Age- What is their regression age range?

Mello doesn't put a number on his regression age, but he's definitely baby-age!

Friends- Do they have any regression friends? A caregiver? Anyone they get along with while regressed but not while big?

Fix-it universe Near and Mello playmates!!! After the whole Kira business they start getting along as adults as well, but they really like regressing together as well, and recapturing the childhood that was kind of tainted by the competition.

Matt also acts as a caregiver to Mello, but not when he's playing with Near: Mello likes either one or the other, and not combining the two.

Life- Does their regression interfere with their daily activities? How do they cope?

As Mello gets older, he mostly learns to manage his regression: when he was a preteen was some of the worst years, and then he kind of figured it out for a few years, but as pressure amped up with the whole gang/mafia, it got increasingly out of control. Meeting up with Matt helped a lot, and of course in the fix-it world he has time to really make it settle down after Kira is dealt with. With the help of a support system, his regression can be expected and accommodated, instead of being a scary and unpredictable factor.

Monster- Do they have any fears while regressed?

Being judged at all (or feeling like he's being judged) ages him up right away: his younger self just doesn't have any defense mechanisms against the feeling, so it slams him into adult headspace. But as a young one, he's scared of the dark and thunderstorms, which is ironic considering how much adult Mello likes thunderstorms and night driving.

Object- Do they have a comfort item while regressed?

He used to! He had a tendency as a preteen/teenager to throw away regression gear when he was trying to swear it off and "stay big", so he would get attached to new gear and then throw it away later as a form of self-punishment. Now he's very attached to a few stuffed animals that Matt gifted him, and Matt makes sure they don't go anywhere.

Xxx- How do they show their love and affection to people when they're regressed?

Sharing toys and snacks! It's a very sweet little thing, but he'll wander over and just push a toy or a cracker into Near or Matt's hand, and that's how you know he loves you. He will also get up and grab things from other rooms, with a big look of baby concentration: like a blanket Near forgot, or a charger for Matt's gameboy. Acts of service are baby!Mello's love language!
