Just realized I haven't been on in so long, my bio still said I was 22. I've been 24 for almost 3 months lmaoo

I went radio silent because I had a lot of grief to deal with, even more now. But life may be kicking my ass but I'm kicking it right back.

So.... I literally just started the new episodes of Law & Order: SVU. I’ve been kind of putting it off because that was one of the shows I watched with my mom. And my mom unexpectedly passed back in July. I’ve been afraid to watch it because I knew I would cry and have a breakdown, which I am.  I have nobody to talk to about the show. Nobody that gets excited with me or for me when I’m excited. I’m just sad that I don’t have that.... companionship like I did with her. I miss my mom so fucking much and watching this show and the other shows we watched together kind of solidifies that she isn’t here with me anymore. Physically I mean. She’s still here in my heart but not here in person.  Idk. I just needed to ramble I guess. And let it be known that I’m sad and hurting and alone. I miss her so much.

Okay but like... 

I haven’t been very vocal about my displeasure towards Stone for this season, because like, I liked him. He was stern and by the books and I gave him the benefit of the doubt, a fucking lot. But this. THIS. T H I S. 

It went above and beyond everything. I knew something bad was gonna happen, because hello, season finales are never a good time right now, but this was way out of fucking left field.

Long story short. Law & Order: SVU writers, stop doing your characters dirty.

Farewell, Rafael Barba!

I KNEW that the new ADA meant the end for Barba. Because they NEVER have two main cast ADA. But the showrunner was like, nah he's nothing. So I let my guard down. BUT LO AND BEHOLD, they lied.

Can I just say how angry I am at the constant lies the new showrunner has told us?

He mentions bringing on Brooke Shields, we all know right away she’ll be Noah’s grandmother- he says we’re wrong. Then that’s exactly what happens.

Then he mentions Stone who we all guess right away will be replacing Barba. He says no, there’s more than one ADA around! He’ll be Barba’s boss. You’re fine.

And then… yeah.

I don’t like being fucking lied to.

I never expected Barisi to go canon but damn I’m still kind of bitter it didn’t.

Also I don't know if this is clear but I am so fucking happy for Raúl. He's doing Broadway again after six long years. Theater has always been his passion. He never expected to be on SVU for so long but god, I am so glad he was.

Tonight I actually cried.

I cried and I yelled and I prayed it wasn’t true that the main reason I started watching SVU again was leaving. Alas I was proved wrong and had my heart shattered even more.

My heartache runs deep but so does how proud I am of Raúl. Six years. Six long years. We watched him as an actor grow and learn and just all around be a great fucking person.

I can’t wait to see what he does from here. But dammit, he will forever be the best ADA on SVU
