Really trying to be positive and figure out who I am and what I want but I’m not sure how to sustain that through these episodes of nothing but alternating numbness and emotional agony. I dissociate away almost all of every day. I haven’t mentally existed in the real world for more than a few minutes at a time in almost a week. I haven’t done a single thing but feed myself enough to not die I guess. I just really really really want to stop feeling this way so fucking badly I want it to stop hurting so much I just want actual reality to be bearable enough to be able to participate in my own life I’m missing my own life like if the main character was an npc just a physical form sitting on a bench please please please can I please feel better somehow please please please please please please please please please please please please

I don’t need to check my phone or scroll when I wake up because starting a new day is fulfilling enough on its own
My life is so exciting I hardly ever scroll for longer than a minute or two, and when I do it’s a mindful choice that I do not feel guilty about
I forgive myself for all the days like today, where I lose a large chunk of my morning to scrolling
I am only doing my best but I am also striving for my best to be better because I know I’m capable of more

✅done!
✅ GOAL: clean the bathroom in one hour
I’ll be home alone for a little over one hour. My goal is to clean the bathroom.
I can clean the bathroom in one hour. Nothing about this warrants stress or anxiety.
I will allow myself time and space to mentally prepare and think of the beginning steps and then I will feel ready and I will start.
I will listen to music and even though I take my time and don’t feel rushed, it will go by fast and I will finish with time to spare.
Then I will have a clean bathroom and it will feel really good and look and smell really good too and I will be proud of myself.
It sucks that it will just get dirty again and I’ll have to do the same thing next week, but I am very grateful for indoor plumbing so it’s definitely worth it.
Good for me for journaling about something that feels difficult. I feel overwhelmed by the task but I will break it down into smaller steps and make it happen anyway
I am clearly taking my self discipline/self improvement/self discovery journey very seriously, and I’ve already come so far 🩶👏👏👏
