She'd turned away for just a second, a single second to talk to an acquaintance on the street and it was all it took for Jihoo to immediately start to run off. So she immediately cut short the conversation and followed behind him, calling him to stop but his quick little feet--brought a soft laugh out of her--were indeed always so fast to spot whatever he wanted to see then. As it was, he was blinking at a magic show it seemed.
No--not quite so. But the man did look as if he was ready to put on a magic show. It hadn't started yet it seemed, but there was a small stage in the centre, tools that would probably be enough to attract the curiosity of a barely two years old baby boy.  As a child she hadn't seen a lot of magic tricks, but she also knew where Jihoo took his love for tricks from, his father--her brother. But she couldn't have time to think about that, not when now Jihoo had found it convenient to reach out with small hands and hoist himself up on the stage and Charm pulled a face, tongue poking out as she quickly got to him.
"Don't, little bandit." She got there on time, pulling him up in her arms instantly and offered a small apologetic smile at the stranger who stood on the stage still--probably the one getting ready to put on a show--most likely, still assuming, not a good thing, but she was certain to be close to the truth.
"Sorry, about that. He's a little trickster, loves it all that shines." Then the question came before she could stop herself, her eyes wandering around the set, the people that were gathering around, then back up at the man, "Are you putting on a magic show?"

choiyuko:
She has herself inclined against the couch, one leg overlapping the other and the palms of her hands pressed together. The side of her positioned hands was pressed against her lips and one of her brows gradually quirked upon the storytelling. She wasn’t quite sure how to describe into words. “Well…” She was ready to put in her two cents. “It was.. It was interesting. I’ll give you that.”
Charm had to let out a soft chuckle at that, not in a mocking way, just because it seemed as if the other girl did not want to actually be honest. Honesty was what she was expecting though. She hadn't enjoyed a single bit of it, she was even already regretting having dragged her down just for ending up this disappointed. The end did not make sense, nothing did.
"Interesting in a want to strangle myself way if you ask me." She bent to pick up the bowl of chips that was empty now, a habit of cleaning after her son already making her pick up everything that would need to be taken to the kitchen. "Jihoo got the better deal here, sleep over bad movies."
