Project Zero/Fatal Frame - Metacritic 74% What a non mainstream horror game you would recommend everyone play? I’ve always loved the idea of the Project Zero series, but never got too far into them. They are definitely a slow atmospheric horror game and I’m not always in the mood for that unfortunately. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Game Description: Set in the year 1986, the story follows siblings Miku and Mafuyu Hinasaki. When Mafuyu disappears while searching for a famous novelist in the haunted Himuro Mansion, his sister Miku goes to find him. During her exploration of the mansion, she discovers clues as to the fate of those who entered, must fight hostile ghosts, and discover the truth behind a dark ritual that took place there. The gameplay focuses on the siblings exploring the mansion, and fighting off hostile ghosts using a special camera. Development began after the PlayStation 2 hardware was introduced to Tecmo, using the codename "Project Zero". The concept was created by Makoto Shibata based on his own spiritual experiences. Prince of Persia: The Two Thrones - Metacritic 85% An epic conclusion to a great action trilogy, what’s your favourite gaming trilogy? The 1st trailer of this game seemed to continue with the evolution of an older, darker prince. But then the ‘fans’ complained, and the game took a step back in my eyes. Don’t get me wrong, the game is fantastic, but just didn’t continue the way it was supposed to and took a back step in character development. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Game Description: The game is set after the events of Prince of Persia: Warrior Within, in which the Prince kills the Dahaka, saves Kaileena and prevents the Sands of Time from being created. Unlike the previous games, the story is narrated by Kaileena. The Prince's actions alter the timeline of events that took place before that point. In the original timeline, the Vizier and Maharajah traveled to the Island of Time and found an hourglass filled with the Sands of Time. In the modified timeline, they find the hourglass empty. Since the Vizier never released the Sands of Time and fought the Prince, he is still alive at the beginning of this game. Prince of Persia: Warrior Within - Metacritic 83% Did you not like this sequel? If you did, what sequel have you not enjoyed? I absolutely LOVED this game, I think I played through this game the most, the story, the time travel, the FACT THAT THE PRINCE AGED AND WAS DIFFERENT. In too many game sequels a character does not seem to change much based on the events of the previous game, this game dared to do so and people were not happy. It picks up where The Sands of Time left off, adding new features, specifically, options in combat. The Prince has the ability to wield two weapons at a time as well as the ability to steal his enemies' weapons and throw them. Warrior Within has a darker tone than its predecessor adding in the ability for the Prince to dispatch his enemies with various gory finishing moves. Prince of Persia The Sands of Time - Metacritic 89% When this game came out, it re-invigorated my love of games and made me the gamer I am today. What game did this for you? Playboy the Mansion - Metacritic 59% If it was not every teenagers wet dream out there for a playboy game to be made in a sims style of gameplay. What’s your favourite cross over games? Pariah - Metacritic 69% What was a game in your opinion that was over hyped and why? I remember when I 1st heard about this game, they were touting it as a Halo competitor for years to come. Can’t say that I wasn’t hyped for this game and when it came out. While it was by no stretch of the imagination a bad game, it unfortunately did not live up to the hype. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Game Description: Pariah is a first-person shooter video game, developed by Brainbox Games, HIP Games and Digital Extremes. Panzer Dragoon Orta - Metacritic 90% Are you mad at me that I’ve never played the legendary Panzer Dragoon games? I have always heard such great things about this series. The cover art is amazing and really making me wanna play this! Outlaw Volleyball - Metacritic 77% I love volleyball games, which is your favourite? The last of the outlaw series of games. I enjoyed all these games and would really love there to be more in the future. While that might not happen. It was originally published for Xbox and included a sampler CD of tunes by cover band Diffuser. It was later ported to PlayStation 2 with two new courts and a handful of additional player costumes, accessories, etc. under the title Outlaw Volleyball Remixed. The game features Steve Carell as the announcer. The game follows the normal rules of volleyball and a standard game with standard rules can be played. However, there are a number of different modes that mix up the standard formula. One example is Hot Potato, where the ball is played as a timer ticks down, and once it runs out the ball explodes upon impact of the nearest player. Another is "Casino Round", where the longer the volley, the more money the scoring team on that play gets. Individual settings can also be altered within these modes, such as adjusting whether only the serving team can score a point ("side out" rule) or any team who wins the volley gets a point. Outlaw Tennis - Metacritic 66% Am I the only one who calls Tennis games ‘Pong Advanced’ ? 😂 I really think the outlaw series hit its stride when it moved from golf to tennis and volleyball. The games were faster and more entertaining and much more accessible to the fans. Oddworld: Munch’s Oddysee - Metacritic 80% Which is your favourite Oddworld game? Obscure - Metacritic 66% What’s your favourite scary game? (In my best scream voice) I absolutely loved this game and its mechanics. It was like a horror heavy rain game. Set in a high school and had multiple characters that could die off but the game would continue. I used to always give up when the hot chicks died though. 🤔 ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Game Description: Obscure is a survival horror video game developed by Hydravision Entertainment and published by DreamCatcher Interactive[1] in North America, Ubisoft in China and MC2-Microïds in other territories for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 2 and Xbox. It was released on October 1, 2004 in Europe and on April 6, 2005 in North America. Strange things are happening at Leafmore High. Three teenagers set out to search for their missing friend. Finding themselves locked inside the school overnight, they now have to get to the bottom of the strange occurrences. The player controls the five teenagers as they explore the school and battle a number of different types of infected students. The students discover that the enemies are sensitive to light, with direct sunlight being able to destroy them. Flashlights help to slightly weaken their foes and the malevolent black aura surrounding them. Ninja Gaiden - Metacritic 91% (black) 94% Do you still play your OG Xbox games on Xbox One? This was dark souls of this gamings generation. Definitely a game you couldn’t just button mash your way though, you needed to master and adapt to each situation. Need For Speed Underground 2 - Metacritic 83% Do you enjoy a story line in sports games? @brookeburke whom was the worlds most ‘downloaded’ female at the time made an appearance as the main character in this game and with an added story elements to this game, definitely made it one of my favourites. ⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️⬇️ Game Description: The game entails tuning cars for street races, resuming the Need for Speed: Underground storyline. Need for Speed: Underground 2 provides several new features, such as a broader customization, new methods of selecting races, the "explore" mode in a large city known as "Bayview". The City Center was based on Philadelphia, Beacon Hill was based on Beverly Hills and Coal Harbor was based on Camden, New Jersey, and Bayview as a whole is a microcosm of the west coast of the United States. NBA 2K4 - Metacritic 87% Back in the day, NBA Live or 2k?.... be honest. Who would have thought back then that EA games basketball dominance with the Live series would come to such a dramatic end. I used to buy all the bball games regardless, but it wasn’t until 2k3 when Ben Wallace was on the front cover and his hair would change from an Afro to cornrows every few games.
