I’ve been radio silent on this blog for a while. Some of it, admittedly, is that I haven’t had as many ideas that people would like. But the main contributing factor is that I’ve been losing touch with Pokémon. After the most recent region paldea, I’ve kind of been disenfranchised with the pokemon series. Without getting into too much detail I feel like pokemon has drastically sunk in quality, I waited until the rest of the DLC came out and even now I still feel the same, if not even more so.
This doesn’t mean I’m giving up the blog though, I still have a rough outline for where I want it to go, and I also just want to write cool lore bits I like.
I’ve mentioned Paldea because I’ve gotten the urge to rewrite its narrative and history. This comes after how little gen 9 built upon its already sparse world building and atmosphere. I have a few ideas where I would like to take it, but I’d rather confirm with my (admittedly tiny) audience that they’d actually read and participate in such a project. Please let me know if it’s something you’d like to read.

Day 4060
I finally got a look at the new lab that Giovanni made for me. It was incredible! All of the most recent innovations in technology, it blew the lab we had under the Kantonian government out of the water! I came home with a smile across my face, Nora noticed, and god forgive me I lied to her. I said I got a new job as a senior researcher at a new Pokémon lab. I knew I shouldn’t have, but she believed me. When the day finally comes to tell her the truth, I just know she’ll have the same smile across her face.
Day 4063
Giovanni introduced me to the other researchers that’ll be helping me. 50 other researchers to help me achieve a dream! Team Rocket shall prevail, project Mew2 is underway.

In the ancient times the native Unovans; the pioneers of Pokémon taming lived separated.
Individual tribes with individual customs and beliefs.
In one of these tribes two brothers had a dream.
They dreamed of uniting the tribes of unova.
They traveled and met all kinds of people; learning from each tribe.
Their dream however seemed impossible,
Until one day they found a cave.
The cave lay home to a dragon.
A dragon the brothers named Unova.
Unova was kind and loved the two brothers like family.
Unova helped the brothers unite the tribes of the region.
However as the brothers reigned over the newly born region they began to fight.
They fought on how to beat rule the country.
One brother ruled through the flexibility of ideals.
The other brother ruled through the rigidness of truth.
The two brothers split the region in two.
Eventually their relationship came to a point where they declared open war.
Unova was conflicted and wished the brothers wouldn’t fight.
So it split itself in two.
One half to teach a brother about the needs of truth.
Reshiram
The other to teach a brother about the needs of ideals.
Zekrom
However the dragon didn’t split itself perfectly, as it left behind a third portion of its power.
The soulless leftovers
Kyurem

Within the dark depths of the human mind laid a flickering form.
A form that took shape at the dawn of mankind.
One that’s been slowly growing and spreading its vile webs across the human consciousness.
Even in the most virtuous of people lay the darkness this one feeds on.
The hatred, the sadness, the inky silk that spawns from the human heart coalesced into the one that’s known as
The devil
The darkness
The enemy of the gods
The hellborn glutton
The one who’s name shall never be spoken
Demiurgess.

Day 4051
My efforts to find a new financial backer have been futile so far, I’ve reached out to philanthropists, corporations, and even the other regions’ governments. But all has been for naught, however today I got an invitation from someone who is interested in my work for a little discussion. Hopefully this will be the break I’ve been waiting for.
Day 4052
The meeting today went fantastic! They decided right then and there to give me full funding! Finally my journey can begin! The man I spoke to was a very intelligent man in his own right, his aura just gravitated me toward him! He was like a savant, or like a modern day philosopher to rival the greats! But never the less from now on team rocket shall be giving me everything I need to build the future!

Carbink were revered by kalos’ ancient, indigenous people.
Their ability to purify and fuse ores together led to the indigenous kalosians to befriend them, using their abilities to make tools.
However the carbink refused to use their powers in the creation of weapons.
The reason why is unknown.
However this decision would have grave consequences.
As when the time came when invaders came to destroy and slaughter, the indigenous people were helpless in the tide of hate that was brought down upon them.
Not many survived the bloodshed.
Those who did began to resent their once loyal companions believing that the carbinks brought them to their current wretched fate.
However through word of mouth a story was spread.
That ‘The Rock Queen; Diancie” had protected a village from the invaders, and led the villagers into the caves to hide away from the invaders.
Naturally some went looking for the fabled village.
Some wanted to make a profit, others to act out their deprave and heinous thoughts, while the survivors looked for salvation.
But none returned.

Regigigas walked away from the battle half way on death’s door.
It had only been born the previous day and yet the pain it felt was more than just physical.
It began to hate its creator.
So it traveled.
It traveled across the world getting stronger.
Pulling continents,
Challenging Pokémon,
And wreaking havoc.
It became the very thing it hated, a monster that could only destroy.

Day 4012
It’s been about 10 years since my last entry. Nora and I haven’t kept our promise to continue the project. Instead we got married, had a kid, and almost completely forgot our troubles under the thumb of the kantonian government. I was in blissful ignorance, an extended honeymoon phase if you will. But looking back at my previous entries has gotten me fired up again. Me and Nora will push science forward!
Day 4013
How could Nora agree with them! She was there! ‘We have a daughter to take care of’ can’t she see I’m doing it FOR eve, for the future! Nora sounds just like everyone else. Nora doesn’t understand, science is moving forward with or without her.

