Thinking about how L and Light would keep the other captive. Instead of executing Light, L keeps him locked in a solidary facility with no other inmates. The only contact Light has with other humans is with L or Watari. Light begs for him to let him see his family. He doesn't let him because he told them and the rest of the taskforce that Light was already dead.
In the reverse AU, Light keeps L contained in his own modified apartment instead of killing him. Light has made it so there is no possibility of escape, he has L's name, so if the detective tries to escape, he will write it down. no one knows L is alive except for Misa, who hates him greatly. Every year, on L's birthday, he gives L a cake. On his 30th birthday, L has lost his appetite for sweets.

i keep comparing Lawlight to salome. bc this pair is so diverse in terms of power struggle. they are both st.john and salome bc they both want each other's head on the silver plate. kinda wanna draw that . i mean in the end L gets his head served on the silver plate, but then L's children comes along and finishes his job and puts on light's head on the silver plate.
i love toxicity to much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Something something about how Naomi Misora is so ready to sacrifice her life and seems so threatened to obey by the role of the "good woman" she's supposed to be and the inherent self loathing inherent in that
Also something something about how Beyond Birthday is so ready to sacrifice his own life (to the point of suicide) because he's so threatened by the "L successor" he's supposed to be and the inherent self loathing in that
And SOMETHING about how Beyond and Naomi validate the real versions of each other and have no idea about that pressure.
Beyond only sees Naomi as a super intelligent FBI agent, Naomi only ever sees Beyond as a separate entity from L
But both of their endings are about how they've fallen in love with the roles that are making them suffer, and they'd very much rather to sacrifice everything in the name of that. That's the only life they can imagine for themselves. Because of the self loathing.

L as a ghost but he goes insane as a ghost bc light is so stupid
I want L to just witness Light's descend into madness and go crazy bc he can't do nothing.
like first he is like.oh hello my killer. and he just observes Light's all evil action and all the dialogue he has with Ryuk and goes insane bc how unfair this whole thing has been
then as Light gets high on his power and makes mistakes and L gets upset. bc at first he is upset that oh. this is the boy that got me killed. what the fuck. disappointment. then he thinks that this is bc he is not around anymore and also the fact that Light has won the battle with L and that gave him insane amount of confidence (=therefore making mistakes.duh) so he acting dumb and careless. unlike his old self.
he just have one person dialogue. this is his purgatory.
light sometimes talk to himself and that's only time L gets to have little bit of conversation/human interaction.
and even after light is dead, since he goes to nothingness. then he is finally alone.
someone write this for me.

Another Lawlight Yuri Piece I did a while back :) I think I prefer the designs for the more recent ones, but I'm still proud of this rendition <3
