting this way but we can start with ourselves.
