She felt his presence before he even came over which is one of the main reasons she pointed out the book in the first place. Lisette knew he would get a kick out of it as well, but he seemed to get the jump on the joking that time. She rested the book on top of the shelf, cover forward and leaned up against it next to him. "Well you know, if I am a voodoo priestess, you might want to watch what you say. There would be so many things I could do to you." She displayed a large, mischievous grin and paused before continuing wanting the moment to linger and set in. "But seriously," she shifted and took the book in both hands and held it up next to her face, "Are they for real with this?" She pointed at the title once more and wondered if he found the concept as ludicrous as she did.

Smells Like Home ✯ Lisette & Colin
It had been a while since the whole containment camp debacle and the heat on the city was finally dying down. Colin had taken the opportunity to go for a shifted run on the outskirts of town the night before. He found himself in a scuffle with a wild animal that didn’t want to be played with, leaving with a few cuts and scrapes. Not serious enough for the Doc but just enough to be bothersome. So he headed down to Crystal Blue to see if Megan had any oils in stock that could help him. He was more than grateful when she went to check the stock room for him, and out of the corner of his eye he saw his beautiful drinking partner that he had so rudely had to skip out on. “Well if it isn’t my favorite voodoo high priestess” he grinned as he walked over to her. “You know, you being in here only makes the joke more valid” he said as he leaned against the bookshelf she was in front of.

Amara didn't seem to understand what she was referring to, but she just let it slide. It wasn't worth making a thing of it. "Yes," she nodded and smiled as the woman sat down. The Siren put her phone back into her bag and set it on the ground. She was sure it would ring again soon, but for now she needed a break. Lisette had been considering bringing Amara into the other side of the business, but she hadn't been able to get a good enough read on the woman yet. She knew that a few of the girls probably suspected something else was going on, but she was too discreet for them to connect the dots completely. "So how have you been? We don't get to talk very often, I feel like I know nothing about you."

She had been too distracted with the ridiculous book to really take note of the person she was addressing. However, now that she had his attention it was hard not to notice the gorgeous man standing there smiling at her. She gave him a playful grin. "The things they come up with, I swear." Lisette shook her head and chuckled again slightly. "I'm sure you're right. Every house mom in the country is reading this book in their book club." She took a moment to really look him over, knowing that he wasn't the type of man that would mind. He had the air of a man who knew he was beautiful, and he was. "They don't even know what they're missing." She uttered slowly as her eyes roamed over him. Then she remembered that she had seen him before. He was at that party. She had been a little preoccupied with a tantalizing Leprechaun to bother with anyone else, but maybe that had been a mistake.

Smells Like Home ✯ Lisette & Santiago
The Crocotta stopped by at the Crystal Blue to grab a few candles and other things. Grabbing two candles off the shelf he turned around, looking at the newer arrivals in the store. That was when he heard a woman’s voice. He remembered seeing the other Mythic at Amara’s party but hadn’t met her before. Peering over at the title she was looking at, “as serious as it can get, probably a best seller.” He grinned, giving her a charming smile.

When she paused and seemed to continue in a calmer matter Lisette thought she finally had her, but the human's choice in words were the wrong ones. "Are you fucking kidding me?!" She slammed her hands down on the desk and stood up quickly nearly knocking over her chair. "You think I had a fucking choice?! Like I wanted to be in there?! I did what I had to to survive, but suggesting that I would turn on my own kind is disgusting! I think you forget that you're the human here. You're the enemy. The ignorance and fear of your weak and pathetic race are why we're dying out. You think this is new? You think these camps are the first? Think again. Mythics have been persecuted for thousands of years, you just got the tail end. To even suggest that there would be another side for me to be on is something that I can't even begin to understand. You're the one with a choice, not me." Her fingers dug into the wood. Every muscle in her body was tensed. She was an instant away from ripping the human to shreds like it was nothing. It wouldn't be the first time and she was sure it wouldn't be the last, but she knew better. She leaned forward and brought her face inches from the other. "Choose your next words carefully."

Smells Like Home ✯ Lisette & OPEN
Lisette had passed the odd shop a few times and never really considered going in until today. She had quite the collection of incenses at her old home and as she walked by the store today she was reminded that she didn't have any here. The Siren greeted the mythic behind the counter and then wandered through the aisles browsing the wares. She didn't really see herself purchasing anything more than what she came in for, but there were plenty of interesting things to see and she had nothing better to do. Stumbling upon a shelf full of books she took a minute to look through the titles. Moments later she began to laugh at what she was reading. "Are they serious with this?" She pulled out one called Heaven is for Real and showed it to the person next to her.

She was about to lose her patience with this human, but when her words hit the woman she smiled. "Oh, so I'm just supposed to tell you everything, but all I get from you is fucking attitude? I don't think so. That's not how this game works sweetheart." She leaned on the desk glaring at the other daring her to keep pulling her shit. After she felt like the message was received she leaned back in her chair, put her feet up on the desk and laced her hands behind her head. "I'd be more than happy to tell you everything if you afford me the same curtesy and yes I do have the right to know what the fuck is going on. You weren't the only one in there you know. Your information is important to me too and I'm not the one waltzing into your business like I fucking own the place."

She appreciated his prompt and efficient service. "Oh you definitely have a new regular," she smiled and began on her second glass. When he said he hadn't been there long she wondered if he was from the camp as well. It only made logical sense that any new mythic in town had come from there. "Yes, but you know as well as I do that they're just guys and nothing more. I asked you for a reason, but it seems we both came from the same place." Perhaps she was jumping to conclusions, but she had a feeling that she was right on the money. "I seem to have met quite a few of us that decided to stick around."

