As he sat there pondering, he couldn't shake off the feeling of worry that had been gnawing at him for a while now. He was concerned about his wife's safety whenever she hung out with Iridessa. It always seemed like something went wrong when the two of them were together.

Despite his growing anxiety, he didn't want to come off as impolite or confrontational. So, to break the tension and keep the conversation light, he decided to engage in some casual small talk with Guido. He asked him how he was doing, trying to steer clear of the elephant in the room - the bruises that Iridessa had inflicted on Guido during their last altercation.

he looked over to see james "nah i've not seen her. come again, i've not seen iridessa either. you might want to get on that, those two are nothing but trouble together. i still have bruises from when i was run down by that tiny goddamn car of iridessa's"
