Rewatching Nosferatu and all I see is... I am Count Orlok. Me at a party, me asking for help with my phone (because I'm clueless), me avoiding running into the neighbors, and me when the sun return after winter... me.

I don't think I will ever actually write a book. I always get stuck during the plotting part.

This happened to me when I had a tumor on my uterus. I was bleeding like crazy and at times in a lot of pain and people were like, "Aw, I know. Periods sucks."
So many people who get periods are like “Ugh it sucks that having a menstrual cycle makes you almost die every month” like no that’s not normal you need to go to the doctor

Walking to Barcelona Week 9
Kilometers done: 385
Kilometers left: 2257
Currently in Aneby. A very small town that have a fall, a penis rock and a guy buried in a pyramid. A normal week after getting back from Amsterdam so nice to get some distance down. Still feeling slow this last part before getting to Denmark. 6 and a half week before I reach Helsingborg and get out on the continent. Really looking forward to that. Will try to do a 20 km day this week. (Motivation for my daily walks, not actually walking to Spain)

Walking to Barcelona Week 7 & 8
Kilometers done: 343 kilometer done, I'm in Tranås
Kilometers left: Odd week last week as I was in Amsterdam and my app used so much battery I couldn't use it much which was a shame because I walked a lot. And then now a short week and here we are. (Motivation for my daily walks, not actually walking to Spain)

Books read in August: 11 and I liked 3.
Best books: "Slow AF Run Club" by Martinus Evans made me want to run. Tom Hindles "Murder on Lake Garda" made me want to read his other books. "Devils Chew Toy" by Rob Osler made me want to give the second book a try.
Worst books: "Instagoner" by Sydney Leigh. It was flat and dull, and felt like an old person trying to write a young character without knowing what an influencer does.
Thoughts: I messed up and reserved too many books from the library and ended up having to read all of them at once and... I should have read some of the Goodreads recommendations based on my latest 4 star reads. I didn't really get to that this month. I did start "The Windsor Knot" by S.J. Bennett but I DNF:ed it, it wasn't for me. I knew that Queen Elizabeth was the sleuth but it was too much sucking up to the monarchy, I couldn't take it. I'm off to Amsterdam but I'll try to do better this month and get to some of those recommendations.

Walking to Barcelona Week 6
Kilometers done: 287 done. Roughly around a place called Mantorp.
Kilometers left: 2359. It’s a little sluggish on the map at the moment. I want to reach Denmark, seems more fun to look at that map than Sweden but here we are, still a few weeks left in Sweden. My birthday this week and my period so I haven’t lost any weight at all. The gained weight is probably just my period… or all the ice cream I ate. Actually going to Amsterdam this week so I hope I can keep up getting some distance down. Also starting to get dark and gloomy here. Tried to take a walk late yesterday but I quickly went back as it was scary. There’s no way I will be able to read any kind of thrillers and walks outside when it’s semi dark. Walking to Barcelona Week 5
Kilometers done: 226 done. I'm a bit outside of Norrköping.
Kilometers left: 2420. I would like to add some extra walks but I'm not sure if that would be healthy for me. But I would like to walk 20 km in a day, that's roughly what you walk on a long hike and it would be interesting to know how you feel after that kind of walk.
My weight tends to fluctuate a lot in a day but I did get a big surprise when I stepped on the scale.
At this rate I will reach Denmark around Halloween.

Four more Trash Books to read. When I found books in the trash this year I have decided to take them and read them and see if they belong in the trash (not many books deserves to end up in the trash). I haven't read a single book that I found this year, need to get started with this challenge.

Walking to Barcelona Week 4
Kilometers done: 192 done. I’m at Kolmården, guess I’ll look at some animals. Do they have kangaroos here? Kilometers left: 2454 Despite doing a long walk yesterday I still walked more last week which bummed me out a little. I took a 16 kilometer walk yesterday and I liked it. Feels like I could do that everyday for a week. The first half was better than the second half but being in the woods were nice. It got pretty dull when you were walking next to a busy street. I did feel it when I came home. I was really tired and it took maybe 2 hours before I recovered. It will be nice to rest today (Motivation for my daily walks, not actually walking to Spain)

Walking to Barcelona week 3
Kilometers done: 142 kilometers, somewhere around Svalsta
Kilometers left: 2503
If I keep up this weeks tempo I have about 46 more weeks to go. I have burned 6609 calories, that's almost 1,3kg of chips (yum!). Yesterday I started listening to the book "Slow AF Run Club" by Martinus Evans so I did run for a few minutes during the walk as well. Listening to books about running, walking, hiking has been fun when being out in the woods, I recommend it. (Fantasy also works well but it's starting to get darker in the evening and tree stumps and such looks like orcs in the dark so...)

BEST BOOK: If I can pick only one… I think I’d go with “Nosy Neighbors” by Freya Sampson WORST BOOK: "12 Trips in 12 Months" by Jen Ruiz, it’s labeled as a book to help you travel more, especially as a solo woman but it’s just a woman moaning about her shitty love life for a year while traveling. THOUGHTS: Read 4 books that I gave a 4 this month, that’s pretty darn good for me. I will read more about books before giving them a go. I usually don’t as I don’t want to have any spoilers. I will also look to see based on my 4 star books, what similar books are recommended and give them a try. Fingers crossed for August to be a good reading month. Oh, 3 out of the 4 best books were physical copies, is that important?

Walking to Barcelona
I can't find an app that does what I want so I have to do it by hand. To have fun with my daily walks I am aiming to reach Barcelona in a year. I need to walk 7,2 km per day which is more than I walk per day and I will have days off and all that but let's see how far we get. I'll start tomorrow, of to Barcelona we go (where I will be greeted with water pistols because I'm a dirty tourist)
