               “It’s strange being here alone, though, I’m sure some of my brothers men are watching. I get lost easily!” her words were spoken quickly, and a nervous laughed followed the words. She knew that Kamurocho was RIDDLED with Yakuza; she wouldn’t be surprised if her brother had decided to pay a visit.             

                   ----------- wait a second.

That didn’t sound right. Or, at least, it sounded as if ... nah, could be harmless, right? Jumping to conclusions never helped anyone. But what type of men were these?

          “ Huh ... ‘s that right? Are they very protective, these men? I mean, I’m not gonna get whacked in the head for talkin’ to ya, am I? ” Not that it'd matter. He could handle his own.

               That certainly struck a nerve in the one eyed man! Amusement ran across the others face as he shoved his hands into the pockets of his slacks. “And they let you back into the family? Y’must be some kind of VALUABLE.” 

A scoff.

“Got my mouth torn open by two KYODAI a few years ago. Before that, I got these scars from the same two; SONS OF A BITCH. What’s funny is that I enjoyed it. Get called the MASO YAKUZA now.”

                 Oh, he had no idea.

                 “ They just couldn’t get rid of me! ”

His brows raise at that - well, maybe it’s not anything outlandish, but the fact it was the guy’s KYODAI that did it ... Majima couldn’t begin to imagine. The thought left a bad taste in his mouth.

         He chuckles, “ Well, that’s fucked. But I ain’t gonna judge! What happened to those kyodai of yours? You pay ‘em back, or ... ? ”

           “Oh!” the girl blinked, her eyes travelling to the man. He was strange looking; an eyepatch and no shirt ( that part made her blush just the tiniest bit )! After a moment of being dazed, she gave him a bright grin. 

“I’m sorry! I was star struck by everything; I’m not lost I don’t think! I’m just not used to it! The place is huge, right?” 

             Huge, sprawling, bustling, TOTALLY INSANE - no matter how many adjectives you threw at it, words never stuck well to Kamurocho. It stood on its own without them.

                   But when you’re used to it, hey, you might not be so impressed.

He shrugs, but a slight grin flashes her way, “ Yeah, 'specially if you’re not from here! I’m assumin’ you aren’t? ”

          It seemed they both were interested in each others stories ( Masao definitely was; you don’t see a one eye’d man everyday ). “Perhaps we should keep mine for LAST, eh? End with the most interestin’.” he certainly wouldn’t deny that his own history wasn’t quite WEIRD.

           “ TCH - don’t go makin’ assumptions, pal. ”

        How rude! Who was he to decide that his story was far more interesting? Hell, Majima didn’t know the guy but he was quickly falling down his list of favorite people, despite appearances.

His lips purse for a moment.  “ Just your typical, run-of-the-mill fuck up. Disobeyed some orders, got my eye mutilated all to hell with a tantō. Cherry on top? Boss decided a year in solitary would set me straight, gettin’ tortured every day. ” He gestured in the other’s direction , 

                  “ What’s your story? ”

           “ The hell - ! ” He spun ‘round immediately upon contact, ready to do god only knows what to whoever had the balls to - OH. Expecting to at least meet the guy eye to eye, Majima faltered, instead his gaze dropping lower. 

            “ Hey, ya gotta be more careful, kid. Woulda hurt a lot more if ya walked into a street sign. You lost? ”

The girl was absolutely MYSTIFIED by the setting of Kamurocho, her eyes big at the sight of the flashing lights and signs. If only she had actually watched where she was going; she ran SMACK into the back of a tall stranger. 

“ah!”

           A wide grin spread the corners of his lips far apart, accompanied by an unmistakably delighted twinkle in the eye. Not a common reaction to that sort of mug, for sure, but Majima was far too entranced to behave like a normal person. 

                   “ W H O A there ! I’m thinkin’ yours might be more interestin’ than mine! The fuck happened to you? ”

           “You wanna tell yer story first?” a quick nod of his head was his gesture towards the EYEPATCH, an amused look on the Kumichou’s face.

( lmfao okay so in five years of RP I still haven’t figured out custom themes and I still need to make a bunch of icons but I am open for business! A proper promo will probably be made much later. Until then, this Majima Goro blog is ready. )
