Am I wrong to be disappointed in the gettys queer history exhibit? I adored seeing everything and everyone don't get me wrong, but there was one photograph for intersex people. It was someone's genitals. The info board only said they didn't know the name of the subject and it was likely taken for medical purposes. People were gathering in that corner and gawking. My only representation in the queer art history space was a nonconsentual picture of genitals. That was it. The only representation they had for intersex history was a waist down picture of someone's genitals. Not our activism, not Hermaphrodites with Attitude, not our lives, not our faces, not our books, not the celebrities or athletes with variations, not our myths or statues or ancient art, just genitals. I left the event early, because I couldn't stop looking at people and knowing that if I talked to them about being intersex all they would see would be genitals, because I knew that after the whole exhibit they would all only know me as genitals.

So I'm new to this page and Tumblr in general, but I love your content.

I just wanted to say how upset I am that on Tiktok (oh surprise, I have a toxic relationship with that app) someone posted pictures of the Ao3 founder calling her a "Diva." I was very happy because I genuinely thank her for all the fanfics I can read and upload. When I went into the comments there were a lot of ugly things towards her because she is Wincest Shiper.

Things like "all Proshippers look the same" ?? And people were like "It's the polyamorous look" ????????? IN PRIDE MONTH? I used that as a block list, but there were really too many. And when you went to their profile, they all had "Anti-Trump" and stuff like that. I really don't understand them. SOMEONE EVEN SAID AO3 WAS A BAD PLACE! HELLO?

People should be grateful that she created a completely free site where you can enjoy fan fiction. Unlike a certain orange app (yes, Wattpad, I'm talking to you).

It just really pissed me off, if you hate the creator so much, go to Wattpad, stop using the site if you hate it so much, BUT THEY KEEP USING IT!
