Okay so I鈥檓 also not a huge fan of legitimized Gendry but one thing is that it has so much potential for a reverse acorn hall. Like I want to see Gendry getting shoved into fancy lords clothes while Arya laughs her ass off.

Imagine being SO horny. You're shaking with it. Make no mistake: you want to FUCK.
But! Instesd you have to do this show in front of all these people. And what's worse, once you get there, one of the other performers is 1) a hot guy and 2) into you. Like clearly into you. Like let's go right here into you.
Nevermind, you lock in and you give a pretty good performance. But the hot guy stumbles through his moves (because he's distracted by you. cute.) and his partner - a tiny guy who seems really entitled - ends up falling. No big deal, nobody was hurt and the crowd is applauding.
The tiny entitled guy doesn't see it like that. Just as you're thinking about going over to Hot Guy and introducing yourself with the intent to fuck, the entitled guy grabs a fucking sword and fucking BEHEADS him! Kills him in cold blood! And then they just let him walk out of there??? Where is the King's justice???
You are Ser Loras Tyrell's horse at the Hand's tourney.

Trial of Seven
In 42聽AC during the Faith Militant uprising, Ser Damon Morrigen, the Grand Captain of the Warrior's Sons challenged King Maegor I Targaryen to a trial of seven, believing the right to rule the Seven Kingdoms did not belong to Maegor. Maegor accepted the challenge, and faced Damon and six other Warrior's Sons. The man-at-arms Dick Bean inspired five knights to defend the king. While the tales about the trial are often contradictory, they all agree that Maegor was the last one standing. However, Maegor was severely injured by the last of the Warrior's Sons, fell to the ground shortly after killing his last opponent, and was unconscious for several weeks

I have re-read the chapters of F&B where they talk about Andrwo Farman and i am a bit convinved that Androw was resentful to Rhaena for not giving him the position that he was SUPPOSEDLY going to have when he married Rhaena, either he was being tricked by the queen and Elissa to make a deal and marry... OR perhaps there is some true that Rhaena married him in gratitude to Androw's father or that his father had made an agreement with her to protect Androw and taking him as his husband so he does not stays with his brother once he dies (not knowing how horribly wrong this would go). As we know Marq Farmann turned into Lord because his father and older brother died fighting for Aegon the Uncrowned, meaning that Marq Farmann was a second son that had no chance of turning into Lord unti that moment, and he saw that too in his younger son. Marq loved all his children, and he surely knew about the mistreatments Andrew passed, but he could somehow protect him or at least try to diminish those abuses while he was alive. Plus, he knew that as soon as he died, Franklyn Farmann would surely force Elissa to marry a man, and by this point her relationship with Rhaena was openly known by everyone. Rhaena was more or less in the same position, as Rogar had two younger brothers UNMARRIED, and he was searching to make House Baratheon the second most powerful house of the realm just under the Targaryens. Everyone was fully conscient of this, so they would strike two birds with one stone: Rhaena married Androw, giving him protection and a position that he would never posses in his brother's house or by any other marriage, that would make Rhaena unable to marry again and would guarantee that Elissa stays by her side. And this was how things went. The men did not mocked Androw openly on his face as they did before, and even they managed to get to Casterly Rock safe and together (with a bit of helpo of the sailors, the fishermen and the guards, but they managed to get there.
But i think the problems began once they arrived to Casterly Rock and it was clear that Rhaena was not really going to really going to give any real power to Androw or try to make him respected in her court. As he was being openly mocked by Tyler Hill while trying to flex his battle scars to Rhaena. And we have no ACCOUNTS that Rhaena had tries to stop this show of disrespect against him nor the subsecuential shows of disrespect that came all along their marriage. In his final revenge speech, he clearly states what he could have been a Lord, that he could have gave his advice to Rhaena or that he could have gave her children (Umm, Andrew, that's not-). But what we can really see trough this words that he, most of all, wanted to be respected, yet, time after time, after time, after time, he was clearly being disrespected by everyoen around hi, even the servants and Aerea, that throwed a chamberpot over his head because she was angry with Rhaena, not him, Rhaena. He lacked clearly the abilities to making himself respected, as he didn't knew to read, to write, he never ended his training as a squire or named knight, and he foolishly tought that pure willingness to do things will make him apt to do them, without any proper knowledge or work. Yet, Rhaena did not gave them the necessary tools to make himself be respected in Dragonstone, she did not even tgave him the more societal respect, as she denied him to even present himself with her in both King's landing and Storm's end, and openly mocked him while he tried to ask for the position of Commander. This last few incidents i think personally where Rhaena's way to canalize the anger she had towards Elissa for leaving her but most of it, for stealing the dragon eggs. And Androw was there,in all his punny glory, being alredy mocked by everyone, it was not the correct thing to do, but it was the easiest way to let it all out. Plus, she was alredy grieveing a relationship and a betrayal, (yes, because what Elissa did was a betrayal).
Androw surely was promised some kind of confortable life with respect that he was not going to receive under his brother's hpuse by marrying Rhaena, this was Marq Farmann's way to secure that her and him where somehow safe, as he knew how his older son was going to be. Yet, when Androw was met that Rhaena really had no real interest in giving him this respect, and let everyone pass over him, while she was """"happy"""" with her ladies in waiting and favourites, and openly mocked by them, he decided to take that decision that he tought it was adequate to what he was feeling. He wanted for Rhaena to feel as alone as he had been during his life as her husband by killing her closer friends. His dead was not in a futile attempt to scape, he wanted to die, but not before leaving Rhaena completely alone and miserable as he was.

