Sometimes, you can love something with all your heart, but if it’s not meant for you, you have to let it go.

If it returns, then Alhumdulillah. And if it doesn’t, then may the memories leave you feeling more grateful than empty

The simple moments in life are at times the most beautiful moments

I don't think a lot of people realize how even the most little of things could amount to something beautiful if you look at it the right way. Like, I've always hated slow-walkers, always thought they're annoying, until I realized that there really are days when you just don't want to get to your destination yet. Nights when you just want to let yourself get lost in the view of the city lights, even for just a little while.

I've come to learn that we easily associate beauty and our dreams to something big and grand, when in reality, when we finally have all the things that shine, it's often that we find ourselves longing for the little things that we took for granted. Things we used to look at as dull. The early morning walks, the loud dinner table, the sunsets by the beach or sitting on a random park bench watching the leaves of the trees dance to the wind.

I'm not saying that we shouldn't dream big. I'm not implying that grand things cannot shine. I'm merely hoping that when the night falls on you, you don't get scared in the dark and instead learn to find the glimmer in things. You'd be surprised how in the absence of light, we can make our own constellations.

So, go on.

Do something little.