During the years of the crimson storm’s reign in galar two children were found in the forest by a phantom Pokémon.
The Pokémon had two pups of its own, so she waited.
She waited for the children to be picked up by some other human.
But the longer she waited the more it realized that no one was coming for the two babies.
Pitying the two human children the Pokémon decided to take them with her.
She raised the two children in the wildness of galar with her own pups.
The five were an inseparable family of the steel fog.
Until one day when the two human children were out playing they lost their two other siblings and wondered too far from their mother.
Eventually the two children ran into the king of galar who took the two kids believing it was his duty to raise the two wild boys.
When the two pups went back to their mother.
The phantom Pokémon was inconsolable, stricken with grief.
The mother refused to eat or drink.
The grief killed the mythical Pokémon.

Regigigas’ assault on the ancient king’s men was brutal.
Each punch cleared 10 men and pokemon.
The king grew tired of the golem’s unwillingness to be subjugated.
So he snapped his fingers.
The soldiers fighting the golem stopped their barrage and looked back at the king.
The battle field was frozen in hesitation.
Soon after, the soldiers fled in fear of what was to come.
Regigigas then spied men wheeling in a cage of some sort into the battle field.
The men looked horrified by what what was kept in the cage, obscured by darkness.
The cage landed onto the ground, the walls of the cage began to fall one by one. Until the glowing eyes of beast within could be seen.
A mass of cables, machines and chains meant to contain the beast obscured its body.
And then with a thundering roar the bindings snapped and broke falling to the ground.
Under the bindings was a Pokémon.
It seemed to be a tyranitar, but something was off.
It had metal parts on parts of its body.
It was armored.
The power regigigas felt was one of rage.
Regigigas readied itself as two other cages were dropped.
The newborn golem was going to have to prove its title of the god of strength.

Experiment log
Day 10
The first cloning process has been deemed a failure. What resulted was a cancerous mass of cells. We terminated it today, I will not lose hope.
Day 158
We have successfully produced a living organism through the existing cloning process. Though it’s weak and only a genetically inconsistent mass of cells, we have deemed the experiment a success. we are bringing our results to the kantonian government tomorrow.
Day 159
The kantonian officials “respectfully” turned down our request to continue funding the project. Stating that “our research objective was achieved so it was no longer needed.” 15 out of the original 17 scientists have left the project. Can’t they see the potential me and Nora do! Science shouldn’t be stopped just because some executives say so! From this day on me and Nora shall continue the project ourselves.

Regigigas woke up in a frenzy as soldiers swarmed them.
Launching hooks tied down to ropes intended to keep it down.
Each barb from the hook sunk into its clay flesh.
Regigigas cried out before ripping out the hooks using the ropes to whip around the soldiers that intended to keep it down.
It’s strength was immeasurable turning the village into a battle ground.
The ancient king brought out artillery that launched volleys of death.
The explosions riddled regigigas.
The smoke from the artillery concealed the giant before its six eyes lit up with its arcane patterns.
It charged out through the smoke and destroyed the opposition.
It was a death machine and it was everything the king above all wanted.

The people of galar were once hated invaders.
Forcing out the original ruler of the land to the polar regions.
The galarian Invaders plundered the surrounding regions.
Painting the streets red with blood.
Neither people or Pokémon were spared.
Until the red comet landed in the galarian tundra.
Out emerged a dragon that poisoned the land.
The sky clouded, turning into a crimson storm that slowly grew.
The dragon poisoned the minds of the native Pokémon, causing them to rampage.
The crimson storm grew and grew.
The galarian army was fighting a losing battle.
So galar cried out in desperation for any help.
But no one came

Experiment log
Day 1:
We have obtained the sample from the expedition team.
Our research before hand had been successful to a point.
But now that the research team has returned we can start work on project esper
Day 3:
Upon testing of the sample, we successfully replaced some of the genes within the DNA.
We are now working on cell replication.
I’m having high hopes for this project.

Long ago when the ancient tinkerers ruled the land there was a village that did not fall under the ancient’s rule.
The ruler above all had dreams that needed to be met.
So they wanted the village to be erased.
But invading and slaughtering them could raise rebellions.
The ruler was well versed in the sciences.
So as the morning sun arose, the town was silent.
It was if no one lived there to begin with.
But the silence was broken as a clay monstrosity rose.
The giant became known as
Regigigas

In the peace after the first fight between the great Titans came to an end, life flourished.
The cells that the sky fought to protect eventually spread across the entire world.
These cells evolved over several millennia to form the first sentient organism.
Mew the ancestor of all Pokémon.
Mew spread across the world at a rapid rate.
Due to their unstable DNA mew could change their bodies to suit the ecosystem they resided in.
Those changes to their DNA were passed down to their prodigy.
But over the generations the mew’s DNA stabilized and created separate species.
These species of Pokémon evolved on their own independently of mew.
However there have been reports of mew surviving to the modern day.
Though most have little to no substantial evidence.
