"You'd do that just for me?" Maeve's smile brightened as she felt him take her hands and kiss them, a light shade of blush flushing her cheeks. He always had her melting into a puddle. "How about tonight? I think it's about a five-and-a-half-hour drive, but with the way you drive we could get there much sooner I'm sure." She laughed and leaned in, kissing his cheek softly. "You're the sweetest man, Rafe Cameron. I adore you."

"Maeve, I don't think you understand that I would bring the moon down to the earth if you wanted me to." Rafe said and looked at her. He took her hands into his and kissed both of them. "When do you want to leave?"

"This semester has already been sucking the life out of me." Maeve looked up at Rafe as she spoke, eyes locked on his, "I want to leave the city for a few days, but only if you're willing to come with me? My family has a place up in Saranac. It's a bit of a drive but, it's a secluded cabin on a beautiful lake, and I think having a little more alone time would be nice." /@rafeacameron

"Thanks, Ryker. I know some people don't like him and think he's dangerous or something, but he's not." She assured him, thankful that he was listening and talking through this with her. "He's actually very sweet and I know he would never hurt me." She let out a soft sigh, "So, anyway, tell me, how are you?"

"There's nothing bad inside of you, nothing." Ryker promised the young woman. "So what if you like Rafe Cameron? You can't help who you have feelings for." @maevestarkxox

"I'm sorry! I thought I did already." Maeve laughed and looked over at her friend. "But yes, Rafe's been staying over a lot lately and we've been getting closer. He means a lot to me and makes me really happy."

"Why didn't you tell me?" Oddette looked at her friend. "We tell each other everything, Maeve." @maevestarkxox

"It's true, it was a fun time, but I've calmed down a little now." She laughed and then smiled as she felt Rafe's hand on top of hers. "John B., right. I remember you talking about him a little bit. He's her boyfriend?" She moved closer to Rafe and kissed his cheek after he finished speaking. "I don't think she'll wind up on the same path as Sarah. Especially since she has you. I'd love to meet her some time. Also, my parents kind of want to meet you, too. If you're up for it. I'm sure they'll love you."

"Hey, I think everyone deserves a wild streak every now and again, it's what keeps us alive." Rafe chuckled and looked at Meave as he put his hand on top of her's. "It's not all Sarah's fault, John B is really to blame for most of it." He shrugged and gave a smile at the mention of WHeezie. "Yeah, she is very nice, very smart too, I'm hoping she doesn't fall down the same path as Sarah does."

Maeve: Shit, still haven't figured that out yet? I'm sorry, Viv. From meeting him, I genuinely think he cares for you. Just my personal opinion... but I feel like you aren't really feeling him so much? Correct me if I'm wrong. You're my bestie and I just want to make sure you're happy above all else. Maeve: We can drink the night away, no boy talk if you don't want to, but I'm here to listen if you do! Drunk decisions are always the best ones to make.

“I had a friend like that. I was a little wild my first year of college.. well a lot wild lets say.” She took a sip of her wine and set her bowl down, placing a hand on Rafe’s leg after. “I kinda figured. From the little youve told me about her and what Ive heard from Viv. I dont blame you. One reason Im glad Im the only child is so I never have to deal with the sibling drama.” She gave his leg a soft squeeze. “But you have another little sister right? Wheezie was it? She seems nice from what youve said.”

"Topper and I went to the same school as for Barry, I met him because he was, is, the best dealer down in the OBX." Rafe chuckled. "I think that's what she's doing, I gotta be honest with you Maeve, I don't keep in contact with Sarah like that."

Maeve wasnt one to judge in any shape or form so him saying Barry was a dealer didnt really cause much of reaction out of her. “A wild friend is a must have and loyalty is everything, so is that how you two met or did you know him and then find out he was a dealer?” She asked curiously taking a bite of her ice cream. “He was alright, I mean, nice. Im not really sure how their relationships going though.” She admitted. “Oh yeah, he dated your sister. I forgot about that part. Actually,I think Viv mentioned that too. She was living with Sarah and Kiara and I think the other girls name was Cleo?”

"Barry is...he's wild." Rafe laughed and looked at Maeve as he sat down next to her and took a sip of his ice cream. "He's uh...he's a dealer, amongst other things so he's got money, but it's dirty money. He's also very loyal." He said. "Oh did you? What did you think of him? I heard he was dating someone other than Sarah, I'm glad that he's finally moved on."

Hearing those words from Rafe made her feel really happy, she looked at him and sat down in one of the seats, pushing up the armrest so they didnt have it between them then set her stuff down on the other side of her. “I feel like I can really be myself around you, too. Whats Barry like?” She asked curiously, she wanted to get to know everything she could about him. “I met Topper once. I remember you mentioned him before. My friend Vivienne is dating him.”

Rafe smiled and looked at Maeve as they walked towards the in-home-theather and chuckled. "You know, you're one of the few people I feel like I can actually open up to and be myself around." He said. "Besides my dad and sometimes Rose, there was my freind Barry from back home and that was really it."

Maeve felt her cheeks heating up further and laughed, taking the bowl and passing him a wine glass in return. “Oh please, youre not a stranger at this point. At least Id like to think you arent. We’ve gotten pretty close.” She gave him one more quick kiss on the cheek before grabbing her own glass and carrying the ice cream and wine to the theater room. “Plus it gets lonely in here all by myself. Youre pretty great company.”

Rafe finished scoopinjg out the ice cream and handed Maeve a bowl and smiled. "No, but you are extremely gorgeous and generous. Not many people would let a random stranger stay in their house."

Maeve poured out two glasses for them and smiled over at Rafe. “I dont think so, but Im really glad we met, too.” She leaned over and kissed his cheek. “Have I ever told you how incredibly sweet and handsome you are?” She bit her lower lip and looked up into his eyes.

“Hmmm..” she pretended to think before laughing, “never. Thankfully. I love all the cuddles. At this point im not sure I could sleep without you in my bed.” She nodded, handing him the ice cream scooper and started to uncork the wine herself. “You get to scooping, ill pour.” She felt her cheeks flush at his wink. He always had such an affect on her. “Id like that.. I said before you can stay as youd like.”

“Hmmm..” she pretended to think before laughing, “never. Thankfully. I love all the cuddles. "Whenv have I ever rejected a sleepover with you?" Rafe asked with a chuckle. "Want me to pour us some wine or scoop the ice cream into bowls?" He asked. "As for the clothes, I did bring a duffel bag so you'd have more of my clothes here." He winked.

Maeve smiled up at him as she saw the wine and ice cream in the bags he brought. “Thank you!” She beamed and led him into the kitchen to grab wine glasses and spoons. “Im definitely ready, are you down for a sleepover tonight, too?” She asked pulling out the corkscrew, glasses, and spoons and placing them on the counter. “I still have some of your clothes in the top drawer in my room if you wanted to.”

Rafe was very excited to see Maeve again. He had gotten her the ice cream she had requested and a top bottle of wine from the store as well. "Hey there you." He said and returned the kiss and smiled at her. "I miss you too." He said and kissed her forehead. "I brought you chocolcate ice cream and the wine you mentioned you liked." He held the bags up and smiled. "You ready for tonight?"

Maeve had everything set up for Rafe and her to have a movie night. She had a bunch of snacks laid out, blankets, pillows spread across the theater room in her penthouse. She heard Rafe at the door and went over to greet him. “Hey, you.” She said with a big smile across her face and hugged him tightly, giving him a soft kiss, after a moment she pulled back and looked up into his eyes. “I missed you.” /@rafeacameron
