Credit the real artists, don't repost to other platforms without permission, or without links to their social pages\portfolios\etc. Please, do the reverse image search, it works in 95%, so better do it and credit the source. Actual artists deserve to be credited and acknowledged.

As AI art gets harder to clock, I feel like we are going to need to have a discussion about attribution and it's probably going to bum some people out.

Because the surest way to avoid platforming, reblogging, or encouraging AI art posting is to know where every image you share originated and that's 1) boring, tedious research and 2) extremely limiting in what you feel you can reblog. But if unattributed images never gets traction, people will start attributing their images.

I've been guilty of this in the past, but for a while now it's been my policy that if I can't verify the origin, I don't share the image. That goes for stuff like screen grabs of headlines too -- more than once I've avoided spreading misinformation by saving a post to research before I reblog, then seeing the post refuted before I've been able to verify it.

And I usually try to attribute photos I take -- case in point, the "woman with shrimp" post gets a lot of attention but not one comment about it being AI, despite it being pretty similar to something you'd get from an AI. That's because I clearly state it's in a museum and link to its catalogue page.

I'm not saying this to scold anyone -- I think yelling at the Internet to cite its sources is very much a losing game -- but because I don't see this discussed much. We're such fertile ground to be fooled by AI art because we've grown accustomed to not questioning the origins of any given image. And of course I also want to encourage both OPs to attribute their images and rebloggers to verify unattributed ones.

How do I work: Message me here, note the kind of drawing you want, explain what exactly you want me to draw, provide with references if possible. If I agree to work on your commission, I'll give you a link to my Boosty page, where you can use a donation pool (PayPal\bank card payment), to pay for a commission.

What will you get: A small sketch preview of your commission with an option of One free fix - if something is not quite right or bothering you - I’ll fix it. (Next three fixes will cost 5$ for each fix. Over three fixes the price will get raised on 5$ for each subsequent fix.). When picture is done completely I’ll send you a PNG file, full size.

How to pay: For now the only way for me to get payments is through Boosty (it's like an alternative to Patreon). You can pay full price or half of it at the beginning, and other half - after looking at the small preview.

Notes:

All the prices are listed without backgounds. For head shots backgrounds are free. For pictures of a half body backgrounds will cost from 15 to 20$. For a full body pictures backgrounds will cost from 20 to 30$. The more details - the more the price.

The prices are listed for a single character. For every additional character the price will grow by this formula - original price minus five bucks. (for example: a half body with a flat colour (35$) + additional character (30$).

What I WILL draw: Fan characters, OC’s, game\movie\book\cartoon characters, animals, etc. What I WON’T draw: Gore, porn, mecha, etc. I have the right to reject your commission if it’s out of my comfort zone, has questionable themes, or something I do not like\can’t really draw. Why Boosty and not PayPal?: due to PayPal blocking all of russian accounts, I can no longer work through it. Unfortunately it means there's no invoices and a different website I can process payments through. All payments go through my page on Boosty, through a donation pool. The payments can be made through your PayPal account or a bank card! (If an instruction or any help will be needed - I'll provide an instruction with screenshots. The platform is safe and is used by many artists, who has been dropped and left out by PayPal or Patreon). At the moment Boosty has some issues with PayPal and probably the only method of payment avaliable is by a bank card. Boosty is trying to resolve the issue. There's also a Hipolink as an alternative... If you need any reassurance in my trustworthiness - you can see a bunch of previous commissions I've made for a lot of people here, or on twitter }: )

I've raised my commission prices a little bit. It had to be done, since my prices haven't changed since 2018… And god knows, everything became freaking more expensive nowadays, so, I had to do something about it too… Since, you know, food now costs more money, and I need to eat, to live… %) What a concept, am I right?

Anyways… The prices haven't changed drastically. And I'll open commissions after my birthday on 22 of april. I don't want to get more work before that, cuz… I need to rest.

I'm already going over The alphabet with Duolingo, listening to some podcasts For basics, but from My experience from learning English (my native language is spanish) its much easier to learn when You need to understand something intresting (like stuff You post in russian xD)

Heh, well, that's good and I do understand what you mean. Though, ironically, I'm not the best person to ask about content in russian (like books, series\cartoons, or comics), as I barely consume it myself. (Like, at the moment the latest thing I've watched was a chinese animation). I guess there's a bunch of Soviet animations (old cartoons of Soyuzmultfilm studio. Wikipedia has a list of their cartoons.) which you can look for. I bet they can be found on Youtube, maybe even translated. Some of those are worth watchnig. (I don't really like our recent animated films, so I don't suggest those. But maybe there are some good ones from Melnitsa Animation Studio. God, I hate their franchise with the Three Heroes %))) As for reading... I guess books are too much, unless you are down to read fairytales for kids (which are, to be fair, are pretty good) Maybe comicbooks }: ? We have a bunch of comics from Bubble Comics. (again, there's a list of comics that can be found on Wiki) I did like the Major Grom and Exlibrium series... I dunno if they can be found online though. But then again, I'm not sure if I can suggest anything specific, that will be helpful in learning the language.
