Has it wrapped for good or just for the series? I get so invested in a project that I’m always so emotional when it wraps, I don’t even like watching it because it takes me out of the experience I had. I’ve never not known what is next for me, and I don’t know if that’s weird or not but vegan cookies sound divine. What flavor are they going to be? 

nope for good, which is totally hard to think about, well to me still anyway. i’m watching it still, but i think when the final episode comes around, i may have to watch it twice, since i’ll be watching through my tears. i’m thinking of chocolate chip, or these marshmallow ones i found online.

I think this is the best plan we could have come up with. It’s not like there’s anyone else either of us could ever have better chemistry with outside of each other. Unless I had the chance to work with Kelsea, that would change things. 

right? we need to come up with a production company or something, so it’s us and only us. we’ll add kels to it too, because i need to see you two in a dramatic love story!

i mean, i can’t say much this week. i haven’t been very productive at all. grass? listen i flavor them up enough that they don’t taste like grass. you just miss them a lot and need to try them again.

boyfriend? what’s that. i only know dog that will stare at me if i don’t feed them right away. i haven’t either, and trust me that’s a very important step in getting your confidence in the kitchen

I still think back on the last few days on set of Shadowhunters and my lip starts to quiver. It was by far the best thing I had done up until that point and I still had so many more seasons left to go so I was bummed when it ended after 3 seasons. I have moved on to bigger things now of course but that show literally put me on the map and its always going to hold a special place in my heart. I was so lucky that I got to keep the bow and quiver, I was not about to let anyone take that from me. Did you keep anything from set?

You only had three seasons? I swore you all had more, thats crazy. Oh nice! I kept a pops menu, and a couple of cheryl’s outfits too. me and the other girls also got tattoos that resembled our characters, so that was pretty amazing.

it was oh so freaking emotional. it’s not as weird since it’s been a couple weeks, but i think when the last episode airs it’s going to be a crying fest all over again.

aww, thank you! that really warms my heart to hear and i’d love to have you come to a show. whichever you like to come to, just let me know and i’ll make it happen, alright? i believe it, but i’m sure you’ll all still hang at times when you can. great, looking forward to hearing how they are and possibly getting some new recipes.

i’m gonna wiggle my way out to LA to see you. from what i’ve seen online it’s the most epic experience ever. oh we will! we’re still constantly texting too. i haven’t gotten around to it yet but i will!

You gals held it together way better than I would have, seriously. I would have been ugly crying for days and you girls still looked like full goddesses. It’s hard having to say bye to your set family, especially one you spent the past seven or eight years with. That’s almost a whole decade. Listen, you making cookies will just be an excuse to invite us over. I call that a win/win situation, babe.

i posted a little photo dump last week and still got emotional doing that. when the finale hits i am going to be a giant mess yet again. i’ve seen them more than my own family, and they’re all my new found family. you know you two are welcome over anytime.

We said goodbye to basically growing up on that Riverdale set. We fell in love, had our hearts broken, fought, made up, had babies, got married…We all went through the ups and downs with each other! But you know you’re never going to lose me.

who would have thought we would make a life change on that set. i’ve made friends for life and i’ll always love the cast and crew. i know i wouldn’t lose you, but the thing is you would have to get rid of me to lose me

It sounds like you’re the best kind of person to have around on trips. I wish I could travel lighter most of the time but with work, it’s impossible. For this trip since I’d be moving so much, I’d be forced to consolidate my luggage to one bag. I don’t know how I’m going to do it.

that is so sweet, and one of the best complements! i’ve heard im over prepared, but in travel cases i can’t help it. That’s always the hardest part. I have friends that live out of carry on’s and i just don’t know how they do it.

wouldn’t it? i don’t know what i would do, having free time to travel i’d be so..so confused. but i am like super over prepared,  i’d overpack and make sure it was the right size and everything.

Absolutely. Like it’s been such a huge part of our lives for such a long time and now it’s going to just…be over. I mean I’ll soak up the last season as much as I can, once we actually start filming. Like obviously I’m ready to move on to other things as well, but still. You’re so sweet! Maybe we just need to do the baking together soon too. 

you have to soak it up as long as you can, trust me. and you’re gonna cry, a lot. even if you say you’re not gonna cry, you are. oh that would be so much fun, we have to!

Oh my God, seeing you all post that Riverdale has wrapped has been emotional even to the public, I can’t only imagine how it feels to the cast. You’ve been together for years and truly became a family as we can see, so it must be hard to let the show go. But at the same time, you all have so many opportunities coming in your direction and exciting new projects to explore. I do believe there’s a new you after Riverdale, we are never the same after some characters and Cheryl probably had a huge impact on you. Did you say vegan cookies? They must be delicious. I have a ton of recipes saved to do, but still haven’t done a single one. Am I a compulsive recipe saver or just a lazy person?

it was so emotional, we cried reading the last script, we cried knowing it was the last one, there is still so many emotions happening around it too! we’re a family for sure, and i’ve made friendships to last my entire life. i think there will be too, i have to find her first, but she’ll be ready to show i’m more than just cheryl . i have so many things saved its not even funny. they’ve been sitting so long that some have been deleted and i’m like...oops.

That makes exactly one of us, because I’m pretty sure I still get teary eyed at least once a day when I think about it. I think the only plan for us both should be to only work together for the rest of our lives.

when i posted my instagram yesterday i got all emotional too. that sounds like a good idea, best costars ever ever. it’ll be like how some actors only chose to work with certain ones, we can only deal with each other.

That was me when we finished filmin’ for Game of Thrones. Lots of tears and sobs and wishin’ it’d never end. But you’ll never lose that off-screen family, I promise. You’ll just have to make random hang outs now for when you’re all free. Meet up whenever you lot can. Bakin’ sounds fun and doin’ TikTok recipes is a good startin’ point. They got tons of great ones on there.

me and the other ladies got tattoos together so i think we’ll be remembering this for quite a while. i know i’ll stop everything to get a chance to hang out with them again. they do! i need to get my kitchen knowledge expanded more so i have so many things saved to make,

As somebody who has been in a show with a similar familial energy, I can say with confidence that as long as you all make the effort to see and support each other at every available opportunity, it won’t take long for you to settle into the post-series life. Especially when you start being busy with new projects. Do you have anything lined up yet, or are you taking a well deserved break?

it’s taking some getting used to, but it’s starting to happen. i’m now a face of a mercedes benz which...totally doesn’t make sense in my mind at all. other than that, just taking a break. been doing so much filming in between riverdale those years too. so just seeing whatever happens right now.