i think that ASOIAF/F&B is one of those series that once you know where it tooks inspiration from and you purposefully engange with such inspirations, it gets more richful and you seem to understand the characters a bit more. I don't know if anyone has pointed this out but i think Jaeherys, Alyssa and Rogar's relationship directly parallels the realtionship between Edward III, Isabella of France and Roger Mortimer, specifically in the Acursed kings series. Alyssa and Rogar began a relationship with eachother despite Jaeherys' disagreement, just like Isabella and Roger Mortimer did, and both relationships where given during the regency of the woman's son. And in both series, it is clear that there is certain tension between the child and the man, specifically given that the realm/court says that by all means, the man wants to be a king by marrying the former queen/Queen Mother. Rogar goes to the extent of making himself some weddings that are pretty much like the ones of a king.

Was Visenya......a boy mom? Those toxic emotional incestuous boy mom? Or was she just close to Maegor and not emotionally incestuous??
All Targaryens are toxic incestuous boy moms and girl moms and boy dads and girl dads. They got GENERATIONS doing the incest thing with eachother, to the point where the lines between a normal affectionate relationship and a romantic relationship began to diffuminate. With Visenya i think that there is 50/50 the chances she was a boy mom and that she was just a Normal Mom. Beggining with the fact it had only been her and Maegor in Dragonstone for YEARS. And the things he said during his wedding night with Ceryse about breeding an heir for the Targaryen house that night? Yeah, i don't think he got them from thin air, but wheter he took them from his mom or he was influented by the usual toxic misoginistyc environment of the time periodit is unknown to me. ALSO his reign crumbled like a soggy cookie when she died. Yes, she had Tyanna and his advisors, but Visenya was his main supporter and strongest ally (I think that is a really big Irony that Maegor was one of the kings that worse treated women, but he also he heavily relied on them to reign). On the other hand... idk, i think they lack enough interactions for me to point some kind of psycho sexual obsession between them like Aegon, Aemond and Alicent in HOTD.

Did Visenya care for Aenys? Cause I think he was born 5 years before Maegor and I have no idea if she cared for him, did she even care for Rhaenys? Did she care for Maegor, for Aegon? Or was she that cliche one dimensional I only care about myself and power character? Do we know anything about her besides her being a badass and Maegor's witchy mom?
Oh, she surely loved both Rhaenys and Aegon. I mean, she was not overwhelming affectionate with them as say, Lyanna and Ned, or Jon and Arya. Her relationship with Aegon and Rhaenys was heavily affected by the conquest, their legacies and their marriages. Visenya and Aegon BOTH cried and grieved Rhaenys when she died in Dorne (The Dragon's Wroth), and the main reason Visenya made the Kingsguard was to protect Aegon. Aegon had in high regard both of his sisters, even if he romantically and sexually loved Rhaenys more, he still followed Visenya's advices and took them in consideration. As Blood and Fire says, they had never been more influential queens in westeros than them. I think this only changed after Rhaenys death, and when Visenya returned to Dragonstone. Personally, i don't think she loved Aenys like a nephew, but she respected him because he was Rhaenys and Aegon's son AND the next king of Westeros. He was the legacy of her siblings, and so the iron throne was. Being the cunning and smart woman she was, it is clear that she knew Aenys was weak and frail both mentally and physically, and that he would need someone to support him as king, and in case he died, a fast replacement for an heir. And here enters Maegor. I don't think Maegor was born exclusively to usurp Aenys, because if that was the case, they had a plenty of opportunities to do so, but they never did. Maegor was more like a support for his brother, the person that would push him to take the hard choices and to spill blood and fight his wars if needed. Aenys was too soft hearted to do so, so that was Maegor was born for. He was raised exactly for that: A warrior, the best of his type, and i think they found the perfect equilibrium as hand and king. Yet, the problems began when Aenys denied to marry Rhaena to Maegor and decided to marry her to Aegon the uncrowned (Yes, it WAS a dumb decision, really, because even if Maegor was not the warrior we know by this point, he was a man and he only had a daughter. It would join the two targaryen branches, but whatever. I think Aenys was trying to emulate his parent's marriage with their children, Aegon-Rhaenys/Aegon-Rhaena, you get me?)
Here arrives ANOTHER whole rant about Maegor's identity as a Targaryen and closeness to his family and his legacy. Maegor was raised far away from the court, from his father and brother, and we do not know if Aegon even tried to form a real connection with him as he did with Aenys. Marrying Rhaena would bring him directly inside the family, he would never be far away from court and from the iron throne, but they denied him that. It was only after Aegon's death that Aenys tried to mend their relationship and tried to fix what Aegon broke, naming him his hand, giving him Blackfyre and letting him claim Balerio (and that made a whole lot set of problems). But it was not the same, The hand's title can be taken and given whenever the king wanted, a marriage cannot. It may have worked for some years, but when Aenys announced his children's marriage, the Faith did not liked it, began to revolt and Maegor saw how easily the things began to go to shit, he remembered he was raised to support Aenys, yeah, but foremost, to protect the Tragaryen LEGACY. And that include assure heirs of his own, wheter they were with Ceryse, Alys, Tyanna or Rhaena.