Working for the Weekend || Sawyer && Lisette
As Lisette got close to finishing her drink Sawyer didn’t hesitate to fill up another glass, exchanging it for the empty one once she swallowed down the remainder of the contents. “Well Miss Lisette, I have no idea. I haven’t been here long myself so you’re asking the wrong man.” He smirked a little before tipping his head, scanning his eyes over the other bar goers. “You might be better off asking just about any of those guys out there.”

Lisette rolled her eyes at the human's attempt to give her attitude and avoid her questions. It was pathetic really. She would have to do a lot better than that if she expected her to let it go. The Siren finished the rest of her glass and got up and poured herself another before choosing to answer the other woman. "The ladies don't need me to make money and business is just fine," she smirked and took a sip from her fresh glass before continuing. "I saw you with the Gryphon you know. I knew something was going on well before the break out. So don't treat me like I don't know what I'm talking about and honey, nobody said you were special. I just want to know why everyone trusts you. I think I have the right to know that."

Business was booming. Not just the legitimate side of things, but what was going on behind closed doors as well. Perhaps her decision to stay in Atlanta wasn't a bad one after all. She had acquired several new contacts and between Logan and Melina she couldn't wait to see what would happen next, both professionally and personally. Lisette had received a call about some work and decided to take the conversation to the park where it was less likely that she would be disturbed. She had just hung up the phone when she heard a familiar voice. Turning towards the woman she decided to answer the question with another one, "I don't know, is it alright if we seat together?" She was joking, but what had happened at Amara's party with the Hellhound still didn't sit well with her.

Have A Seat || Amara & Lisette
The weather was slowly warming up and Amara was thankful for that. This winter had been quite something. Strolling through Piedmont Park, the Djinn wrapped her fingers tighter around the cup of coffee as she looked around. She saw a few familiar faces and smiled at them before making her way to an empty bench. “This seat taken?” she asked with a polite smile. Running a free hand through her hair, Amara smiled at a woman and her dog walking by.

Her lips curled into a grin at Melina’s tiny gasp and her fingers trailed through the Leprechaun’s blond locks. Lisette’s touch continued down her neck and when she seemed to agree with her thoughts the Siren smiled. “Good.” Right when she was ready to make her next move in getting the two of them out of the club and into her apartment Melina’s phone rang. She tried to distract the other from caring about a silly phone call, but it seemed like it was important so she gave in and let her answer. It was obvious as soon as she began to speak that it was some kind of important business call and as frustrated as she was, she knew she couldn’t interfere. When Melina returned she smiled, but her face fell at her words. Lisette sighed and pulled her closer before leaning in and kissing her neck a few times moving towards her ear. “Soon…” She uttered before taking the Leprechaun’s phone and entering her number.

Luck of the Draw ✯ Lisette & Melina
Their bodies couldn’t possibly get any closer now, at least not without causing a scene. And as much as Melina liked an audience sometimes this was definitely not the place for that. A shudder ran down her spine as the siren let her tongue flick out. There was a sharp intake of breath she was certain the other woman would have to notice. “Yes, I’m all for pleasure,” she replied in a slightly husky voice. She needed to get out of here. Now. With the siren of course. Moving against Lisette’s body she was about to suggest exactly that when she felt her phone vibrate. She let out a displeased huff and looked at the caller ID. Now she was torn. It was Klaus, and old contact of hers she had tried to reach since she made it out of the camp, she needed to take this call and it wouldn’t be done in five minutes either. Apologetic she smiled at the siren. “Sorry, I have to take this call,” she said before picking up. “Klaus. Es ist gut deine Stimme zu hören. – Yes, I’m fine. We need to talk. Can I call you back in half an hour. I need to go to a place where we can talk. Yes. No. It’s not safe … I’m at a club. – Gut, bis später.” She ended the call and turned Lisette around in her arms. “I’m so sorry. But I have to make a very important call. Can we … Rain check? I really would like to continue this another time. Soon.”

Marcus. Yes that was the man’s name. She kept forgetting it and it would probably be wise if she didn’t. It seemed that he was close with most of the workers and she didn’t want to appear insensitive. The Siren took a long, slow drink of whiskey as she debated whether or not to inquire further about her relationship with Marcus, but the man was dead and she didn’t see much point in it. However, she certainly wasn’t going to miss the opportunity to walk through the door Constance had just opened. “Friends huh? And just how is it that a human becomes such close friends with a community of mythics? Especially one that also happens to work with their enemy?” She sipped from her glass once more and then rested her elbows on her desk watching the woman closely.

She took a large sip from her glass making a small noise of satisfaction when she was finished. "Oh, I am enjoying it." As for his second comment she shrugged and chuckled slightly. "You never know. Hell if you always make 'em like this you've already got yourself a new loyal customer." The Siren drank a bit more and nodded. "Yes sir. Now, Mr. Sawyer, what do people in this town do for fun? Besides drinking your delicious beverages of course. I mean where's the real fun?" Lisette leaned against the counter next to him, had another sip and turned towards the Leprechaun. "You see, I'm new here and a girl's gotta know what's really going on if you know what I mean."

Sawyer nodded simply, turning to face her once more and perch his elbows against the edge of the bar. “Well, Lisette. I hope you enjoy that drink,” he said, nodding his head in the direction of it. “Hell, maybe I’ll give you a couple more and you will end up drunk off your ass.” She sure seemed like she’d bee quite the entertainment if she were ever drunk to that extent and the barman had to keep himself entertained somehow, didn’t he?
